RUN! As soon as we went in the door the floors were so slippery we almost fell multiple times. Bathrooms were dirty. Ordered food (a single combo no modifications and a chicken sandwich combo pickles only) to eat there and it took over 15 minutes to finally get our food. The burger was good, fries were okay, soda machine was FILTHY with syrup sprayed all over. Someone came in after us for a soda and when she went to the machine, her flavor was out (and the place was empty of people). Two guys were doing the cooking and there were two women there who just disappeared. When we finally got our food, one of the guys apologized. The worst part....was the chicken was RAW in the center and we just threw it away. Unacceptable. Also, the restaurant has half drank cups on a table that the one woman came over to drink from and then refilled it, got on her cell phone, and was making comments loudly or in her headphones about someone being rude. The best thing that could happen is the health department to shit this horrible place down IMO. We really should have walked out and just went somewhere else. Hoping we don't get sick. So we went to pontiac wendys it was clean enough. BUT when we went up to order the energy drink they said "sorry have to have a 16 year old with you" ok thats fine exept one of us were 17 almost 18. When we explained that to her she said no your not. Whatever thats fine so I got a normal soda then we got in our car with our food when looking inside the bag 1 of the burgers were gone. If you want food in pontiac illinois just go to burger king. Complete different story now. We ordered off doordash 2 medium frys 2 burgers and 2 drinks. Went here on a long drive from Texas. Most Wendy's we go to are dirty and old. Food is subpar. This one was a surprise. Greeted by a sweet manager and a real practical joker. Pleasant staff. Food was hot and delicious. Fries were crispy and salted perfectly. Dining room was a bit generic but clean and tables weren't beat up and old. All in all a good find! read more

Went through drive thru, ordered 2 doubles plain with cheese. Only took 60 seconds to make my order. When I opened the foil wrap, the doubles were cold, hard, dry and BURNT. I absolutely love Wendy's. However, upon a trip home from Chicago I stopped here for lunch. I ordered what I normally get (#1) and got served a patty that looked like it was over a day old. Seriously dried out. Looked dark. Cheese was nearly melted into the bun. I was so hungry but no way would eat this (unfortunately tried a bite, but just as quickly had to spit it out). My wife's burger looked just about as badly. By the time we had gotten to eating we were already 15 miles down the interstate. I have worked fast food in the past, and this food should not have been served...even an hour ago. I'm guessing they have warmers with timers and obviously this one had went over many times. This is probably one of the worst Wendy's we have been to. We ordered and the guy seemed confused. We ordered and had to wait about 10 minutes ore more for a to go order. Th restaurant, years ago had experienced major storm damage years ago, but it does not look like they put any money back into the interior. The carpet was gross and dirty. The chair backs had been stained with where it looked like years of people putting their hands on the chairs. There was food everywhere on the floor. The Coke machine is cool, but it looked like it had not been wiped down in a long time. When we did get our food, the food and especially the fries were pretty cold. As long as we waited, our food should have been hot. They basically need to take down this restaurant and start over. There also was nothing on the walls and not any 'atmosphere' at all. They told us before we had ordered that they were out of ice but they could still give us sodas. That should have been our red flag. We bought ice from the gas station next door to pour our sodas in. The warm sodas however were also completely flat. The fries were burnt but cold and tasted like they were from the day before. The burgers matched the fries. Not even warm. Complete disappointment. Hungry during our road trip back home we stopped in for a quick bite. so strange to be at a Wendy's in these parts - it's so desolate. Staff was really friendly. At one point we were the only customers in there, together with a giant inflatable chicken. The one employee was just leaning on the counter- it appeared he was going on break as he was just eating fries at the register area. This place is FILTHY! Everything is so sticky from the bathroom stall doors to the floor of the dining area. The soda machine has soda spilled all over it. It looked like nobody had wiped it off all day. The food of course tasted like any Wendy's would but I seen one of the employees drop a fry on the counter and throw it back into my bag with her bare hands. They also have a divider in front of the stove so you can't see them make anything. I've never seen a Wendy's where you were blocked from seeing them prepare your food. I definitely do not think this place is sanitary or even worth stopping at unless you have no other choice. read more
