The authenticity of this curation of artists is soul-stirring. Upon entering Mirrorball Gallery, my senses were awakened. The cool, open airy space smelled fresh pleasant: the art on display invited me to pause, consider and wonder at each element within the piece. Lively music played as I perused through two(!) levels of the space. Vincent and Alex are friendly and warm people who are eager to share their vision with everyone who enters. The best part of our trip was visiting this place. I don't have enough words to describe OnAgain…read moreOffAgain Farm. We visited on Thursday, March 27, 2025. We called that morning and were able to visit at 2:00 PM. They welcomed us and gave us a complete and very informative tour of the farm. We got to meet the alpacas by name and visit the 11-month-old and 4-month-old alpacas with their mothers. We even had the chance to feed and walk with one of them. A huge thank you to the wonderful couple who owns this property for your kindness, patience, and understanding, especially with part of my family who did not speak English, allowing us time to translate. Your property is beautiful, and the alpacas are clearly loved and well taken care of. We will definitely visit again next time we are in this part of the country!

Recently Max of Max and Company was asked to frame my husbands 2016 Ironman race awards. The…read moreproblem was he had to match frames and matting from four previous races, the original framer was no longer available. Max researched and found the company for the moulding, contacted them and found it was no longer available. He gave us choices for the closest match, we decided and shortly received the call that the project was complete. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the price. We were impressed he tried so hard to find the same product. The only problem now is the newest framing looks so much better than the other four!

I finally got to play the course here the other day, so I feel like I can give it a total review…read more The country club is located close to my companies plant in Spartanburg, so we go there a lot for group lunches and meetings. It's a gated community so you can't just swing in, at least I don't think so anyway. Anyway, the most important part of this review is the course! It's a solid challenge, and the greens are in great shape right now. They aerated them within the last few months, so they're looking good now. The front 9 are pretty open, but there are quite a few challenging holes that make you pay if you don't play it safe. The back 9 are a lot tighter and with narrow fairways and a lot of water. Not as many mentally tough challenges, but it keeps you on your toes. As for the clubhouse, you could be forgiven for thinking the country club was a lot older than it is. It's only been around since the 80's, but they've done a really cool job of making the floors and furnishings seem old and worn in, but in a good way. The food, which is served in their restaurant, is decent. A lot of the usual standard items, club sandwiches, hot dogs, etc. They do have some items that are particularly good though, the best one being their Bison Burger, that's the way to go. Anyway, altogether it's a nice place and a good place to ruin a perfectly good walk as they say.
