Spent my brithday weekend in Houston, found this local spot that had good ratings for breakfast/brunch kind of dishes. Went at around 11, there was a 40 min wait for a table. They gave us a courtesy call when our table was ready. There were 8 in my party. The service was excellent! Our server was friendly, very attentive, accommodating, and patient. It wasn't long after placing our order that the food arrived. Everything was delicious....full with flavor. Chicken wasn't dry. Gravy was creamy. French toast wasn't soggy. Eggs were made perfect. Potatoes/hash browns weren't over cooked. Dishes were very filling and reasonably priced. The cinnamon toast crunch French Toast was my favorite. It had just the right amount of sweetness, no need for syrup. Great place to eat, worth the wait. read more

Our niece took us there to celebrate us buying a house, when we got there we were told there was a 25 min wait. We only waited like 10 mins. We ordered the Chilaquiles and the cheesecake waffles. The food was very tasty. The service was fast and friendly. The inside was comfy. read more

This place was definitely worth the 40 minute drive. But beware on the weekends there is always a 20 to 30 minute wait. However they do have plenty parking and benches in front on their establishment to sit while you wait. We ordered the French toast combo, and chicken fried chicken which were both cooked to perfection, priced very reasonably and very portioned so you definitely get your money worth. The customer service is great and they always send you with to go drinks if you like. If your ever looking for a good breakfast restaurant this place is definitely the place to go. read more

Three stars for quick service and taste. Walked in for a solo brunch and was seated promptly. The restaurant is spacious and has really cute southern decor. I ordered the Country Boy breakfast with eggs over medium and an iced coffee. I was served quickly and unfortunately didn't get to enjoy my meal as much as I would've liked. Although everything tasted great, my eggs were undercooked to my liking and the iced coffee was room temperature at best. (It also didn't come with the whipped cream the server offered me). Everything from the time we got here to the food service was on point. Wait wasn't long. Customer service was great. And the food was even better. Came out fast and exactly how we ordered it.
