Hair done by Masooda My experience here was very…read moredisappointing. My hair was 100% virgin hair and had never been dyed before. I naturally have dark brown hair, and I came in with an inspiration picture asking for an autumn copper-brown reddish color. They were very confident that they could make the color I wanted happen, which made me feel comfortable moving forward with the service. After the first round, she was already getting ready to send me home, but I told her I was not happy with the results because my hair barely looked different from when I came in. It stayed mostly the same dark brown, except for some patchy plum-colored areas. I paid $120 for that first service. After I explained that I was unhappy, she recommended bleaching my hair to get me closer to the lighter copper-brown reddish color I originally asked for. What bothered me was that before starting the bleach, she never told me she would also be doing another client's hair color at the same time. While the bleach was sitting in my hair, there was one point where she was away for about 40 minutes. I was so nervous about the bleach sitting in my hair that I actually started a timer myself because I did not want anything to happen to my hair. She was also leaving at other times in between for around 20 to 30 minutes while working on the other client. I really wish my hair had been monitored more closely throughout the bleaching process, especially because of how light it ended up becoming. Instead of the autumn copper-brown reddish color from my inspiration picture, I ended up with orange and blonde hair. I paid another $230 for the second service, bringing my total to $350. I am extremely disappointed that I spent $350, went through two rounds of color and bleaching on previously virgin hair, and still did not receive anything close to what I originally asked for. If you have naturally dark virgin hair and are looking to go lighter, based on my experience, I would definitely not recommend this place.

I didn't like what my hair looked like. I told her in between I wanted it to be different and she kept insisted that since she already put product in it that's she can't do anything. So I was like it looks like I had a shower and just towel dried it. I asked for her to at least wash my hair and blow dry it again so I could see what the cut would look like. I kept requesting. Saying that I need to feel good when I leave here but all she said was I can't because i have customers waiting. And then she got so frustrated and was like ok if you're so unhappy just leave. And so I did. I felt so terrible. I finally just got my hair back after having massive hair loss after being sick and for her to disrespect me and my hair that way just felt so bad. And to think it's the owner itself who behaved this way. Feel bad for the others who work there - hope they're good. Regardless never going back there. Hope your experience is better

Cindy is amazing, friendly and I never leave disappointed. Her pricing is way more affordable than these new age barber shops that want an arm and a leg for a simple cut, they make you reserve you apt weeks in advance, and by the time you get there your still going to be waiting around the lobby for 20-40 min after your scheduled apt time. Maybe I just had a few bad experiences with those places but ever since I found beauty cuts I never went back to the normal "barber shop" style places.
