We live (roughly) around to corner from this location, and although it's been open for a hot minute, we've not been able to make it i until now. We we kid-less last Friday night so we popped on over. The parking lot was not slammed like it usually is, but it was about 5, so still early for a Friday night. There were a fair amount of people inside so I was surprised based on the amount of cars. Don't be fooled like we were! Upon entering the building, we were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. Mya was our server and SHE made our visit a great one!! She was personable, constantly aware of our needs and as friendly as they get! I'll be honest and say that, although the food tasted good, it was over priced! Hubby and I both had what they call the "Mega Bacon Cheeseburger", thinking that it would be just that... we were disappointed when they arrived at our table. They weren't any more "mega" than their very close neighbor's regular Big J***. The shoestring French fries we tasty but over salted. Because our food was lacking in size, we had dessert. It was the beautiful strawberry, waffle concoction, smothered in chocolate sauce, strawberries, ice cream and pecans... IT and Mya were worth the $30+ we spent. If we return, it'll be for Mya and this strawberry goodness thing that she made! I want to reiterate that the burgers tasted good. We just felt that $10 for cheeseburger sized burger with bacon hyped as Mega was a disappointment. I'm positive that the breakfast plates most likely live up to the hype. My Daddy always said that if you want a good burger, go to a good burger joint. If you want a great breakfast, go to a great breakfast joint! Lesson learned! I've never done this before, I've been tempted to but never have. However there's times that you just have to make something known or it's irresponsible. This was the worse service that I've ever experienced. Food was ok, but didn't get half of it. The waitress didn't know what was on the menu, didn't bring utensils, no butter, no sugar was brought for coffee, had to ask another server for syrup. It was absolutely terrible service. When it was time to paying, I paid with a card & the card machine didn't work & then she said we needed to pay with cash. My wife suggested she try another one & it worked. In addition to that the men's restroom didn't look like it had been cleaned in weeks or at least the sink appeared that way. And breakfast was $45 for two adults & a child, which was ridiculous ( it was probably not done correct). SMH, I was just ready to get out of there. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Huddle House this morning (around 10:30 AM). I brought a group of students, and we were refused service despite several open tables. We were told we needed a reservation even though that's not their policy and that the unused tables were reserved for interviews. The employee, Claudine, said she was on the phone with the manager, Tay Walker, who wasn't on site. She also told us we would need to wait outside in the rain, which was extremely upsetting given we were with students. We were then told they didn't have enough food to serve a group of 30, which was confusing since it was still the morning and they planned to remain open for hours. I've never had this kind of experience here before, and it was frustrating enough that corporate had to be contacted. Unfortunately, we had to take our business elsewhere. read more

Went to 2 waffle houses with empty tables and long waits. Ended up at huddle house. We were seated immediately and had the best customer service by Crystal. Coffee was kept hot & food came out quick! We split the all star breakfast and it was the perfect amount! read more

Let's get the good out the way first: They are trying to enforce safe COVID protocols. I was greeted and seated quickly. All the staff had on properly worn masks and the cooks had gloves. There was a slight delay before my server arrived but I have no issues with her afterwards. The staff keep their hands in their back pockets when waiting on pickups. It prevents them for unnecessary touching things. They are using old plastic type covered menus instead of paper ones, they I prefer not to touch after others. Same for the salt/pepper on table. I watched the kitchen closely while waiting on my order since my phone won't work inside. I saw my Cook wiped something into trash and touched the bin without washing his hands or changing gloves. They use their gloved hands a lot so should treat them like a surgeon. That turned me off right away. He touched the inside of the trash and still put cooked baked on a plate. He needs a refresher course but will be fine. I saw a bun that was burnt on a plate and hoped it wasn't mine. Yep! The cooked placed burgers on it and It was delivered to me so I immediately asked for a non burnt bun before it was placed on my table. I showed my server why and she asked for it to be replaced. I was so disappointed to see the bottom bun only was replaced when I received it back. I also had watched them dumped the fries several minutes before my plate was ready. The fries sat under a heat lamp for too many minutes before they were served to me. I only order fries when I eat them at an establishment. I was taking a chance on my life to be able to enjoy hot fries instead of cold like fries they are by the time I get home. After 16 mins without fresh fries I decide to put my mask back on and left. The burger was juicy and fresh and maybe even delicious.!!! Except for the fact all I tasted was burnt bread. He replaced my bottom bun but served the same burnt top one. That was just the sign of an he didn't value me or know the affect of his actions on the success of his employer. After 8 mins I was still waiting on fresh fries when my server said she would check on them. When she said it the second time, I wanted out of that COVID cesspool. I boxed up the half of my burger uneaten and , left those ice cold fries on the plate without touching another one. My dogs would have eaten them but I wanted them to see I didn't touch them. The tea wasn't worthy so I left it too. I left 15% tip on the device left on my table to pay the bill. It goes against my sense of fair play to leave less than $2 to a hard working waitress so I gave her another $1 bill because she really offered to refire my entire plate but I didn't want to be inside there any long to wait on it nor did I want to eat anything that same cook touched with that gloved hand. The wait staff have their assigned sections and will actually turn to watch the kitchen to avoid making eye contact with customers. Better team work to please the customer would improve matters. I really wanted to make this an outstanding review because it's good to have a new business in the area. I think with time matters will improve so suggest people give it more times to work the bugs out. My burger tasted like burnt bread even with the replace really charred bottom bun replaced. Otherwise it might have been greet. It was juicy, not over cooked like some places, and decent beef. It had melted cheddar and only needed salt and pepper. I got up and washed my hands after touching the menu and there are signs saying my table had be sanitized. My dogs enjoyed their part of the burger and I meant to go to the taco truck a crossed the street to get my dinner but I was upset with wasting almost $15 on that disappointed meal. My 3/5 is because there is not annoying chatter between the staff that is often cause them to ignore their waiting customers. With more training things can turn around and I appreciate my debit card paying at the table. read more

Today my sister and I ordered huddle House for breakfast through a delivery service and most of our issues came from the delivery process. At first our UberEats driver had a mix-up with my sister and I's orders, but the issue was fixed, and we were refunded our money. I had the golden waffle with strawberries and whipped cream with a side of eggs toast and gravy. All the food was cold once it arrived which was frustrating since we had already had the previous issue with our orders being mixed up. The food however was good, but one thing I noticed was in both of our delivery containers there were multiple plastic utensils that we didn't need which I feel is very non sustainable. The fact that they offer delivery though I believe makes it more Covid friendly seeing as it keeps you from having to go to a public place for food. read more

Our family stopped here for dinner they only had 2 people running the whole place a waitress and a cook. There was only a couple of people in the dining room at 1 table so they were not busy at all. Customers were coming in demanding a refund on take out orders and taking pictures of their food and getting very upset . We finally placed our order then the waitress came back several minutes later to tell us they were out of multiple items so we had to reorder a different side, the tea was sour so we had to recorder a other drink. During this time the cook was away for quite a while not cooking, we never could see where he was during this time,the poor girl was stuck doing it all and he was not communicating with her at all on what they were out of. About an hour had passed and she says our order was almost done and then comes back and says sorry we are out of cheesesteak which is what my aunt ordered so by this time we are really getting mad and my aunt asks the cook " do you have any chicken" he says no we are out of chicken. We are like are you kidding me, as this was going on a woman comes in and talks to him. We assume his family. So he takes off his gloves and says sorry this is only my second day back and they did not leave me any food to cook with and goes outside leaving the other customers food to work on a car in the parking lot. The family at the other table have also been here over an hour and are standing up wondering what is going on, he had only cooked some of their food. It was awful so we decided to pay for our drinks and leave. We could not believe what was happening here. The poor young waitress was in tears crying and did not know what to do. I know this place had just opened up but they still have a lot of issues to be address. They have created a bottle neck when you first enter the restaurant to be seated the take out orders are picked up and paid for where the hostess is suppose to be standing to greet you to be seated. We couldn't be seated until the customer who was picking up their take out order paid for and received their order. Very confusing for everyone concerned there were plenty of employees but a lot of confusion. We were finally seated and no waitress came to take our drink order. We sat there for a while until a couple was seated across from us they immediately received drinks and food before we did. I finally had to stop one of the waitresses to get coffee and water. Not a good first time experience. My food was good service not so good until attention was drawn. read more

No clue why no one was at the sign " wait to be seated " ... lady in front of us has a pick up order and was finally ask to sit in waiting area... waitress finally seated us... her mask was below her nose. For some reason the back area didn't have any one seated in it.. everyone was in the front area( sort of small , poor spacing ) . Our drinks came out quickly, food order taken promptly. Food arrived quickly, hash browns where oily and too crisp( I ordered mine soft ) omelet was greasy, and toast was warm stale bread... not what I expect from HH. I'd give no stars if possible!! First and foremost DO NOT EVER, EVER EVER, ORDER USING THEIR WEBSITE!!!!!!! We ordered for pick up using THEIR website. Not Doordash, not ubereats, etc. When we arrived home food was missing and no one mentioned that or gave the option of choosing something else while at the restaurant. We drive BACK to the restaurant because the restaurant was not "receiving" (the recording said) phone calls. By this time we are no longer interested in eating and just want our money back........well that's a hard no! Very bad experience . Walked in, waited to be seated. After being seated we were moved to the back, there we waited 15 to 20 min before even being acknowledged by anyone . I literally starred at everyone as they walked out the kitchen and no one even looked at me. Gave them another chance and tried calling to place an order by phone because my food actually wasn't bad, wasn't the best but it wasn't bad. Got there around 11:30am, there were 3 other gentlemen and one lady already there, she had been waiting for 25 minutes after her order had been placed, and she was still waiting. The gentlemen said no one had even addressed them and they had been waiting 20ish minutes. There were 4 people working the floor and about 5-6 in the cooking area. There were 6 tables occupied, and while I was waiting, 2 of those tables left after waiting too long. Finally someone came to us and said "we are very short and will get to you in a minute." The lady waiting after her order had already been placed walked to the cashier and asked if one of the 4-5 orders retrieved and placed on the shelf was hers, and IT WAS, after the cashier put the orders there without checking before she sat the order down. We left after waiting about 30 minutes with no order being placed or asked if we were dining in or placing an order to go. Also let me add that many people came in, saw what was going on and left because apparently this crew did not know how to handle it being less than half-way busy. They must do better.
