Oh well I thought,- they have been in the mail for a week, I wonder in what kind of condition I will find them? I was rather shocked when I opened the box and found green materials inside! It took quite a while to unpack/cut away the packing materials, but inside I found 4 living French tarragon rooted plugs. Damn,- they really looked great. I was hoping that one might be struggling to stay alive,- but they were packed impeccably, and not a drop of soil had spilt out. Lots of parking, no lines for food, and plenty of room to roam in the pumpkin patch. We grabbed a wagon and some clippers and found a pumpkin to cut off the vine. There are plenty of pre-cut pumpkins too if you'd rather just pick one that way (and take some cute pics). The wood-fired pizza was SO good and fairly priced. We really enjoyed the salsiccia pie, but all of them sounded delicious. And had to get a half dozen cider donuts for the road, obviously. He was willing to answer questions and gave us a really informative tour. I learned alpacas originate from south America, they almost went extinct and they're related to camels! I also didn't know that they don't have top teeth! The tour was thorough and to the point, we got to feed and interact with the alpaca. You can tell they are well taken care of, because they were willing to socialize with us. Of course they were food motivated, but they also tolerated us after the food was gone! The alpaca are so soft... Alpacas are one of my favorite animals and I'm so happy we were able to interact with them. My son was able to feed them as well and he really enjoyed the experience. The farm itself was nestled in a picturesque countryside setting, with rolling green hills and breathtaking views. The facilities were well maintained, you can tell right away how well they care for the llamas. Our adventure started with an informative presentation about their llamas. We all learned interesting facts. Then we got to walk llamas though their obstacle course. And got plenty of pictures and videos. Nestled in the woods with beautiful stables on one side and cabins on the other, the space is perfect for an intimate, relaxing gathering. The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, always on hand to provide hors d'oeuvres, drinks, or anything else we needed.
