shrimp, broccoli, and carrots in a stir fry
    Heather W.

I liked this food, but the order was incorrect- they need to read the notes. The pork egg rolls were overfried/dry and was mainly cabbage The pork FR was mainly rice The shrimp w bb barely had any black beans- I thought it was an incorrect order (which it was) The Singapore mei fun was very very spicy Despite all this, I did like the food. I'm not sure if I'd return due to its obvious stinginess in proteins. I was excited to try the Korean food but now think it will be similar.

    General Tso's Chicken Combination

Average Chinese food. I went for my usual new Chinese food location dishes; general tso's chicken combination and fried wonton. Im sure people would say this is better than most, and it is because there are some bad Chinese places around, but to me, It was okay, standard, and nothing really stood out. It temporarily satisfied my cravings until I try another location. But the shining star of my meal was the Doenjang Jjigae, the Korean stew. That was a five star item. I would go back for it if I ever wanted a good soup or was hungry and in the area. There is a section of the menu titled 'Korean Food' which now I am curious to try... I think that this part of the menu may be Hungry Panda's specialty. If I ever went back, I would order more "Korean Food" instead if their average American Chinese Food.

Horrible food! Small place we stopped by on Christmas to get a bite before heading into the city; although it was prepared in a timely manner the order of sesame chicken tasted old and was drenched in a lack luster sauce. I should have just waited or stopped at a gas station. I wouldn't even offer it to a homeless person. Yuck!

    Beef Bowl
    Michael R.

Great first experience at Hungry Panda! I ordered the beef bowl and my nephew had the sweet and sour chicken. We ordered for take out online which was a very easy process and food was ready as promised. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food we received. Staff was friendly and efficient. The beef bowl was cooked perfectly and came with a variety of vegetables including zucchini, carrots, mushrooms and sprouts. It was served over white rice and topped with an egg and gochuchang sauce. I wish there was a little more sauce on it but this was a great experience! I look forward to coming back and ordering it again.

Staff is very rude, quality of food was not good. I found a shred of metal in my food that got stabbed me in my mouth 1 inch long. When I called to complain mark said sorry I don't know what to tell you. I told him you lost me as a customer and fuck your place and he replied go fuck yourself. Never again....

    Chili Green Beans

I don't understand all of the hype! I thought the food was decent but it didn't blow me away. It was your run of the mill take out Chinese. We ordered the Dan Dan Noodles, the Chili Green Beans, and the General Tso's Chicken. The Dan Dan noodles were just ok. They were almost too spicy and I like spice. The Chili Green Beans were just average as well. I like when the beans are blistered from the cooking but these seemed undercooked. The flavor was pretty good. The General Tso's Chicken was again just average. It certainly wasn't all white meat like I've read in other reviews. I would probably order from here again but it is definitely not the best Chinese food in the area. There are far better options in Milford.

    Jajang myeon
    Seulkee H.

I ordered, from Uber Eat, jajang myeon and orange chicken. This might be the only one shop that has Korean jajang myeon around the town. The delivery way a bit too long (20minutes) and that made the noodle mushy but it is just because my home was far. Orange chicken was amazing - crunchy skin, chewy inside, and flavorful sauce. Definitely I want to order from here again.

General tso chicken combo with pork fried rice and crab Rangoon(my favorite style triangle crab Rangoon).

Food is not fresh. Possibly spoiled and old. Got sick twice from eating the kimchi dumplings.

GO ELSEWHERE! It's a dog pound and I would leave it ZERO stars if I could…read more FOOD: Horrible! Eggrolls so greasy the oil gushes down your palm. Orange and Gerneral Tso's chicken is woody - hard and stringy. Pork Fried Rice has NO onions, peas or carrots and has only a few tiny bits of pork, so basically you're ordering yellow rice with a few tiny pieces of bean sprouts. YUCK! The white rice was ok. Pan Fried Dumplings were tiny, overfried wontons so hard they were inedible... one of us almost broke a tooth! We have had better food from cheap food carts! You will NOT receive crunchy noodles, sauces, utensils or napkins and don't even think of asking for chopsticks because the first time I did the BEAST behind the counter (the taller "man") berated me for asking! Which leads me to my next point... SERVICE: Both men taking orders at the counter are RUDE, unfriendly, and rabidly argumentative! They literally drive people away! One (the smaller man) is stone-faced, doesn't make eye contact and sneers at you and the taller one is MEAN! He argues, treats you like dirt (when he's not on a personal phone call and trying to ignore you) and one time he SHOUTED at my elderly mother because she politely asked to add something to our order! He should be ashamed of himself!!! RESTAURANT: We visit the small convenience store in this strip mall very often to buy Lottery tickets and in all these years we have never seen anyone go in or come out of Tung Hing. That should have been our clue to avoid this place like the plague but we decided to try it. First impression? Tons of boxes stacked up on both sides. The second you enter you feel like you're in a warehouse. The boxes are filled with orders to save them from using (and paying for) bags. The floor was filthy and as you know the front area of any restaurant is usually indicative of the cleanliness (or lack thereof) in the back area. Look up and you will see DUST on almost every visible surface! YUCK! Read the other reviews and you will see that the two males working the front counter are rude, NASTY and driving people away, even those of us who live closeby. You will also see this food is dishwater mediocre. There is no flavor in any of it and... Never,. not once did we ever receive a receipt! That's a red flag too. You're probably being overcharged. Try asking for one and I'll bet the creep will shout at you! Never go here! Eat anywhere else. You deserve decent food for your money, a clean restaurant and friendly service. F-

Years Later, Authenticity and Pride are still the words I would use to describe this place!!!…read more Have things changed since they first opened and post-Covid, Yes in operations, but the food remained consistently great. Their current operations could definitely use some great improvement! We arrived to a sign on the door saying reservations wete needed to dine- in. So i stood there and called. They encouraged us to get take-out but i said we were outside and was persistent on dining in. She said 5 minutes. They were already inside, but now they keep the front door locked to prevent ppl from just walking in. I think they prefer for people to order online but to me the food just wouldn't be the same taking it home. So this is real Chinese food. Not like the American stuff most people are used to, but Authentic Chinese like if you actually traveled to China. This place used to have 2 menus, 1 Chinese and 1 American "Chinese" but the woman said that they no longer Serve the American Chinese menu. It's mostly the Authentic cuisine and there were only a handful of American Chinese dishes still served. I could sense the owner's annoyance when 1 person in the group kept asking for dishes not on the menu. It was hard for this girl to understand that the Chinese food that she randomly eats isn't real Chinese food lol. I'm sure that they get a lot of that from Americans... Also note that some of the prices have changed, but the owner was upfront about it. The most accurate pricing is with their online take-out menu. I learned that with their culture, everyone typically orders a dish and then the food is served family style. So two people ordering one dish and splitting it, while not illegal it can be offensive to the culture. This time I started with the smashed cucumber salad. It was a good start definitely enough to share with the table. I tried the West lake thick soup. I had to ask what it was since there was No description, but I went for it. Don't remember exactly what's in it is but I would definitely get it again. The owner was more than happy to answer any questions about the food, the history, and their culture. We ordered a number of dishes, beef with scallions and onion, dbl fried sliced pork belly, crispy pork with sweet and sour, beef w/broccoli and potato w/ chili peppers. All were delish! It's definitely not the American version we are accustomed to. There were veggies we couldn't identify, while others used in ways new to us. The food was all very flavorful And everything is still made fresh in their kitchen. Another tip is Pleeeease don't ask for soy sauce, duck sauce, or any other condiments you are used to. They put their heart and soul in these dishes so It is very offensive. Appreciate the food as prepared, and don't try to Americanize out of habit. Taste it first, I can almost guarantee that you won't need it. Remember these are Chinese people bringing a taste of their culture to America. They don't want to be Americanized, which is why i noticed that most of their patrons are Asian. Definitely go with an open mind! Call ahead and reserve a table if you want to dine-in. Just Enjoy!
