I purchased the Gyro meal with Fries and a drink. The gyro meat was delicious and the fries were hot a crunchy. My partner ordered the beef burrito meal with fries and drink. The burrito was huge and full of ingredients. He said it was great and the burrito was so big he couldn't finish it all. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. I definitely will visit again. My favorite places to eat are the family owned dives, loved it here!

Wow! This place is good! I can't think of anything here that we ordered that I did not enjoy. We had (of all things) gyro meat on our pizza!!! Why is this not typical at all pizza joints?!?! So we had a pizza with gyro meat, a pita with gyro, a Chicago style dog, and a philly cheese steak sandwich. We washed all this down with baskets of fries and chili cheese fries. Each item one was great and exactly what you expect when you order food like this. It was happy, fatty, and oh so delicious! I loved it! The pizza was caked over with cheese and the gyro meat topping was beautifully done. I wouldn't be surprised if they cook it fresh right there in the back. I'm curious to find out if they can make a Wisconsin three cheese burger sandwich a la marchellonis which is in the same town. In fact we tried to get this wonderful pizza but they were closed all day and I was just soooo sad! So as dessert, I had a chicago dog which was booomb! It had green peppers, and all the fixins. Check out the picture because I don't recall what else was in it except for goodness and yum stuff. I was transfixed by the colors! It reminded me of that meal the lost boys imagined and then ate in the movie "Hook"! All those colors feeding me! As second dessert, I had half of the gyro pita thing which I fell in love with. I'm surprised there is now some Greek food in Pontiac!!! I hope they embrace it and open up to a wider variety of Cuisines in years to come! They had that tzatziki spread in it and it was topped with fresh veggies and a great meat/bread/veggie ratio! The Philly cheesesteak sammich was messy and delicious! I don't think I've ever had a neat Philly cheesesteak sandwich nor do I wish to. It hit the spot and fulfilled everything I needed third dessert to be! All this, and I killed a bunch of chili cheese fries for good measure and washed it down with a few refills of Diet Coke... yes diet... cuz I'm trying to watch my weight yo! Check out this grub and appreciate these photos!!! They slowed down my eating by several seconds!!!

It's been a while, in fact years since I have been to Hungry Boy's. I see they have pizza so here we go. In the words of El Prez... Alright Folks, Pizza review time. Hungry Boy's. Corner of N Ladd St and W Cleary St. I ordered a pick up tonight. Had to get some Gyro meat on it becahse I love pizza and I love gyros. The place wasn't too busy but there were three yahoo's in there too "bad a$$" to put on a mask for the nice gentleman working behind the counter. It is amazing to me how many people are too big of pu$$!3s to put one on for even a short amount of time. Anyway, the man behind the counter said he made a good one for me. Nice to see pride taken in preparing a meal. I think he may have been a Greek Man which is good when dealing with Gyro ingredients. The pizza smelled great riding shotgun and looked amazing when I opened up the box. Unfortunately that is where the goodness stopped. The crust was flavorless and hard, the sauce and toppings also lacked in flavor. I was shocked considering the toppings I had. The cheese was plentiful, that's for sure, but as the pizza cooled it made slices almost impossible to break apart. I wanted so much to like this pizza but just can't do it. Pizza gets a 2 star rating but I kicked it up a star because of the man at the counter.

As you can see, our kids thought it was finger licking good. First time here. On road trip. Have a huge selection of choices and value meals. All tasted great. Awesome fries. Lunch special 7 wings (really 14 bec wing with drummet) WITH fries and drink like $5.99. Half slab rib, fries, drink $8.99. Two "true" Chicago-style dogs with fries, drink $4.99. Family business. Food very tasty and seasoned well. Sit down or take-out. Casual. Fast. Very welcoming by owners.

Stopped in for a quick to go lunch, and they were pretty fast getting me out the door.the combo(Italian beef/sausage) sandwich was very good.I got it with sweet peppers and mozzarella on it.with a drink and fries it was a little over 10.00.they also have a buffet for 8 bucks which looked pretty good-if I'm ever in Pontiac again I'll be making a stop here.

Food is pretty good Chicago style. Specials aren't too badly priced either. They don't carry your normal sodas.

Never a disappointment. I use to live in Chicago & miss the food. When I get my cravings I always stop by for taste of nostalgia.

This place is ok. The DQ across the street was more crowded than this place at lunch time. Edible food, cheap prices, but nothing special.

We couldn't have picked a better spot. We were seated immediately and notice the place was filled with mainly locals. Our server stopped by right away to take our drink order and ask us if we had any questions. She was so nice, so friendly, offered great recommendations and was fun to talk to. Mr. Bee ordered the Monte Cristo Wrap and I tried the house made veggie burger. The food came out quickly and was nice and hot. The Monte Cristo Wrap was really quite good and had a lot of nice flavors and was seasoned well. My veggie burger was different but delicious. It was also seasoned well and I managed to eat every last bite and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered a side of Fried Mac and Cheese and it too was very different than what you would expect. The mac and cheese is not shaped into balls, battered and fried. They take their mac and cheese and smash it down on the grill to cook it. So good. It had lots of crispy bits on it. The food was fresh and really well cooked. The place is like an old fashioned diner and friendly service with a smile. The atmosphere was fun, and everyone seemed friendly and were enjoying their meals. We were full, but when our server came by and said we have fresh made pies, Mr. Bee jumped on that bandwagon. We got a piece of coconut cream pie to go. We stopped in the park in the middle of the square where there are a few benches and picnic tables. We enjoyed our pie, it was scrumptious while enjoying the beautiful sunny day.

A popular place for the local residents to gather. It's one of the many local bars and restaurants around here. This seems to be one of the better ones. Has the main dining area. While waiting for an order go check out the back with the gaming area to play slots. It's $2.50 for domestic beers. That's good. It's about $7 for appetizers. The Pretzel Bites are the best of these. Fluffy and comes with a dipping sauce, choice of beer cheese or something else. The rest of the menu features classics like breakfast including eggs, omelets, and toast, and lunch has things like burgers, fish, and pasta. For sure it's a place for locals as well as tourists looking for classic diners and grills. It's got a lot of various memorabilia. They're closed Sundays.

The place wasn't that busy when I arrived, and it looked just like I remembered. There were two employees working and I spoke with both. They were both very friendly and my pizza was ready as promised. The crust was about par for the course around here. Not much taste outside of flour. The sauce was decent, and the toppings were plentiful. The cheese is the type mozzarella that turns a bit rubbery, but I must admit, I like that.
