Food and service are always great. The people that work there are always so nice. They get the food done fast.

After an hour, I called the restaurant and the girl told me a manager would call me back. Almost 10 minutes later, I called back and get someone that actually works in the restaurant. Stating that the person I spoke to didn't work for them, they worked for a third party agency, despite me calling the restaurant number. I understand it's a holiday but zero communication on top of longer than expected wait time is poor business practice. I won't waste my time ordering from here again. I had a large group waiting on food and now I have to find another restaurant. read more

Do NOT waste your money on this appetizer. It was over fried, extremely greasy, the shrimp toast was so full of grease I don't usually have issues but this was the worst thing to order from here. Ordered delivery several times and the service was fast and accurate. The prices are reasonable. If I were able, I would give them 3.5 stars. The issue I have is the food. The best way to describe it is bland. Nearly everything I ordered lacked real flavor. The food was good, but only just good. There are exceptions, the soups and egg rolls are very good. One really odd thing is their fried rice. It is ONLY rice. No added eggs or vegetables of any kind, just plain, very bland, rice. If you ordered any meat/seafood in it, that item was added to the plain rice. They offered a dish called General Tso's Shrimp. The was a step up in flavor from the other entrées I ordered as the dish had a nlce mild spiciness. Overall, the food was okay but unremarkable. This is a great spot for take-out! This is the 4th time I've had it. The food is really good. I ordered their Singapore mei fun and it is really spicy, but I like spicy so it was delicious. The best take out Chinese in our area. We especially love their dumplings and mei fun.

I choose to pick up my food as it was a 5 minute drive from my apartment. I also prefer paying in cash if there is a delivery. There was no real parking at the location of the restaurant. The vegetable lo mein is really good, I'll definitely be coming back for more! I was not a fan of their fried rice, it was cooked very well, but I prefer only soy sauce on my rice. I had to add soy for it to taste like what I'm used to. The Sesame chicken was wonderfully crispy and it was seasoned well. This is a great take out place in terms of taste and price. read more

The staff here is always super friendly. I've yet to have a bad interaction with any of them, and I've been coming here for years. The food is delicious and always cooked properly. Maybe I went on an off day, but when I went here it wasn't all that great. I got boneless spare ribs and chicken and broccoli which are my go-to Chinese staples. It tasted like they both had the same sauce on them. Which was this weird tasting BBQ-esc sauce. It tasted awful on the broccoli! The parking is also not good. Food is halfway decent. Their biggest attribute is the speed of delivery. Generally about 20 minutes or less. BUT be VERY wary of ordering over the phone with a credit card. They write all of your credit card info down on the top of the menu along with your address. This means that the delivery guy has access to your credit card info. We ordered from here last week and noticed that info on the menu but didn't think anything of it. A few days later SEVERAL charges appeared from various pizza places in the area (Milford, Shelton & Seymour) totalling about $50. When they were confronted with why would they write down the info instead of just typing it into the credit card machine, we were told they were too busy. Fortunately our bank reimbursed us, but a warning to others, do NOT give them your credit card info! They do not care about your confidential information's security. read more

The food was very good I ordered a shrimp lo mein but the driver was very rude when I say very rude I mean rude I gave him 16 dollars but the food a 14 I gave him 6 dollars in charge to be exact and he took my change at first he never wanted to give my money back and when I asked for it back he threw my change all over the floor and its night so I can't find any of my money and he said he is never delivering at my house again and that really upset me read more

Best take out chinese place in the area. I have going to Eastern Bistro for years. The food is always of the same great fresh quality and of the dozens if not hundreds of orders have they ever messed up on anything. Portion sizes for the price are excelent too. I can literaly have 5-6 meals off of a $15 dollar order. The place looks a little crudy and the parking is horrible (I suggest parking across the street at the laundromat.) Overall though they are quick, great quality for a take out place, and very reasonably priced. read more

I give Eastern an A. They make excellent fried rice any with any meat of your choice. Their General Tso shrimp is my favorite. Mei-fun is excellent. I've been getting delivery from them since they opened. The food is always very hot. I've tried everything on the menu, no disappointments. They get high ratings for health inspections.
