If I can get a whole rotisserie chicken at Costco for $5, then why does it cost $17 for 3 little tenders and 6 boneless wings? I understand that the restaurant industry is tough right now and ingredients/labor aren't cheap, but by virtue of the price alone I'm not sure if Wing Kingz will become a regular spot for me. Price aside, the flavor was phenomenal. The seasoning station is truly a thing of beauty. And the woman behind the counter was kind and courteous. All in all, a great spot for some great chicken. He then said he was too busy and would have someone else assist us. When another staff member came to the table, it was clear she had not been informed of the situation, as she asked how she could help and was equally unsure how to accommodate the allergy. As a result, my husband was unable to eat at all while the rest of us had dinner. It was very disappointing and concerning that such a significant allergy was not taken seriously by multiple staff members. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with food allergies. Despite appearing to be an upscale establishment, the lack of knowledge, communication, and willingness to verify ingredients made it clear that we were not a priority. We were left with the impression that they were simply too busy to handle allergy concerns safely.
