Deliciousness - 5/5 Happiness - 4.5/5…read more This is a nicely hidden dessert and coffee gem tucked into this large Woodbridge shopping center. Step inside and you'll see it's quite Gram-able (or is it "Insta-tastic"). In other words, it's gorgeously decorated. They have a wide array of sweet treats, almost all of them oversized. My kids have enjoyed their "dirt" sundaes and their ice cream heaped upon belgian waffles. Other non-ice cream treats include tiramisu and cakes imported from Italy, mochi balls, coffee drinks, smoothies, and yes Harry Potter geeks - even some Butterbeer. The service is always OK. They are patient as you cut through the giant menu, and they always make things delicious! But they aren't exactly outgoing either. I highly recommend Miki. It tastes great, and there's something for everyone.

They have several tables with chairs and would be good for groups or casual hang-outs. Their menu is quite diverse with a lot of options for fruit teas, milk teas, classic teas and ice cream flavors. For this particular visit, I tried a pineapple green tea. It wasn't the best, but it wasn't terrible either. It was refreshing enough. They might be worth a try for others. I wouldn't mind going back to try other items on their menu.

We stopped at Coco Bay Kitchen & Tea House while heading home from Richmond. We were curious to see…read morewhat Waldorf had to offer when it came to Vietnamese food, and this little spot caught our attention. We ordered a mango peach smoothie with peach popping bubbles, garlic noodles, pineapple skewers, and a few other items. Our total came to just under $60. The atmosphere is casual, and I like that the restaurant is part of a small shopping area, giving it more of a neighborhood hangout feel. Unfortunately, the food was a mixed bag for us. The garlic noodles were disappointing. I've had some outstanding garlic noodles before--especially the ones we first discovered in California--and these just didn't come close in flavor. The pineapple skewers were better. They had a nice combination of pineapple and vegetables, although there was more vegetable than meat, with only a few pieces of meat on each skewer. I would order them again, but I wouldn't make a special trip to Waldorf specifically for them. We didn't try the pho or enough of the menu to give a complete review, so I'm definitely leaving room for the possibility that there are some hidden gems we missed. Overall, our experience was just okay--nothing bad enough to keep us from trying it again, but nothing that made us say, "We have to come back." If you've been to Coco Bay, I'd love to know what you recommend. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things!

I was really excited to try the brown sugar latte because I had an incredible Vietnamese coffee while visiting Tennessee. Unfortunately, this one was a letdown. It tasted mostly like milk and syrup, with very little coffee flavor, and it was overwhelmingly sweet. I was disappointed because I had such high expectations. I also noticed they have a "no refunds" policy posted, so I didn't bother taking it back. Even though the drink wasn't for me, I'd still be willing to return to try their pho, as I've heard good things about it. It just won't be anytime soon.

Food/Drinks: I got the Brulee Matcha Slush with Oreo and honey boba (50%) sweetness, regular size…read more I have a sweet tooth and thought that I probably should have tried 75%. The drink was nice overall, the honey boba didn't taste like honey, just regular tapioca. The flavor of the drink was enjoyable with a decent amount of crushed Oreo. I got through the drink much faster than I thought so I should try a large next time. Service: There were a couple people there. Service was fine, they seemed nice and they communicated professionally. They made the drink quickly, but I was also the only one there. Ambiance: I liked the couch area, it would be a pretty good spot to study. The couch material isn't the best for sitting for hours and the only outlet I saw on that side was right behind the couch and the lamp plug that was there was bent badly and the couch slides on the floor easily so you'd need to be careful. The music was at a good level if you need ambient noise to help you drown out distractions. The wood bench seating area has 2-3 outlets so if you need to lock in you can do so with some pretty good drinks. Value: It's near my house and if I needed to a place to study for a few hours, this would be a decent place. There was a service charge that I noticed before I paid in addition to the drink and tip. So for a regular drink, it was about $9 I think for the drink. I think it's a little high, but I don't know their margins so just my opinion.

Representing 2023 & 2024 in alphabet series, K is for Komma Tea. I didn't have a K place for 2024…read morethat I hadn't reviewed, but I visited the Komma Tea at Potomac Mills twice. Both times I had 5-star Komma Tea & 5-star Pokerea (see my Pokerea Yelp review from June 12, 2025) in the food court for dinner. Komma Tea is not in the food court, a bit of a walk in this big mall, but worth it! There are a couple of locations, but I went to the one with a bit of an inside area with kiosks for ordering. October 2023: The first time I tried Komma Tea was on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. I had work travel to Caroline County, VA. On the way back I got a movie on my AMC A-List at AMC Potomac Mills, then walked around the mall & debated what I was going to eat for dinner, there was still traffic getting back to MD and would've been 9 before getting home, and looked at the food court and decided to try the Poke place, Pokerea, but went to Komma Tea beforehand. They were efficient as I watched them make the drink. This is the best bubble tea I've had in the DC area, which is funny because Pokerea in the food court was the best Poke I've had in the DC area! In summary, Potomac Mills is great! September 2024: Coincidentally, the other time I visited was a Wednesday too. My girlfriend & I were traveling back from Myrtle Beach, SC on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. We got to the mall in time to eat dinner before the movie we wanted to see with a little bit of time to spare to walk around the mall in addition to simply eating. I told her how great Komma Tea & Pokerea was. Everything was just as great as I remembered, and she thought both were great too. If I'm back down that direction, I'd definitely be back at Komma Tea.

I did 75% sweetness and that was just right for me. I feel like anything more would've been way too sweet. The ordering process is self-serve through a kiosk. You pick your drink, add boba, adjust the sweetness -- the usual. At checkout, it even prompts you to leave a tip, which I thought was a little odd considering there's no real interaction happening at that point. Speaking of interaction... the customer service was seriously lacking by 1000. There was a young lady working when I came in. She clearly saw me standing there at the kiosk, but didn't say a word. I had to speak to her twice before she finally responded, and when she did, she looked at me like I was the problem. Definitely not the warmest experience. The drink came out fast, but a heads up -- it's easy to accidentally skip the boba option on the screen. It's not super obvious, so pay attention if that's a must-have for you. Overall, the drink was good, but don't expect much in the way of customer service.
