Firstly, I want to say that Lois is such a sweet lady. Upon entering the establishment, she greeted me and did not mind answering questions and explaining all of the dessert options that she offers. The pies were great! I am very picky about pecan pie; however, Lois' recipe did not disappoint. I would be apt to buying whole pies from her around the holidays or during any group dinners that I attend. Lois' spirit alone is enough for me to return here. She insisted on giving me slices of pie for free as a taste test, a gesture that I will never forget. Please patronize this place, y'all. You won't regret it.

Humble pie is a perfect alternative to grocery store bakery goods. They are located just across the parking lot from the Humble post office. Humble Pie is a bakery and only a bakery. Although they do sell some sandwiches, it's obvious that their focus is on making great pies. Honestly speaking I did not know they were there until I saw a review in Yelp. I tried the pecan and buttermilk pies. They were both big - 9 inches in diameter and delicious. These are mostly pies made to order or made just hours before you pick up. They do mostly email, text and call in business. Both pies were rich and not overly sweet. They were delicious and flavorful and thoroughly different than what you would get in the grocery stores. Expect to pay anywhere from $16-$20 for a pie.

This place has the best pies I've ever had! I love you Grandma, but this place has you beat. I found this place during quarantine, making it my COVID silver lining. I've had the pecan, key lime, lemon cream, and strawberry cream; every single one was ridiculously delicious. And I wear the 10 pounds I've gained from this place proudly!! If you haven't had a chance to try this place, you are missing out. If you read this review, and you STILL aren't considering stopping by to get a pie or two, then you need to speak to a professional about the poor decisions you make in life. Humble Pies is the gold standard for service and flavor, and I can't believe it took me this long to find them. But I'm glad I did!!

All I wanted for Mother's Day was a delicious pie. Humble Pies did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the whipped cream topping for the simple fact that it was not too sweet. My husband picked up and said the owners were welcoming and friendly. I can't wait to go back and try another--I'm thinking chocolate.

Very nice lady who bakes the pies. Go early before she sells out! She sold the last pie before we arrived.

I'm so glad I did! When I walked in, it was pretty quiet, and I was immediately greeted very warmly. The owner was there and shared with me that they have actually been in the area for several years. The shop itself is a really nice little bakery with so many different sweets and desserts to choose from. I was surprised to also see that they offer lunch items like sandwiches, including chicken salad, along with a few other savory options. Of course, I came for something sweet! They had cookies, brownies, cupcakes, peach cobbler, apple cobbler, and so many other desserts, but I decided to try the mini sweet potato pie. It was EXCELLENT! What stood out to me the most was the texture of the sweet potato filling. It was incredibly smooth, creamy, and had such a delicious flavor. That little pie was so good, and it definitely made me want to come back and try more of their desserts. I love finding local places like this, especially ones that have been right in the community and somehow slipped under my radar. I will definitely be back to try the cobblers and some of their other goodies. Thank you for such a warm welcome and a great first experience. 10/10 recommend Cynthia's Kitchen!

The shop was clean, pretty, and welcoming, with a soft pink, elegant atmosphere, and the staff was kind and patient when I asked questions. The selection was great: flan, macarons, tiramisu, Dubai chocolate brownies, cookies, cakes, rice pudding, and more. The shop was clean, pretty, and welcoming, and the staff was kind and patient when I asked questions. The strawberry cupcake was perfectly balanced, not too sweet. The Biscoff cookie actually tasted like Biscoff and had a great soft/crunchy texture with warm spice notes. The rice pudding was also really good; I personally would've liked the rice a little softer, but I still finished it. I paid around $30 for four items, which felt fair for the quality. Overall, this is one of the few dessert places I've tried recently where the sweets actually delivered. I'll definitely be back to try the cakes. Perfect for a nice treat for a loved one. The staff were so welcoming and incredibly sweet. They also gave us recommendations on what we should order based off of their personal favorites and their best sellers. Arriving around lunchtime on a weekday, I had the place to myself which allowed me a unique opportunity to take the place in. That being said, this spot is not overly French cafe themed, but instead a classic suburban strip mall spot with nods to the French peppered throughout the menu and decor. The booth area is well-designed, the spot was clean and the table touched by light so after a great experience chatting with the cashier I was crossing my fingers, hoping the food matched the vibe. I had a crepe Mexicana (because who has ever heard of that?!), a croque monsieur with tomato soup, and a dessert crepe because y'all know I always save room for dessert. It took a minute to be prepared, but I'm willing to wait for a fresh made meal. Everything, was delicious. Crepe texture was on point, and each crepe was stuffed to the Gods.
