Music and crowd vibe is good BUT drinks are horrible. I ordered a J.W black and it was watered-down, tasted horrible, i told bartender and she gave me Jack Daniels!instead with no refund. I marginally recommend this place, the mediocre drinks are a real a downer for me. So if you compare this place to other clubs you will probably be disappointed. There's nothing fancy to this place at all. It's a little hole in the wall with two rooms, and 2 bars. To me it's pretty clean and the bathrooms are pretty clean when we go. The drinks are reasonable. Not too much eye candy either. Cover charge $5 from 9-9:30. After that its 10. Too pricey in my honest opinion. That being said I still really like this place. The 80s music is great and really fun to dance to and if you do get tired they have ample seating. I LOVE 80'S!!!! Went on a night that Richard Blade DJ'ed and it was awesome. Been there a few times ever since Reservations were free and came with glow goodies. Very chill environment (my kind of scene) and the music was banging. There are two rooms and depending what night you go, they play different types of music. The front rooms is strictly 80'S. The back room will play various music and has a pool table...get there early enough and you might be able to enjoy a few rounds before the crowd builds. I will definately be back! =) read more

I Love this place... Its grimy, has great music and a good crowd. I ve been going there for years and I always have a great time, the crowd is always easy going. girls are never stuck up, they atleast give you a convo. Remind me to never return!!! Thankfully my friends had warned me about the cash only policy & the $10 cover charge. While the female bartenders were real sweet, it was the kitchen we had an issue with. The trio platter we ordered tasted awful; the chips for our nachos were stale. When I told the waitress she said that couldn't be since they had just opened the bag so she sent the cook over who informed us that she had just deep fried the chips & that's why they tasted that way. I'm sorry but chips, especially deep fried ones are supposed to be crunchy, not chewy or hard to break apart. She took the platter away & returned with it 2 min later to inform us we'd get a new one. WHY WOULD WE WANT THE STALE ONES?! When the waiter returns with our food, it's not the trio platter which we paid $10 for, no, it's nachos, which are $7. Yet we got no change. We dared order another drink and for some reason we're charged an extra $1. No explanation. All this while the DJ in the front room apparently was learning how to play music. Loud, pitchy noises in the middle of the songs, songs that didn't blend well and dead air between songs. Talk about terrible. Definitely not coming back. Should have stayed closed. read more

Here NOW! We've been here since they opened celebrating my Sunshine's birthday; this place is VERY COOL (my personal opinion). The music is outstanding and the staff is pretty close behind. It's divey but that's cool too. Drinks are reasonably priced and the music is varied and on point. I grew up with this music but was never much into it until now. The staff is very attentive, sometimes too much, but that's cool too. We'll DEFINITELY come back. Good music for dancing and just having a real good time. I went here on 8/7/10 for a girlfriend's birthday celebration. We found this place on the internet and thought it would be fun. Well let's just say that the website is very misleading. This is nothing like what we looked up. There were no go gos. This place is a little run down, hole in the wall. We drove past it because the place doesn't even look like a club. We parked and had to walk up to the front entrance to get in. The person who checked our ID's wasn't very friendly. The woman at the front tried charging us $10 for the cover even though we were there at 9:33pm. It took us a second to get past the grouch in front checking the ID's. If you ask me I don't think they should be charging a cover for a dive. We reserved a couple tables and were asked to get there early because it would get super packed. The website said that it was a Depeche Mode and Morrissey tribute night. It also said that there would be a tribute band. Lies I tell you. We got there and there was only one couple there. Whole place was empty! No band. The bartender was super old but cool. The waitress was pretty friendly. Whole staff was older. And i'm talking bout 40 plus. People didn't start showing up until 11:30 ish midnight. We ordered food to kill some time. Food was ok. Just got the sampler plates. Drinks were horrible! Word of advice do not order anything with more than two ingredients! I first ordered a cranberry vodka. I taste it and it didn't even taste like there was alcohol in it. I then started feeling it over half way through. The cups are slightly larger than usual so the alcohol content was right but there was more juice. Then my friend oreded a cactus cooler shot. She got tequila and something else in it. The cactus cooler does not have tequila in it at all! It was really gross. So next drink was red bull vodka... I don't know how the hell he messed that up but he did. So stick to the simple stuff and beer guys. At least he was nice about my friend going up for a bunch of refills on water. First room that you walk into doesn't really get packed. It was dead most of the night. Everyone was in the back room. It's super loud in there. We danced the night away in there until close to closing. Everytime we left that room our ears were ringing. It was super loud in there for such a tiny room. They have pool tables in there too. The smoking section was dead. It was a pretty big area and right next to the back room so you could still hear the music pretty loud. It was nice chilling out there. Oh and you can bring your drinks out there! Fyi there are no chairs back there. I had a blast. I LOVE 80's MUSIC! We all went dressed up in 80's even. It was super fun. If it weren't for my awesome friends though I'm not so sure I'd go back. It isn't really the best of places to go. What made it was the music. P.S. I hope you don't have to use the restroom here because it is seriously the WORST restroom I have ever been in. I mean I've been in rest stop restrooms cleaner than that one! The stalls were super tiny literally my knees were an inch away from touching the doors. Gross. And the doors don't even lock all the way. No hook to hang your purse, not that you'd want to in there anyway. The sink had rust stains all around it. Counters were filthy. All I have to say is enter at your own risk! I am only giving this place three stars because of the music and staff was somewhat friendly. There has to be a better 80's club around here though! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I hate paying cover charges .... if I'm coming to you than you should be happy I chose your bar/club . Don't charge me because im going to spend money on drinks anyway. $13 for 2 bottles of beer. Recently attended this place with friends for a birthday party. Very disappointed with the place. The place smells moldy, A/C in the back room didn't work. It was an oven back there dancing. The old lady serving drinks gave you 99% spirits 1% alcohol. She pours in a manner to trick you. I really wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I wanted to give this place another star but too many negatives to over come. First off this dive bar/dance club has no parking on property because the Apts upstairs probably take most of it. The door man was typically rude for an upscale place but seemed aggressive for this place. CASH only at door and bar with atm fees inside if you happen to be a cashless soul. Food would be better if they order it from the Jack in the box where you are forced to park near. Beer and mixed drinks are reasonable. The dj is decent and you have a choice of a shabby front lounge dance area or a small room in back with different music then front area. Floors and bathrooms are dirty. The hallway joining both areas is a FORCED merge near bathrooms that allows for close encounters with your fellow patrons. If your looking to dance it's adequate but don't expect any extras typical of better locale like Pasadena or Long Beach. It seems that there is a lack of decent dance clubs in general vicinity that allows this place to survive. Staff seems efficient but old like the popcorn ceilings. read more

I came here a long while back just for a night out to dance. What better to dance to than 80's music?? This place was quite small but very cozy. There is a mixture of 80's English and Spanish hits. The only perk was that they kept on repeating most songs. We heard the song "Two of Hearts" about 5 times! Great song, but very repetitive. They have two dance floors and a great ambience here as well. As far as the location goes, it looks almost as if it near an abandoned lot. Otherwise, great place to dance the night away. read more

Two rooms spinning 80's Britpop, new wave, goth, darkwave...This place is cool cause one doesn't have to arrive trying to be the hottest chick or dude in the place. 80's music, Spanish rock, two separate rooms with two separate bars, 10 dollar cover and beer about 5 while mixed drinks are around 7. There's nothing really great about this place but it is fun every time i come. The second room gets much more packed around 12, when they start playing better music (before 12 they were playing Nirvana and Nine inch nails, wtf) than the first room. Be warned that the second room can get very hot, especially after dancing, good thing they have a smoking area you can go to for fresh air. A huge downside to this place is that they close at 1:30, literally on the dot. That's really lame considering it really only picks up at 12 with the music. Even though theres great music, the dance floors in both rooms were very small. It was suppose to be 80's night and everyone looked as if they were going to a funeral. More of a young crowd here. While this is my favorite dive bar/80's club - two rooms of great music on a Saturday night - the clientele lately is sub par. I'm not talking about everyone - just that particular little weasel who stole my sweater and my BF's jacket. I caught him last week trying to be sneaky, sitting at the edge of the dance floor, wrapping his arms around my sweater as if he owned it. Luckily, I stopped him in time. But he, or someone like him, got us last night. I think if you're so desperate for money that you need to steal rain-soaked outerwear, you probably shouldn't be out in a club in the first place. This place is just atrocious...You got Ma' and Pa' working the front bar, Auntie M' on the back bar and the rest of the Beverly Hillbillies serving as the cleanup. They are RUDE....argumentative, and just down right....No People Skills. Went last night with the wife and sister-in-laws. The music was ok, but like others mentioned, seemed to be a CD set to repeat. Restrooms?...well the men's door is left open for all to "Enjoy" and the line blocks the access to the backroom. This place obviously makes enough money to clean up, put in doors, hire local bartenders (with some class and customer service skills), however it is just ran all wrong.
