Do not go to this place! I went there about 4 months ago and purchased a full set of brand new tires with warranty. Out of the blue, one tire became defective, so I returned to have it fixed. At first, they told me I needed to buy a new tire. When I showed them my receipt and reminded them of the warranty, they suddenly changed the story and claimed the tire had been previously repaired, which made no sense because I bought it brand new from them. After insisting, they decided to "repair" the tire instead, which raised questions about their honesty. The worst part came after. As I prepared to leave, I realized my brakes no longer worked and my trunk wouldn't open--problems I never had before bringing my car in. When I confronted them, their response was simply, "That's not our problem, your car is old." They told me to leave with a vehicle that had no brakes, completely ignoring the danger they created. I came in for a simple tire repair and left with a car that was unsafe to drive. If you value professionalism, honesty, and safety, stay far away from this place. read more

I went into Hudson tire exchange on Tuesday 9/3. They tried to patch my tire to no avail, so i asked them to put a new tire on. They replace the tire quickly and i drive off the lot. As soon as i left the lot my car started making weird noises when i was making turns. After work i went back and they said it had nothing to do with the tire. One of the employees even got into the car, drove it around, and swore it was a mechanical issue. My car is only 1.5 yrs old and i haven't had any issues with it. I told them it was strange that this wasn't happening prior to them putting the new tire on, but still they insisted it couldn't be the tire. So on Wednesday morning i bring the car to the dealership. The dealership calls and asks how long after getting the tire replaced the noise started. I said immediately after i left the lot which i thought was strange. The dealership then tells me that Hudson Tire Exchange put THE WRONG SIZE TIRE ON MY CAR. I would give this business 0 stars if it was allowed, but 1 i guess is because they gave me my money back no questions asked. But as a tire place, how do you put the wrong size tire on a vehicle and then proceed to swear up and down that the issue which arose the second after the tire was replaced can't be the tire!? I'm just lucky that no further damage was done to the car. Save yourself the hassle. Go anywhere but here for a new tire. Like literally ANYWHERE but here. read more

Uhm, my tire blew out a few days after getting my flat patched?? I don't think it had anything to do with my driving nor the road I was on (newly paved). Not sure how reliable patches are as a solution to a nail getting stuck in the tire. I would have called this place to complain but they are closed on Sundays. Wound up taking the car to Pep Boys and they actually pointed out another one of my tires was about to give (taking advantage of the fact that I'm a woman and I have no clue about car mechanics?? Who knows. But since I do know nothing about cars, I can't afford the risk of tires blowing out on me!!). About $300 and 2 hours later, I drove out of Pep Boys on a smooth ride. Perhaps I'll go straight to Pep Boys next time for peace of mind. Oh, some of you might be wondering how I even drove the car with a flat to Hackensack...YouTube, my friends! Although the "how to change a tire" video I saw featured a woman in heels. You CANNOT change a tire in heels. I got a serious workout (and a laceration on my leg while jumping on the lug wrench to loosen the bolts!!) while changing the tire to the spare. I'm actually glad I got the flat because now I know how to change a tire (which I highly recommend all women should know how to do). read more

He literally gives service with a smile, which is always a treat when dealing with a car-related "crisis". The replacement of one of my tires presented some unforeseen challenges but Jose was able to work through the issue and had all four tires replaced quickly. This is a great place for tires. I get tires for all four of our cars. They offer great advice, products and tires. Free tire rotation for as long as you own the car. The people that operate and work there are very nice to deal with. No pricing games here. Straight up no games! They recommended the best tires i've ever had on my SUV. I would never have thought to ask for GENERAL GRABBER tires. That's what they recommended. High milage long lasting tires. No issues at all. I'll put them on again. They are usually busy, so it might be a good idea to call first. read more

I just had four new tires put on my truck at Hudson Tire Exchange. The customer service was excellent. I telephoned them with my order and the tires were in the next day and their prices were very competitive. I dealt with several different guys there and each one was as helpful and as polite as the next. Service was outstanding and fast! Guys went above-and-beyond, putting a tire back on my spare and putting the spare back in it's holding spot and grinding wheels where necessary (a lot of grinding was needed as wheels were not in tremendous shape), both at no additional charge. I was also told that I could return early Summer and again before next Winter to have the tires rotated for free. Super service. Highly recommend. read more
