I got a side of giardiniera, it was heavenly. They have desserts but we were too full, cheesecake looks good!

Well we were in town and I was so excited to get the family on board to try this place that I hyped up and thought used to have good reviews. Bad move. From start to finish it was an expensive disappointment. It took forever for anyone to acknowledge us and there was a bartender that looked at us multiple times and continued to ignore us. The place is empty except couple at the bar, couple seated at a table on bar side, and a 3 top on restaurant side. After 15 minutes I walked up and asked the bartender if we are supposed to seat ourselves and she said no and said someone will seat you shortly. Someone eventually came and it took 3 business days to get food ordered. Ordered and when it finally came another 3 business days I was so disappointed. The serving sizes were all for a hamster and I think a hamster would have been disappointed in the lack of flavor. My daughter's mac and cheese / pasta was dry and she asked for an extra side of sauce and he said we couldn't do that. He came back from the kitchen and said the chef managed to get this much from the pan and it was 3 drops of sauce... he left and we never received drink refills or got checked on again. Took forever for the bill and finally got it and left. We got the bang bang shrimp for app Daughter got pasta or mac and cheese I got wings (sauces were grosssssss) Bf got a burger I think This was on May 17th 2026

Whilst waiting for what felt like was an hour i went to the mens bathroom which smelt like pee and had spiderwebs. I ordered the Slider Trio one of each meat chicken, beef, and brisket the brisket was the only good item. the chicken was way too breaded you might as well have called it a breadwhich, and the burger was lacking flavor. the waitress was nice but slow, also awaiting for my check felt like being on a busy highway and not moving at all for an hour. overall the place was disappointing and I wouldn't come back unless i was very desperate for a overpriced brisket slider. Ps. while waiting for my check there were only about two other tables with people.

Talked with - I believe one of the owners - she said it was just her and her husband running the place. The restaurant was quiet with just us and one other couple inside on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered two brisket sandwiches and an order of pulled pork nachos. The food was good, brisket was a little dry, but no real complaints. They had 3 sauce options you could put into to-go containers yourself to try out, we opted for the southern comfort I believe and it was good BBQ! Also a nice touch I saw is they sold farm fresh eggs. My only two critiques would be phone etiquette and inventorying expired product. We called ahead of time to make sure the restaurant was open with it being a holiday weekend. Once the phone was answered on the other end, it was silent for about 30 seconds then we were given just a "Hello?". We had to confirm we were calling Cherry Red Roasters instead of calling someone's personal phone. We were given sour cream I believe in a packet to go with our nachos, but the expiry date on the packet was 5/13/2025 when the date we dinned was 5/25/2025.
