Step inside and you'll see it's quite Gram-able (or is it "Insta-tastic"). In other words, it's gorgeously decorated. They have a wide array of sweet treats, almost all of them oversized. My kids have enjoyed their "dirt" sundaes and their ice cream heaped upon belgian waffles. Other non-ice cream treats include tiramisu and cakes imported from Italy, mochi balls, coffee drinks, smoothies, and yes Harry Potter geeks - even some Butterbeer. The service is always OK. They are patient as you cut through the giant menu, and they always make things delicious! But they aren't exactly outgoing either. I highly recommend Miki. Cafe Miki is a cute little boba tea shop. Their decor choice is very tropical-like and sorta beach-y to me. When I stopped by, it was empty, so my wait wasn't very long. They have several tables with chairs and would be good for groups or casual hang-outs. Their menu is quite diverse with a lot of options for fruit teas, milk teas, classic teas and ice cream flavors. For this particular visit, I tried a pineapple green tea. It wasn't the best, but it wasn't terrible either. It was refreshing enough. They might be worth a try for others. Cafe Miki has such a nice, relaxing ambiance. Something about the decor took me back to when I was in Bangkok ..it has that cozy, modern-Asian vibe. It took the lady cashier 3 whole minutes to even acknowledge us standing there-- even though she looked at us the minute we walked in. she was quiet and seemed like she hated her job so thats why I didn't give more than 3. I had a pleasant experience at Cafe Miki. I wanted to grab some boba tea after dinner and came across this place. There is plenty of parking because this place is located in a shopping plaza. Inside it is absolutely beautiful! In my opinion they could add more tables and chairs. Service here is pretty decent. My party and I ordered a variety of items. We ordered: - Mango creme frappe - Thai tea frappe with oreo - Iced brown sugar latte - Pineapple lychee tea - Thai tea and mint chocolate chip ice cream Everything tasted great! The ice cream is a tiny bit on the icy side. The Thai tea and mango creme frappe were so good! The pineapple lychee tastes great because it is not overwhelmingly sweet. The iced brown sugar latte has more coffee than brown sugar. If you like sweet treats definitely order the Thai tea or mango creme frappe. If you're into coffee the iced brown sugar latte is great because it is more bitter and not sweet. The pineapple lychee is a good balance of sweet and tartness. I love this place and have always got bubble tea from here. However this time was kind of disappointed. I was drinking the tea and I felt something in my throat which made me cough terribly. After coughing non stop for 30-40 seconds I cough out pieces of red papers as you can see in the tea. I was provided a green tea that was extremely sweet. I went back and explained to her I cannot have sugar, stevia, syrup, honey, or any sort of sweetener and would like a plain unaltered tea. I was then provided an unflavored green tea. However that tea had froth in it so I am unsure if it was plain fresh brewed tea leaves or if it had additives/was some sort of powder. The barista was very nice and patient with making the new drinks and showed zero frustration. She was very professional and nice. Ambiance is nice. Tasteful color palette, good seating, and chargers for electronics. The accommodations are comparable to Starbucks. The service is decent; nothing special here but nothing bad. The food: I had ordered a single cup of hot jasmine tea and it resulted in bone quaking diarrhea within an hour... and I only drank half a cup. The stomach pain was excruciating. I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't have issues like this. I find it extremely suspicious since there is no other correlation in terms of diet, which leads me to believe the quality control of the drinks here is less than sub-par. Sooo excited we finally have a spot like this in the area!!! They have an extensive menu offering an array of ice creams, milk teas, bubble teas, fruit teas, and more. They will eventually start serving coffee and smoothie drinks as well which is a welcome addition. My craving for ice cream is how we ended up here and there was no place I would have rather of gone!! The interior is adorbs and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Undecided on what to get, I appreciated the fact that they offered without asking samples so you could decide what you wanted. We went with a scoop of Vanilla Madagascar Bourbon in a Red Velvet cone and a scoop of Cookies and Cream and a scoop of Strawberry in a Midnight Vanilla cone. The ice cream is amazing and tastes exactly like the flavor!!! And the cone, the cone though, you'd be doing yourself and your scoops of ice cream an injustice if you do not try one of these babies. This place is located inside the Staples plaza right beside Bonchon. It's a very cute modern looking spot that you can find all types of decadent concoctions of your wildest dreams. Now me being a novice in this world of delectable teas and coffees I just got what was on the board: a medium green milk tea with added brown sugar Boba pearls. Now this was about $5 and mostly filled with ice. I didn't know you can customize it but I will attempt to do that (maybe) on my next run up there. A place like this is definitely just for a treat because just like people are in love of Dunkin Donuts and that infamous Starbucks it can start to get pricey. So for me I would just come back every now and then when I want something cold and interesting to try. They also have ice cream and very unique assortment of flavor cones to choose from which I will give a try as well. Yesterday I wanted to try hot chikn kitchen and I drove the wrong way in the shopping center and happened to see the flower wall of this place while driving by, so we decided after lunch we'd come here. We never heard of it before but as soon as we walked in we liked how open the establishment was, and even though it was a Saturday we noticed a few people sat to dine in but most people would order and leave or pickup mobile orders. Most drinks are available in your choice of hot or iced. I ordered a rose latte (iced) and I wanted brown sugar boba but I think they just didn't hear me bc it wasn't in the receipt, it was still really good without it tho and it had the cutest little pink rose petals in it and didn't taste artificial (it was light, floral and really nice tbh). My friend got the iced chai tea with honey boba which was refreshing and nice as well. We sat down to enjoy the flower wall decor, beautiful floral ceiling decor, the plants on the hanging shelves on the wall and near the window. There's not a lot of seating, maybe about 16-18 seats and wood bar seating against the wall so that's probably why most people pickup. It was a nice experience and I'm glad we stumbled upon it. A kind Asian lady came to ask every customer about how their drinks were, and specific feedback on the level of chai, rose, coffee, hint of anything or how they could make it better. That's nice to see because it shows they really care. At the order counter, they have a glass case of little slices of cake, and tins of gelato, but the cakes just look prepackaged and we didn't try the gelato since we had just had a big lunch. This owner is ripping people off. They don't carry change purposely but they do have bills for change. So if you pay with cash and are due back .75 or even .9, they say they have a sign that says they don't have more than $20 change so they don't need to give you back the change. Its principle, it's wrong, and it can't be legal. i sent my daughter to get the drink and she didn't know any better. This is cheating kids and bad business practice. 7/14/21 Icecream!, you scream, Who doesn't want something cold to eat or drink? After spending a few hours in Potomac Mills Mall, the soup from Olive Garden in Woodbridge  wore down and I felt the need get dessert.   Icecream did come to mind, but I decided get a slushie instead. I went with the Passionfruit Slushie.  This Passionfruit Slushie was good, but it is the first slushie that had the seeds in it.  Not sure if I like that, but I drank it all the same.   This cafe really did decorate the place.  I saw people smiling and laughing.  Something that has been seen for a while without a mask.  Things we take for granted..., yet it felt great to see things like this.     The lines for this business were in waves of different sizes.  We hit a smaller wave so the wait time wasn't to long. Still, you should know that if you eat at this restuarant, the bathrooms are not available clients/guests at this time. Maybe this will change in two months or later on, but I can't say for sure. read more

Me and some friends wanted some dessert after lunch and I heard this place was good. You come into the shop and you can see they have four full screens of ice cream and drink options. It was hard to decide but we all got ice cream. They have flavored cones that rotate (I think) so I had to try the birthday cake cone with a scoop of birthday cake cookie dough. My friends got the Vietnamese coffee and the Madagascar bourbon vanilla, both were super good based on what I tried. The staff was super friendly and helped us pick out what to get. The ice cream was creamy and mine had a lot of chunks of cookie dough in it. The cone tasted exactly like birthday cake and went really well with my ice cream. I also got a mango dragon fruit lemonade with honey boba to go for my girlfriend. It was a little sweet for my taste but I didn't know they did sugar levels until after. Loved this cafe! They have a lot of options and flavor combinations, so I decided to check out the menu ahead of time. I went with a strawberry mango slush with lychee jelly and cheese foam. I've never heard of cheese foam before (it does cost an extra $1) but decided to try it. I thought it paired really well with the slushie.
