I was traveling across country and stopped for what I thought would be a decent breakfast. I got eggs, ham and toast and cold hash browns. I could hardly cut the thin, dried out, over cooked slab of ham; I could have used a steak knife. And why, oh why, do places put bread in the toaster and warm it for a minute. The toast arrives with no color and not even toasted one bit, no where near warm even. This was like that. This place should he ashamed of the crap they serve, the sanitary conditions, and having a young punk trying to make a frigging sandwich. Yeah, I saw you back there trying to make a pancake, smashing the shit out of it and flipping it 6 or 7 times. I'm glad I didn't order pancakes!! The staff was really nice. The food is amazing. I had the baking cheeseburger and it's to die for.

Stopped in while putting gas in the car. There is a sign on the door warning to be patient because of being understaffed. Our server was very friendly and not slow but she was washing dishes, bussing tables, and serving so she was working her butt off. Our food was merely ok. My other half said "it was okay, nothing to write home about." Biggest issue was even though it wasn't crowded, it was extremely loud because the cook and a customer were yelling back and forth about how he got scrapple at another restaurant and how terrible it was with a runny center. Then how he's been working since he was 12. The cook was complaining how she works 7 days a week, she hired someone for $18 an hour who slept in their car and also that the bread man hasn't delivered in weeks and she doesn't have the staff to send to the store to buy bread. Quoting my other half again, "if they don't have enough people, they should just close." Yeah, I mean if the business is open, it's open and I expect to be reasonably accommodated -- not hear staff complaining to other customers. read more

My worst lunch experience ever I'm normally not very fussy and i i've always realized how hard wait staff works and also that anyone can have a bad day However this really was a terrible experience, from the moment we walked in the door up to the walked out I thought perhaps i'd annoyed the waitress somehow, and that was the reason for the terrible vibes and service, but i observed her interactions with the other tables and everyone was being treated awfully It could just be an issue with this one staff member but the conditions of the Huddle House that day were dirty and unkempt it seemed to be an ongoing issue I dont want to elaborate too much on the details of the poor service but they range from not getting silverware until i had to go up to counter to ask for it, where i was ignored for a few minutes, to not being able to get my coffee topped off, and finally asked if i needed change when i paid my $12 check with a $50 bill I did indeed leave a tip but not $38 which would be 300% I regret ever stopping in there read more

my first impression was good. However, when I sat down at the table, gum fell from the bottom and stuck to my shoe. Ewww. I ordered the southwestern wrap. Omg it was so good. I also got the western bowl. That was amazing as well. My only other complaint is the atmosphere of this place. The lighting is so dark it makes u sleepy. It's definitely not a good place to take ur significant other to unless u like the dive diner atmosphere. Oh by the way this place is open 24hrs every day. Come check it all out yourself. I LOVE HUDDLE HOUSE! I tend to stick with this location, as the servers always remember me greatly. I have only had a few bad experiences here, and it is usually from people that I never see afterwards (likely quit or fired). Anywho, I shall be going step by step on a regular day eating here. When I arrive, I always notice the lovely decorations and overall cleanliness. It is such a good way to start an evening! When I find my dinning table (they offer bar seating as well), I always know what I am going to order! I begin off with a nice lemon water and they always give an abundance of extra lemon to make it super sweet! The servers are very quick and the cooks definitely know what they are doing. Then, I get an order of mozzarella sticks and the marinara sauce given with it is to die for!! Finally, I am given a grilled cheese and tots that have cheese and bacon on them. IT IS SO GOOD, even though it is basic. I promise that even though you can make these things at home, they are 10x better here! LOVE THE WORKERS AND FOOD read more

The first time to a HH yesterday, and we were very pleased. This one was staffed by just a cook (Jodie) and a waitress (Lila), but the food and service were exemplary! Might go back again this morning! Had the MVP but substituted grits for the hash browns... Jodie called out to say she had made the MVP with hash browns out of habit, and would I eat them if she left them on the plate (at no charge), but that I'd be getting the grits too. Lila brought coffee more often than any other place we go, and everything was cooked perfectly... and I mean, PERFECTLY... honestly beat out my "best meal ever" from back in July 2022. read more

The cook was yelling order up multiple times before the waitress pickup the order to serve it. That was the first time. The second visit one waitress and two cooks. Jodi is such an amazing lady, that works double and triple shifts almost alone. She is the ONLY reason that this store stays a float and survives. It is a pity that the owners do not take into account how greatly she continues to bring in a crowd of people. The 5 stars are the absolute bare minimum I could ever give this wonderful woman for how hard she is working to keep the customers satisfied! If you're the owner reading this, I hope you learn the value of your employees also the fact that I promise you that Jodi is the only reason this place is still open. You should open your eyes and see that instead of stuffing your pockets, you should respect your dedicated employees and give them acknowledge of it as well as a MAJOR BONUS! read more

I've been to many diners but this one is far better than any I've been to. There is no hostess and you find your own seats. The tables already have plenty of menus. The waitress greeted us as we sat down and attended to our drinks right away. She was super polite even though it was really late. She took our order and appetizers came out quicker than we expected. Just a couple minutes after we devoured the appetizers, the entrees came and my whole party enjoyed it and had no complaints. It tasted like it was freshly made and looked like the pictures of the menu. I've always avoided going to diners but this place convinced me that there are some really great diners. read more

Huddle House is basically your slightly more up scale Waffle House right down to the hash browns. We were here later in the evening on a Tuesday. The selection is really good, the food is really good, and the portions and prices are average with other like eateries, our waitreaa was very kind as well. We decided to try this place out looking for a break from our usual diner. More than most likely we split the two up. It was so great that we are going to write off our usual diner, but good enough that we will "add it to our rotation." read more
