Food was good but I hated working there. Manger was mean and made all the waitress cry cause he was a asshole. He only hires his own type of people.. I was the only black working there when I was there. I felt very out of place. He accused me of of taking 50$ only to remember that he gave it to one of the other women for a bonus.. The portions at this place are ginormous and the prices are very fair. All of the waitstaff is very courteous, attentive, and well trained. The owner/manager is always present and takes pride in his establishment and the community. It is a hidden gem! This is definitely my favorite place to eat breakfast. The food is fresh and always hearty portions. The pancakes are a must have they are delicious. The staff is friendly and super attentive. Alright...here goes my 100% honest review of my personal experience at this establishment. We arrived around 10am on a Sunday in an effort to beat the church rush. We should have been in church too, but we are working on it. Ok...back to the review. We waited in the car after putting our names on the list and it was a 25 minute wait. There are four benches in front for waiting, but they were occupied. There is standing room inside, but it was tight. We were seated at a booth and our server arrived promptly to greet us which was great. She took our drink orders and brought our drinks back before I could blink. She gave us a few more minutes to review the menu. She took our order and inputted our requests into what appeared to be and Ipod or Iphone...not sure. After sitting for awhile we noticed that patrons who arrived after us had received their meals. What the what???? So we asked our waitress what was going on and she assured us that the other diners had arrived before us. My husband was ready to leave at that point, but our waitress quickly returned and sincerely apologized as the order had not processed on her ipod. She put the order in and offered to make it up to us by paying for our meals herself. So, you know I work with teens and constantly explain that we all make mistakes, but you have to own your mistakes, learn from them, and continue to grow. She did that and I was impressed. Our food arrived and my huge omelette and hot pancakes were excellent. My husband had to smile and confess that his breakfast was actually very good. Our waitress was so sweet that we asked her to allow us to pay for our drinks as I really wanted to tip her. We tipped her and left quite full and I was happy with my leftovers. read more

Me and my son got here at 12 o'clock on a Sunday and it was packed. The owner said it would take 5 to 10 minutes and within that timeframe we were seated. We ordered our food and within a few minutes the server was bringing it to us. I was so impressed with how quick we were served. My son had the 2x2x2 and I had the French toast combo with eggs, bacon, hash browns and cinnamon crunch French toast. EVERYTHING was fantastic!!!! You MUST have the cinnamon crunch French toast!!!! Food was delicious and big portions. I had "The Works" omelette with hash browns and a coffee. Bill came out to about $13 so it's not the cheapest place around, but worth the price. Best pancakes EVER! Such a gem of a place in little ol Crosby. I have had breakfast and lunch and everything is delicious. Favorites are Philly steak sandwich and buffalo chicken sandwich and seasoned French fries are so good. Any breakfast combos are delicious. Eggs are always cooked perfectly. They have a decent menus but I really do not like the interior. Too much like a low budget joint. It been a while since I've been there like maybe a year but their burgers were okay and their pancakes were pretty big and fluffy. Personally if I were to get food from there again, I would just call ahead and take it home. read more

Nice place for Crosby, as we have no restaurants worth a damn other than crawfish shack and off the road. Food was tasty, service was fast and attentive; another rare site for a Crosby dining spot. I'll definitely come back just not that often as it isn't the healthiest food. I wish it didn't feel like Denny's with the booth setup but it's alright. At least the waitresses are nice and friendly unlike the grumpy geriatric smoker waitstaff of other breakfast diners. Nice job guys, thanks for bringing something decent to town! read more
