Specialties
We specialize in helping hobbyists make things for fun and businesses make things for a profit.
SynergyMill is a 7000 square foot coworking makerspace. We have a shared workshop with woodworking tools, metalworking tools, electronics tools, welding equipment, 3d printers, a laser cutter, workbenches, and more.
If you're looking for a place you can paint, saw, create, build, and make some noise and dust, this is the coworking space for you. We can be your workshop if you don't have one at home.
But, tools aren't everything. The synergy created by the community is where the real magic happens. Collaboration on ideas, lending a helping hand, or having plain old fun are benefits that you'll discover because the people in our community are friendly, capable, and generally awesome.
History
Established in 2015.
Cofounders Doug Cone and Joey Loman put into motion the brilliant idea of establishing a nonprofit makerspace and community workshop in Greenville.
With mostly donated tools and some big favors from the NEXT organization, they created a community of makers, artists, engineers, and inventors who share the resource of the Synergy Mill workshop.
Today the initiative continues to expand in into a small business incubator, student mentoring, equipping hobbyists, inspiring artists, and helping homeless veterans find purpose and confidence through making.
