I really love going to this restaurant with my family. The industrial look and the setting of the restaurant is exquisite. The food is also very good the burgers, BBQ baked Mac and cheese, wings, and many other foods. But most importantly one of my favorites is the yucca fries! I used to hate yucca but this place has made Me learn to love it... but I do have to say there covid policy is a little strict but fair and they don't like more then 4 people at a table. And the taco steak is not some of its finest. There customer service is amazing and the waiters are quiet delightful, our food never comes late. I was so excited for this restaurant to open and tonight it definitely lived up to expectations!! We ordered the Cuban egg rolls, short rib ravioli and chicken and waffle. For dessert we had the salted caramel ice cream & waffle. Everything was absolutely delicious & well made. The Cuban egg rolls were the highlight for us--they were AMAZING!! The interior was tasteful, rustic & cozy while still feeling a little high-end which is nice. The service was fast, efficient and very friendly. I'm saddened to see the reviews criticizing service as the restaurant JUST opened and I'm sure they're still working out the kinks. However service was seamless tonight & we had no problems at all. We need to support new business like this in our area. 100% recommend and I'm excited to come back again and see how this place grows!! read more

Just had my birthday brunch at Hudson's Mills with 40 friends and family. The building has been beautifully restored and the room we were in was perfectly laid out with multiple tables and a buffet in the back. Jimmy, the manager, made sure the wait staff was ready with fresh sangria and punch, along with other drinks and everyone had something in their hands within minutes of arrival. The brunch included chicken and waffles, french toast and bacon as well as perfectly cooked salmon and shrimp and rice for those that wanted more serious food...everyone enjoyed the food choices because they were fun and flavorful. There was even had blueberry scones with this amazing butter that had more berries mixed in.The dessert spread was totally over the top. There was too much for everyone, from macaroons to whatever those indulgent chocolate whatever's but no one stopped eating and talking. The building may be older, but the acoustics were great and we could hear each other easily. Restrooms were nearby and spotless. And the waitstaff made sure our plates were cleared and our drinks were refilled. I can't say enough about how wonderful a day it was and how beautifully the restaurant and staff contributed to making this a perfect event. Can't wait to try it casually one night for drinks and dinner. Thank you for making my husband's party for me so perfect. read more

Great spot right across from Industrial Arts Brewing in the Garnerville Arts Complex. Valet parking available. Loved on the inside how they decorated, but still highlighted the classic industrial bones of the complex. Big open area with many TVs split between the bar area and some high and low top tables. They also have a side room with a few more booths and tables. I loved the clear sided cold box where you can see all the kegs that are on tap and in waiting. Food was excellent. The Cuban egg rolls were amazing dipped in the chimichurri sauce they came with. BBQ brisket sandwich came on a butcher board platter with a sizable amount of fries and some onion rings with an Au Jus dipping sauce. Loved the flavor combo of the brisket with the au jus. Just the right amount of sweet. Salad with chicken was also good. Nice list of local beer, heavy on Defiant and Industrial Arts with some Catskill, District 96 and others. Reasonably priced. Service was good and they provided bottles of water for the table. Overall, this place is off to a great start. Some of the items are a bit pricy, but it was definitely quality. We went for brunch and were very disappointed. I ordered Lox Charcuterie, BEC Burger, and Maple Sugar Churros. My wife ordered Grilled Peaches, Bourbon Torrijas, and Berry Panzanella. They forgot the salmon from the Lox Charcuterie and the peaches were cold and unripe- obviously precooked (or pre-grilled.) They brought out a replacement Lox Charcuterie and substituted the grilled peaches for the Kiwi Parfait Bowl. The Kiwi Parfait Bowl was fair at best- the yogurt had no kiwi flavor at all (it tasted like plain yogurt.) The burger was ok for a burger- I asked for rare and it was medium, and its just a burger. Nothing special. The Bourbon Torrijas was just sweet. The sweet overpowered any other flavors it may have had. The desserts were underwhelming. The churros did not taste good and I only tasted sugar on the outside. I could not taste any maple flavor. The berry panzanella was mediocre. Seemed pre-prepared like it came straight from the fridge (like the grille peaches.) None of the 3 courses were finished. The food wasn't inedible (well maybe under-ripe peaches.) From the hype and reviews and the price, we expected better. Our waiter tried to make us happy, and kept saying he could get the manager. We just wanted to try and make the best of it. Rather than a meal to enjoy, it was a meal to get through. read more

Been to this spot a few times since moving to the area. The menu has a little bit of everything and it is all worth trying. The pernil would probably be my personal favorite. Also, for the drink lovers out there, specialty cocktails and an extensive beer list. The vibe also makes this place worth going to, industrial yet cozy. They also do seasonal events, fundraisers, live music, etc. which I really love. Definitely a must try for anyone in Rockland. read more

I was privy to an early opening and was sincerely impressed with the aesthetics of the restaurant, which has an industrial style combined with a rich mixture of glass and different cuts of woods that make it feel warm, yet very very cool. They serve Industrial and Defiant on tap currently, with a large compliment of bottled and canned beers as well. The atmosphere is great and the staff very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I had the signature burger, which is actually made of 100% pork instead of beef; it was absolutely amazing. I'll be frequenting Hudson's Mill from now on. read more

I have been the Hudsons Mill many time and have always loved it. Never had any issues and food has always been great. My most recent experience, not so much. We were a party of 6 and had a 7:30 reservation. We arrived on time and were seated right away. Our server ( Randy) came over to us and took our drink order. When he returned with our drinks we ordered our appetizers which came out within 10 minutes. By 8:00 we ordered our entrees. We waited an hour before we had to ask Randy if he had any idea where our food was. One of our friends works nights, and had to leave by 9:30 to head in to work. So at 9pm we were able to finally flag Randy down to ask "if he knew when our food would be coming out", before we could explain why we were asking, we were cut off by him who responded with "whenever it comes out" and walked away. He returns to the table 5 minutes later to let us know we are the next ticket up and he cant do anything about it. At this point we've been waiting over an hour for our food and have got nothing but nasty remarks from our waiter so we are all very annoyed at this point. A different waitress then comes out with all our food at 9:15. Everything is room temp or cold, and our friend who has to leave for work was brought out the wrong food. He ordered steak fajitas and was brought out shrimp fajitas. Normally this is something he would have just eaten, but he has a shellfish allergy so this was not possible. He ended up leaving without eating and everyone else decided to eat without complaining about them temp because it obviously wasn't going to be addressed by our waiter. I have never had a more rude waiter than I had this night. Getting him to come to our table was impossible. He was too busy talking to everyone else and would not give us the time of day. Anytime we needed drinks we would have to stop a bus boy to send him over to us. read more

We started with nachos, which we all found to be outstanding, I had the french onion soup which tasted good even if a tiny bot watery but what it really could've used is more cheese. Now onto the meals. My wife had the salmon, she said it was excellent. I had the Bricktown Melt which was delicious. One of my sons had the mac and cheese and said it was excellent but could've done with less breadcrumbs, really a matter of personal preference. My other son had the pulled pork and said it was good. I came here for lunch with plenty of time to kill and full intention to enjoy some of there extensive craft beers on tap. However the service was horrible and I didn't want to stay any longer. I sat at the bar on a relatively empty restaurant, 3 groups at tables and 3 solo people at the bar including myself. I wasn't the only person to notice the staff ignoring the costumers one table got up and had to grab a waitress for service. They definitely weren't understaffed just lack of focus. I had to ask my bartender for a menu twice which is pretty limited for lunch. I like the atmosphere and what I ate and drank was good I will give this place another chance maybe later in the day when the staff and menus are different and maybe then I can give it a better review. read more

What a great place. Cool location. And DEElicious food. Everything was so good. We had yuca fries, pierogies, and firecracker shrimp. The shrimp was the favorite, followed by pierogies, but they were all very good. For entrees I had the Roadhouse sandwich (yum) , and the rest of the group had the Cubano with pernil, the special with cavatelli pasta, sausage, and broccoli rabe. And my bro-in-law had the BBQ Baked Mac and Cheese which had pulled pork on it which he loved. The service was fantastic. So attentive and friendly. The prices were right on the money. We've been here many times but last night was not great. We had a party of more than 6 so 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. However the service was HORRIBLE! Apparently since the waiter knew he was automatically getting a 20% tip he could pay us no mind. Took forever to get drinks, he never came over once to see if our food was okay. I had to ask another waitress for a second round of drinks. But yet he got $120 tip because of the automatic tipping on the bill. Outrageous. We don't like maple syrup or honey so we didn't use that for the chicken and waffles it was of course pretty dry so probably won't get that again. But that's on us. We saw their specials menu when we went to pick up and we were disappointed it wasn't on the website/social media since we found 4 more things on that menu we would've liked! Cute place with an interesting and diverse menu but the service needs to be fixed quickly before this place fails. Sort of reminds me of Brick House in Nyack. Same sort of vibe, and same slow service. Our dinners took about an hour to come out, well three of our four entrees took an hour. The last entree came out ten minutes after the others. This is one of those annoying things that make me never want to return. After making us wait an hour for our food you send out only three of our four dinners? Not a good way to make a first impression. Two of the dinners were cold, well there's another strike against this place. The actual quality of the food was just "ok", nothing made me say "wow this is good". Service in general could be described as "inattentive". We barely saw or heard from our server who I think was doing double duty as the bartender. Maybe this was an off night or maybe this is just how they operate, not sure I would return. read more
