To note the older gal serving must have been a manager, it's possible her serving standards are low to cut costs. Ordered a bowl- not sure why they would give you 3 options for hummus but you'll need it based on the insanely small portions they serve you. I could NOT believe how tiny of a pinch they provided of the sides and protein. We ordered the steak which was also $1.50 extra. When I tell you she pinched 3 pieces of tiny steak... I could not believe it. Meat also was very oily and salty. Our bowls were not even half filled even with all the salads I added. Did not have chicken shawarma, falafels, wraps and Mushrooms. Thought that's why they were trying to save the steak by serving tiny portions but after reading reviews it seems to be common practice. We ordered two bowls, the falafel was fresh and tasted satisfactory but the chicken shawarma didn't taste good and felt rubbery. The hummus and dressing offerings made the bowl taste a bit better. We shared a pita since we weren't too hungry and wanted to give this place a go. From first glance, the concept of the place seems to be fast casual restaurant. However, thats not the reality. There was only 1 person working in the front that made the order and also rang people up. Though I'm puzzled that there are at least 2 people back of house not helping out the front of house person. We waited 10mins just to start giving her our order. The work station is messy - doesn't look like they have a habit of cleaning up as they go with each order. Customer service was ok. The gal walked us through how the ordering system was to start. It felt like it took at least 3-4min for her to warm up the pita, which isn't great since we already had to wait 10min to be greeted (keep in mind that the place was not at all busy). She went on to explain to us that they don't have a bunch of items on the menu. When we asked how long the falafel would take (they are made to order per the menu), we were told that they would take 30mins. Baffled by the wait time, we opted for a chicken shawarma. I was genuinely surprised by the taste! Chicken shawarma and hummus was flavorful. Nicely balanced by the fresh veggies and tzatziki sauce. Pita bread was stale and not warmed through sadly. All in all, I hope the place can be better managed. I'm keen to give this another go in the future. I'd genuinely root for them if they can tighten operations. read more

We went yesterday for the first time and enjoyed the restaurant. There is free parking in the Courtyard Hotel lot which is nice. It's fun to build your own pita, wrap or bowl although it is very time-consuming and the customers have to wait a long time as each person must decide what to add, while asking lots of questions about the items available. In a society where tipping the service industry is such a hot topic, they have to do much better. There are too many other food options for this level of service to survive. I placed an online order and felt generous enough to tip even though I was just picking up a takeout order. I guess I thought they would do better on my food. I got a text notice 30 minutes later that my order was ready for pickup and I happened to be walking in at that same moment. Walking into an empty restaurant where the employee said he was just starting to make my order. Why did I order ahead? Why did I bother with a tip. A few minutes later he told me the premium topping I ordered and paid extra for was not actually available. I was not offered a refund for this topping. I finally left with my order 40 minutes after placing it. I found a nice spot to eat and opened the bag to see the utensils and napkins I had requested were not in the bag. The food was okay, but not at all what I ordered. It was very messy and I wish I had my utensils. It was a nice try I guess, but I won't be back. As someone who works in this area, it's great to have another good place around for lunch. I had come the second day they were open and it was a bit chaotic but they've since got things running smoothly. We had a line of 15 people and they handled it quickly and efficiently. The food is good, has great variety, and sizable portions. Love the variety of vegetables as well. Presentation is great as shown below. This isn't normally something you see in fast food restaurants. Staff and manager are excellent. They are doing well keeping it clean. My only gripe is make double the amount of chicken shawarma. Customer Service is not top priority! I went in today to order food at your Bellevue WA location at 11:13am (doors opened at 11:00am), I was informed by a at the front counter that it will be a long time before they can take my order because they have a large order, they were processing. I noticed that there were about 7 persons working behind the counter. When I asked if someone could take my order the person said, "Sorry I am just telling you how it is and being up front with you". I did say that its poor customer service as I am standing there wanting to order. He then said to me "That's the way it is" and then ignored me at that point (because he was busy doing the large order and too busy to work with me). I decide to walk about as I had already walked all the way to your establishment on my work hour to enjoy your food. I was extremely disappointed that me as a paying customer standing there at the counter was pushed aside as a sign that I didn't count, and the large order was more important. My order would have been a quick order maybe 5 minutes out of 1 person's time to help me. I was there in person and was not important. I will be looking for a way to post some sort of review about this on the internet that the customer service is not a priority for your company. read more

The chicken and falafel are great, as is the harrisa hummus and feta dip. The pita chips are really awesome and worth checking out at least once.
