Great dining experience! Came with my family of 4 on a Wednesday night during the holiday season, had no problem getting a table. Service was quick, the wait staff was very attentive and friendly, and the food was very decent. I'm very happy to have a restaurant as nice as this in North Rockland. We need more places like this. I guess we were all in a hamburger mood b/c 3 of us got the Tavern Burger, which was quite good. Our 4th got the street tacos and was basically licking the plate. SO. GOOD. 1. The ambiance and the vibe of this place is everything I love. Very industrial, dim lighting. Feels like it's in a secret location. Just feels very cool to put it simply. 2. Everything on this menu looked absolutely delicious. We got the calamari as an app and WOAH. Not sure what sauce they drizzled on but it was literally one of the best calamari I've had. Such a great great fun spot and a good addition to the neighborhood. Great bar for watching a game and having a beer. They have great burgers too. But for dining I wasn't too impressed. Tried the chefs special which was tortellini al forno. Shrimp and four cheese tortellini from the store and shrimp were mushy. Over sauced and a mess. Also chicken quesadillas which were mushy over cheesed and barley any chicken. Tried chicken and waffle which was super dried and bland tried a side of macaroni and cheese which was pasty and bland. Also pan fried pierogies were over done. But the onions where great. Wait staff on point. Parking lot right outside. Dining indoor and outside too . Highly disappointed. I heard great things about Hudson Mills. When I went with my family , the service was slow , one waitress for the entire restaurant and she was not attentive . She was seen talking with others ( possibly friends, which occurs- understandably) but we had to wait super long to place an order and to receive our check. We actually had to take our food to go because it took so long. We had to waive the waitress down on multiple occasions , it was as if she forgot about us. She also never gave the kids menu until we asked if there was one available , she' didn't offer any specials ( if any) and she didn't ask me what I wanted to drink or my children. It was like pulling teeth, not a pleasant experience. Additionally the food was not good for the price we paid. $20 for a kids pasta meal with grilled chicken ... nothing fancy and it did not taste great. A salad that was $23 turned into $33 for alittle grilled chicken. But besides the food, it was truly the service that made the experience horrible. The food can still make an impression possibly with other meals on the menu. I was very taken aback on the poor service there. I never leave reviews ... but wow . read more

Went for dinner with some friends on a Friday night. We got seated quickly (reservations required). There was live music which was nice. The waiter was quick and helpful. I ordered the truffle fries and the brussel sprouts. The sprouts were great and although the fried were cooked perfectly, I did not taste the "truffle". The beers were great,I'd go back just to sample more beers. M freind ordered the pernil, but to her dismay it was a bit dry . The chicken parm my other friend ordered was great, she ate it all! Atmosphere was lively, well lit and family friendly. I'd come back again to try more beers and perchance try a few other dishes. read more

Will not visit this establishment any longer. Had dinner with family on Sunday at 6 pm. Wait staff all seem very young and novice. Our wait staff had issues taking our order. Restaurant very noisy as staff kept rearranging tables. When I asked if he was new to the job he answered that they were using a new program to take orders. We ordered IPA Wrench and the bar tender came back 15 minutes later to tell us they ran out. We placed our dinner order and tried to have a table conversation but the wait staff again were rearranging the tables again. It was very noisy. By the way the restaurant was not busy with patrons. There were 4 tables with customers. When I spoke with the manager to state my concerns she listened and had a reason for all my complaints. She stated they had an earlier party that left at 4 pm and needed to put tables back. She wanted to know what she could do to change my opinion and come back again. In my opinion she should have been able to figure that out! There are many ways to make a patron feel they have been heard. Aside from the noise and bar issue the food is good. But when I go out for dinner I like peace and quiet and enjoy conversation which was lacking here. read more

Great food and drinks and a wonderful staff. Menu is small but if you go back they're always moving dishes around and adding new favorites. Location is very unique. Parking area needs work is probably the only negative I can think of. read more

My bf and I drove up to the mountains for the day and stopped in for some lunch on our way up. It was in a cool old factory. I loved the atmosphere of the place. They had some outdoor seating, but because it was noon, we opted to dine indoors and away from the sun. It looks like it would be a really great place to go to in the evening to sit outside and enjoy some beer. Our waiter was also the bartender, who was very attentive. We both ordered a beer on tap, served in a Mason jar, which I loved! We shared some truffle fries. Always a good choice wherever we go. I had "drunken steamers" off the chef's special menu- steamed clams in the most delicious garlic wine broth searved with faccacia bread sticks. I was tempted to drink the broth, it was that delicious. My bf got "chicken and waffles" - chicken katsu over a corn bread waffle with hot honey and maple syrup. He described them as "out of this world". I tried a bite, and they were very delicious. This place is absolutely fantastic, and seems to be a hidden gem. We will definitely be back again, maybe next time to check out their Sunday brunch! read more

Great atmosphere and service, food and drinks were delicious. We didn't get any food pictures because we were too hungry and dove in right away. First time here and the food was fabulous, tasty, fantastic, I had the pernil and it didn't disappoint. Tender with lots of seasoning amazing dish. Plenty of food even for my 6'5" size. The servers where courteous and patient ready to clear out the table without constantly asking if everything's okay. This place is now added to my "To go to" list. My family and I went there for Brunch and I fell in love with the entire vibe of the place. The wait persons were very pleasant and helpful when asked questions about the menu. The location was so very cool! It's a part of a industrial like setting and what I'm sure will be a beautiful walking path behind the builds. Now, the food. We enjoyed a very tasty brunch menu. I had the steak and eggs with home fries and a Bloody Mary to wash it all down and loved it all. Well my rating is purely based on my encounter with the staff here on 2 occasions. Months ago I reached out via email for information on a private party. I was told that he only discusses on the phone and we set up a time for a call. Not sure why his preference was phone when he completely rushed the call and told me he would not be booking 2023 events till November. On Sunday we drove here to have brunch. Website and brunch menu show that brunch is 11-2. We arrived at 11 and were told "we're not open and the chef isn't even here yet." I mentioned the website states it opens at 11 and he stated "Well I don't know why it says that." Your website, your menu - fix it. Also if you're opening at 1130 why is the kitchen staff not prepping a half hour prior? Sorry I worked in restaurants for many years. Zero etiquette or positive representation here. I came here for last minute dinner plans. They asked if we had a reservation and we didn't but they seated us pretty quickly. A took a bit for the server to come over to our table but when he did, he was really nice. I had a nice Mezcal drink and ordered the Mac and cheese with the pulled pork. Really delicious. My niece ordered the chicken and waffles which I tasted and it was delicious as well. We had the sweet chili chicken wing for a starter and we really enjoyed them. I haven't written a review in years.....but this place was so good im forced to. The fra diavlo sauce was one of the best ive ever had........make sure you try it. I got it with my mussels.....they should be serving it with the calamari too its too good to only offer with one thing on the menu! I have been here twice and absolutely love it! This is the perfect place to go if you want to chill out with friends and have a drink. The waiters do not rush you, so you can hang out and have drinks and appetizers before being rushed to order dinner. The drink selections are great and I have found some of my favorite drinks here! The beers on tap are always changing and they have really great local options! The food is delicious! For apps I have tried the everything pretzel and the guacamole and chips, and both were great! I have also had the chicken parm vodka sandwich, as well as the farm house sandwich. I really enjoyed both and would recommend them! This establishment incorporates both this with flair and love There is an excellent selection of local beer on tap as well as some amazing dishes The mussels were fantastic not to be missed and really enjoyed the olives in the sauce The seasonal seafood corn chowder was velvety and decadent. Really impressed with the freshness, the potatoes were present but not mushy or al dente Caesar salad was crisp and yummy homemade croutons Salmon was cooked nice with a light sauce drizzle Then Zowey!!! The BS. Tender steak slices cooked to perfection, over baby Bella mushrooms and carmelized onions over fantastic smashed potatoes all wrapped up with a succulent drizzle of Black Forest gravy. I stumbled across the place visiting a friend in Haverstraw when we were looking for a place to have lunch. Since then, I have been back a few times and every single time I have enjoyed my experience. It is hidden behind a couple of other buildings and a brewery. I adore the atmosphere of this place. The service has always been very attentive and friendly! They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Inside, there are TVs all over the place to watch sporting events. It's set in an old factory, and what they have done with decor I absolutely love. The lighting is perfect, not too bright and not too dark, with lots of string and pendant lights. The food has been good every single time. My friends and I have tried the mussels, burger sliders, shrimp tacos, the classic burger and the gyro. Every one of the dishes has been well prepared and tasty. I have tried something different every time, and always been happy with my choice. There is also an amazing selection of local and craft beer, with an extensive cocktail menu. I will definitely continue to frequent this spot when I am in there area. read more

I really love going to this restaurant with my family. The industrial look and the setting of the restaurant is exquisite. The food is also very good the burgers, BBQ baked Mac and cheese, wings, and many other foods. But most importantly one of my favorites is the yucca fries! I used to hate yucca but this place has made Me learn to love it... but I do have to say there covid policy is a little strict but fair and they don't like more then 4 people at a table. And the taco steak is not some of its finest. There customer service is amazing and the waiters are quiet delightful, our food never comes late.
