If you are looking for authentic, high-quality Chinese food, China House (also known as China House Garden) on Bank Street is the place to go. I've tried a lot of spots, but this is hands-down my new favorite. The Standout Dishes: * Spicy Beef and Broccoli with Garlic Sauce: This is a game-changer. The beef is incredibly tender, the broccoli is perfectly crisp, and that spicy garlic sauce has the perfect kick. It's easily the best version of this dish I've ever had. * Fantastic Lo Mein: You can tell they use fresh noodles. It's not greasy at all--just packed with flavor and the perfect texture. * Awesome Combination Plates: Their combos are such a great value. The portions are huge, and everything from the fried rice to the egg rolls that come with them is top-tier. The service is always friendly, and the food comes out hot and fresh every time. The orange chicken was tasty, and the pork fried rice was good, tasted fresh. On the other hand, my three other options weren't the best. I had gotten the crab ragoons and they tasted horrid, you could taste the oil it was fried with, making me to believe they may be using the same oil to fry everything without proper oil changes. The pan fried dumplings tasted like it had been cooked all the way through, it didn't have a pleasant taste. The eggroll tasted dry and I couldn't even finish them. I'm not one to usually throw away food, but after eating have of the crab ragoons, and a poor attempt at trying to finish the dumplings, I had to throw them away. If I ever bought from here again, I'd only buy a Dinner Combo w/Pork Fried Rice. No way would I trust their appetizer/fried options again.

They claim it's the best Chinese restaurant in the area, so I thought I'd give it a shot. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted promptly. I ordered the chicken wings and reached for my debit card, but it's cash only. Luckily, there's a bank next door, so I withdrew some money from the ATM. While waiting for my food, I noticed a steady stream of people coming and going. It took about fifteen minutes to get my wings, and I appreciate that they seem to cook their wings fresh. The wings were a good size, with five pieces on the plate. When I took a bite, I noticed the skin was crispy, and the seasoning was spot on. However, when I bit into the chicken, I could see the grease. The meat itself was tasty, but I wasn't a fan of the excess greasiness. The service was friendly, and despite how busy it was, it's clear that people really like the food here. I might pass on the chicken next time, or maybe I'll give them another shot on a different day.

Orange and Gerneral Tso's chicken is woody - hard and stringy. Pork Fried Rice has NO onions, peas or carrots and has only a few tiny bits of pork, so basically you're ordering yellow rice with a few tiny pieces of bean sprouts. YUCK! The white rice was ok. Pan Fried Dumplings were tiny, overfried wontons so hard they were inedible... one of us almost broke a tooth! We have had better food from cheap food carts! You will NOT receive crunchy noodles, sauces, utensils or napkins and don't even think of asking for chopsticks because the first time I did the BEAST behind the counter (the taller "man") berated me for asking! Which leads me to my next point... SERVICE: Both men taking orders at the counter are RUDE, unfriendly, and rabidly argumentative! They literally drive people away! One (the smaller man) is stone-faced, doesn't make eye contact and sneers at you and the taller one is MEAN! He argues, treats you like dirt (when he's not on a personal phone call and trying to ignore you) and one time he SHOUTED at my elderly mother because she politely asked to add something to our order! He should be ashamed of himself!!! RESTAURANT: We visit the small convenience store in this strip mall very often to buy Lottery tickets and in all these years we have never seen anyone go in or come out of Tung Hing. That should have been our clue to avoid this place like the plague but we decided to try it. First impression? Tons of boxes stacked up on both sides. The second you enter you feel like you're in a warehouse. The boxes are filled with orders to save them from using (and paying for) bags. The floor was filthy and as you know the front area of any restaurant is usually indicative of the cleanliness (or lack thereof) in the back area. Look up and you will see DUST on almost every visible surface! YUCK! Read the other reviews and you will see that the two males working the front counter are rude, NASTY and driving people away, even those of us who live closeby. You will also see this food is dishwater mediocre. There is no flavor in any of it and... Never,. not once did we ever receive a receipt! That's a red flag too. You're probably being overcharged. Try asking for one and I'll bet the creep will shout at you! Never go here! Eat anywhere else. You deserve decent food for your money, a clean restaurant and friendly service. F-
