The market/restaurant itself isn't super big but they have a nice selection of seafood items for sale, both fresh and frozen. There are about 4 tables to sit down at. I ordered the lobster roll and the truffle fries. I forgot to ask for the lobster roll Connecticut style (which I usually prefer) when I ordered so the sandwich had cold lobster with a mayo type sauce on it as well as tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce and it was delicious! It tasted fresh and came with a good portion size. The truffle fries were also good and not too salty. The food was served pretty quickly as well. I will definitely be coming back here to try more of the menu!

1-Star Review Very…read moreDisappointing -- $22 for This? I ordered the lobster tail and crab plate for $22, and I was extremely disappointed when I received my food. Just look at the presentation. For a restaurant specializing in seafood, I expected much better. My biggest question is: Where is the lobster tail? What I received appeared to be a very small amount of lobster/crab meat, half an ear of corn, and a few pieces of potato. For $22, the portion and presentation simply did not match what I expected from a lobster tail and crab plate. I understand that seafood can be expensive, but if you're charging $22 for a meal, the customer should be able to clearly see what they paid for. This plate looked sparse and unappealing, and I left feeling like I did not receive good value for my money. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience at Mr. & Mrs. Crab. The portion, presentation, and value all need significant improvement.

The ambiance is chef's kiss and during the summer months I highly recommend sitting outside on the rooftop if the weather cooperates. The drinks were probably my favorite part of the experience. Everything we ordered was well made and the cocktail menu has plenty of options. The food was also very good. It's definitely a little pricier than some other spots, but the quality matches the price point. I ordered the shrimp and enjoyed it, but it packed a bit more heat than I was expecting. Unfortunately, we did have a badexperience during dinner. A random intoxicated guest came up to our table and touched my friend's face for absolutely no reason. It was rude, inappropriate, and completely uninvited. We were all pretty shocked and it definitely put a damper on the evening. What stood out to me was how the staff handled the situation. Our server was very apologetic, and the restaurant manager came over personally to check on us and apologize. She even comped my friend's drink, which I thought was incredibly kind and completely unnecessary but very much appreciated. At the end of the day, the actions of another guest were outside of the restaurant's control. What was in their control was how they responded, and I thought they handled the situation with professionalism and care. Great drinks, quality food, beautiful atmosphere, and a team that genuinely cares about its customers. I will definitely be back. 5/5 stars!
