shrimp, broccoli, and carrots in a stir fry
    Heather W.

I liked this food, but the order was incorrect- they need to read the notes. The pork egg rolls were overfried/dry and was mainly cabbage The pork FR was mainly rice The shrimp w bb barely had any black beans- I thought it was an incorrect order (which it was) The Singapore mei fun was very very spicy Despite all this, I did like the food. I'm not sure if I'd return due to its obvious stinginess in proteins. I was excited to try the Korean food but now think it will be similar.

    General Tso's Chicken Combination

Average Chinese food. I went for my usual new Chinese food location dishes; general tso's chicken combination and fried wonton. Im sure people would say this is better than most, and it is because there are some bad Chinese places around, but to me, It was okay, standard, and nothing really stood out. It temporarily satisfied my cravings until I try another location. But the shining star of my meal was the Doenjang Jjigae, the Korean stew. That was a five star item. I would go back for it if I ever wanted a good soup or was hungry and in the area. There is a section of the menu titled 'Korean Food' which now I am curious to try... I think that this part of the menu may be Hungry Panda's specialty. If I ever went back, I would order more "Korean Food" instead if their average American Chinese Food.

Horrible food! Small place we stopped by on Christmas to get a bite before heading into the city; although it was prepared in a timely manner the order of sesame chicken tasted old and was drenched in a lack luster sauce. I should have just waited or stopped at a gas station. I wouldn't even offer it to a homeless person. Yuck!

    Beef Bowl
    Michael R.

Great first experience at Hungry Panda! I ordered the beef bowl and my nephew had the sweet and sour chicken. We ordered for take out online which was a very easy process and food was ready as promised. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food we received. Staff was friendly and efficient. The beef bowl was cooked perfectly and came with a variety of vegetables including zucchini, carrots, mushrooms and sprouts. It was served over white rice and topped with an egg and gochuchang sauce. I wish there was a little more sauce on it but this was a great experience! I look forward to coming back and ordering it again.

Staff is very rude, quality of food was not good. I found a shred of metal in my food that got stabbed me in my mouth 1 inch long. When I called to complain mark said sorry I don't know what to tell you. I told him you lost me as a customer and fuck your place and he replied go fuck yourself. Never again....

    Chili Green Beans

I don't understand all of the hype! I thought the food was decent but it didn't blow me away. It was your run of the mill take out Chinese. We ordered the Dan Dan Noodles, the Chili Green Beans, and the General Tso's Chicken. The Dan Dan noodles were just ok. They were almost too spicy and I like spice. The Chili Green Beans were just average as well. I like when the beans are blistered from the cooking but these seemed undercooked. The flavor was pretty good. The General Tso's Chicken was again just average. It certainly wasn't all white meat like I've read in other reviews. I would probably order from here again but it is definitely not the best Chinese food in the area. There are far better options in Milford.

    Jajang myeon
    Seulkee H.

I ordered, from Uber Eat, jajang myeon and orange chicken. This might be the only one shop that has Korean jajang myeon around the town. The delivery way a bit too long (20minutes) and that made the noodle mushy but it is just because my home was far. Orange chicken was amazing - crunchy skin, chewy inside, and flavorful sauce. Definitely I want to order from here again.

General tso chicken combo with pork fried rice and crab Rangoon(my favorite style triangle crab Rangoon).

The food was fantastic and tasted like real, home‑style Korean cooking. They kept bringing out so many ban chan side dishes, and they even surprised our table with some fried chicken, which was delicious. I ordered the dolsot bibimbap, and it was perfect mix of fresh, colorful, crunchy, and full of flavor. Every part of it, from the veggies to the rice to the beef, was cooked just right. Even though the restaurant was packed, the staff handled everything smoothly and still made each party feel like they were taken care of without rushing anyone. Highly recommend a visit.

Five-Star Review If…read moreyou're looking for a restaurant that turns dinner into an experience, Dawa Korean Restaurant is it. The tabletop cooking is nothing short of epic--interactive, fun, and perfectly paced--so every bite hits the table at peak flavor. The pork and beef are absolutely phenomenal: richly marinated, tender, and grilled to smoky perfection right in front of you. The sushi is fresh and beautifully balanced, and the chicken wings are a knockout--crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and packed with bold, savory flavor. Save room for dessert, because the deep-fried ice cream is pure joy: hot, crunchy shell giving way to cold, creamy bliss. What truly elevates Dawa, though, is the staff. They're extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind--always happy to guide you through the menu, explain the grilling process, and make sure your experience is flawless. Highly recommended without hesitation. We got our soup bases first, rice, then meats, seafood, veggies, and noodles, everything arrived quickly and stayed stocked. Service was great and our waitress Dana was nice. A few things were disappointing though: the grill wasn't centered on the table and kept turning off, which made cooking a little frustrating and cramped. This location also doesn't offer crab legs (even though we saw them online), which was a big letdown for my daughter. The sauce/appetizer station was just wack, the dessert area was really lacking no ice cream, only sponge cake and some stale looking popcorn. Dana did bring our table 1 cupcake, which was sweet of her. Overall, we had fun and left full after about 1.5 hours, (limit is 2) but the desserts, missing crab legs, and grill issues make me not want to return. The food itself was fresh and flavorful, though, and service was fast and friendly.

Same to the Crab legs overcooked and tasteless. Not many seafood selection for bbq/hotpot. Pineapple very sour, looks not ripe yet. We had hotpot and bbq. There's always missing items especially the meat, not giving much veggies for you very small bunch (few strings watercress) for 5 pp(seriously!) then I figured regardless you add 1 or 5 they give you same amount, long wait too. We just end up feelin " begging for food" because you have to keep ordering to get some food to show up, unlike the experience we had in Danbury. I'd rather drive over there to have a better attentive meal. It's so obvious they failed to performe like a buffet especially there's comparison i had in Danbury and harsdale, NY and New Jersey locations. Service is slow even in a weekday. The person cleaning the table is doing good job, other than that, no one comes over unless we ask for it. Honestly in Danbury they keep coming over to either change the gril (so it doesn't get all the char)l or adding soup because they dry up quickly in small pot and no missing items. And also someone cares your experience.... It was also a birthday celebration night. Unfortunately the overall experience is not pleasant, food quality is below the standard. Hope they can improve as i do appreciate they are in the area.

The rest of the food were mostly misses, the worst being the Kalbi. The flavor was a little too sweet but in a teriyaki sauce kind of way, not the Korean pear/sugar/soy sauce way. The seafood pajeon was too burnt and did not have any seafood, almost all batter. The banchan was ok but the kimchee was a little too ripe. Service was a little show because they were short staffed according to our waiter. So all in all, just not a great experience. I would probably be a little more lenient but prices are similar to Flushing/Bayside even though I would assume their overhead was lower.
