It's was so cozy in there, the food was delicious unfortunately small portions ( lol) I will definitely go back.

Although Hudson's Mill is tucked away it is a great find. The interior of the restaurant is warm and inviting and the owner checks on everyone to make sure they are enjoying their experience. The food is delicious, the Bavarian pretzel is huge and delicious-it is a meal in itself. Also had the Cuban sandwich, the bread was nice and soft and it had great flavor. They have a large selection of craft beers which I am not a huge fan of but they have normal beers for those of us that like a regular old beer. Take a ride to Garnerville and find Hudson's Mill, it is worth the ride! read more

Im giving it 2 stars for the hostesses attention other than that, Severely disappointed!!!! We Waited too long for drinks,appetizer and definitely too long for the entrees. Not too mention we were hardly acknowledged by our server. The hostess I guess noticed we were sitting there for quite some time and asked if our drink order was taken, she then looked for server and sent her over. Initially I asked for seltzer water with lemon and I mentioned to the server I would like to order drinks after appetizer. Server hardly came around so didn't come around to get our drink order. My water glass was never refilled although I sat there for over 1 1/2 hours. server never came to ask how things were after we got entree although she passed by our table 4 times. Entrees: Chicken and waffles - cornbread waffles were very dry even with lots of syrup, chicken was ok. Thin piece of breaded chicken breast. Salmon dish was better, the smashed potatoes were good. We decided not to stay for additional drinks and dessert. We went elsewhere. The only fast thing here was when we asked for the check, it arrived in less than 3 mins. When we paid our bill their system automatically ask to include the tip From 18-25%. When I made a comment to my guest about having to give that much for the bad service. The hostess overheard my comment and asked if everything was ok.I told her no and that i was giving them 2 stars. She politely apologized. I told her about my experience, again she apologized and that was it. There was an opportunity to remedy the situation but it was missed. Unfortunately the Food was not good enough to overlook the service. I take pride in ALWAYS supporting local businesses, but you have to draw the line. I won't be back. read more

Love, love, love this place. Have been there a couple of times and always a great experience. My husband and i went last night and had an awesome waitress named Meaghan. She was so friendly and nice and she really seemed to enjoy her job. I had the salmon which was amazing and my husband had the roadhouse sandwich. Went for the first time last night. Appetizers were ok but things went rapidly down hill once the entrees arrived. I had the spicy chicken sandwich, not sure it was even fully cooked. Would not feed it to my dog. My friend had the Cuban sandwich. We had to pass it around the table for others to taste how god-awful it was. The place has a good vibe but do yourself a favor and eat before arriving. Just have a drink from the bar. read more

Great new addition to the Rockland dining scene. Very nice bar with a great selection of scotch. Service was excellent and the food was very gastro pub'ish. Table of 6 had about 12 different dishes and all were excellent . The owner is very visible and checks on the tables frequently. Awesome atmosphere and vibe to this place. The service was great and very friendly. We weren't rushed at all and felt comfortable all night. We ordered the everything pretzel, pastrami, and BEC burger. I may hafta say this was the best burger I've had ordering out. Thick juicy burger with 3 pieces of real bacon, and a runny egg that is, more times than not, overcooked. Looking forward to returning with some friends next time. Keep up the great work! read more

Just awful in every way. Ordered from price Fixe menu. Service was bad - inattentive, forgot to bring bread and salads, never asked if we wanted coffee/tea with dessert. Servers seemed to not know which table was theirs, delivered wrong food to tables. Food was bad - unwashed lettuce in salad, no choice in dressing, bread was stale, salmon burnt, veggies undercooked, rice cold and unseasoned. Server did not care about any of this. This place is absolutely amazing!! The ambiance is great and service was excellent and don't get me started about how amazingly delicious the food is!!!! We have already been there twice in one week and haven't stopped talking about it to our friends & family! The Cuban Roll, mussels & Nonna's Artichoke are sooo delicious. The desserts will make you forget all about your diet. They even have games you can ask to play that that kept the kids (& some adults) entertained while we finished our drinks & settled the bill. I attended a brunch this past weekend and I was blown away at how great the service was! This was my second brunch and the first one had slow service and we felt forgotten about. However, this time the service was exceptional! We were a table of 7 and were fortunate enough to have Glenn and Jimmy as our servers. Great new addition to Garnerville! The owners clearly put a lot of time, effort, and love into renovating the old warehouse into a beautiful new restaurant. There are two menus, one for the bar area, and a 4 course tasting menu for $40 /person. The osso bucco rib appetizer is amazing. Succulent, tender and well flavored. The burgers have a real char-grilled taste and are large enough to share if you aren't too hungry. The bar has local beer from industrial arts (next door) and district 96 that compliment the food well. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. read more

Dreadful! Our worry started when both servers did not have masks or gloves on. They acted as if it was not important. Now granted we ordered curbside pickup but they came in and out uncovered and customers who were masked were going in and out getting takeout. Spent $100.00 on poorly prepared food. This place is a hidden gem. Everyone in our party of 6 today agree that the food is excellent, the space is fantastic, and our server was lovely. Decor is eye catching. Food is fresh, flavorful and well presented. Menu has a variety of foods for all tastes. Extensive beer and cocktail menu. My husband and I first came to this restaurant during the pandemic and we instantly fell in love with the staff, food, and ambiance!! At the time were just beginning to plan our wedding and were in the middle of looking for a rehearsal dinner location. We ended up meeting with and speaking to Jim (unintentionally) who was so incredible and awesome- he encouraged us to host our rehearsal dinner in their small private room! We were so blown away by Jim's passion for the business and his knowledge of decor and food- we were easily convinced. As the date got closer he set up a meeting with us and helped to create our own personalized menu for the night with passed hors d'oeuvres, appetizers, cheese board, entree, desert, and an unlimited bar for our guests!
