Wearing plastic gloves does nothing if you go around touching everything,you're only supposed to wear plastic gloves while you're handling raw food not touching the refrigerator handle, the dirty counters, and especially your pants leg that you've been wiping food off your hands on all day long, if you're looking to catch salmonella, this is a good place. I watched the cook, touch everything while wearing the gloves and then touching raw food. He even went as far as putting his fingers in eggs that he just cracked into the frying pan so he could get the shells out and then immediately wipe his slimy hands on his pants. Went to have breakfast with my son-in-law this morning and we had a new server who did really well and when she didn't know she got help from one of the regular servers who usually waits on us she's amazing, however today when our food was ready one of the regular servers brought it to us and when I informed her I couldn't eat the eggs because the yolk was cooked she proceeded to argue with me on how it wasn't (I'm the customer there was no reason to argue) when the server finally took it to the cook she starts to tell him how I'm being a pain about the eggs etc (which is like .02 per egg to fix) the cook says no big deal and cooks two more for me. I still ended up with cooked yolks but it was a lot less than there was, my problem is how dare you argue with the customer then trash talk the customer to the cook where the customer can clearly hear you. Not only did I used to be a server for years many people in my family have as well this was by far the absolute worst customer service I have EVER had!!!!!! Shame on y'all you need to train you servers better! read more

Been here a few times. Like most Waffle House the food is good. That's one thing I like about them, haven't been to a real bad one yet. Service at the one on Houston Lake Rd is good and they keep the coffee hot. Still don't know why they can't get better looking waitresses though. Lol read more

Been there a few times and service was decent, but today service was horrible. Waitress was doing her job, but somewhere there was a disconnect. We questioned waitress about our order after almost 45 min of waiting and she said delay was because of "special orders." I didn't belive that line and had gotten up to leave when she said our orders were being placed on plates. Sat down and waited another 5 min and finally partial order was served. My particular meal (nothing special-menu item) was served in 3 phases and all three were not even warm. I got cold eggs, bacon and hash browns, then after about 3 min, biscuit w/gravy and then after about 8 min, sausage. There was 4 in our party and I know of 2 who won't return until someone tells me things have changed. Got there around 12:30p order placed by 12:45p and food came in phases beginning 1:27p. read more

I eat here very often. The food is average for this type restaurant. Simular to a Waffle House. If there is a crowd, service is usually slow. On a busy night I have waited over an hour for my food after sitting and ordering. read more

Have been here 4 times and will never return. First time was wonderful, staff very friendly and good service. Times 2&3 not as good. Both times the same waitress served me and my husband and she was horribly rude. Once we ate in the restaurant and it was 45 minutes before our food arrived and the place was half empty and every table was dirty. It took us asking 2 times and 15 minutes before she would even wipe our table and then she treated us like we were asking for the moon and refused to make eye contact until our food was ready. The next time, same waitress, we sat at the counter. After 10 minutes she shouted across the room at us asking if we wanted to order food, when we said yes she rolled her eyes and huffed. We then said we wanted it to go and she snarkly said "of course you do" and got even more bent out of shape when we asked for coffee while we waited. Today I went in to again order something to go and with a 1/2 empty restaurant she informed me that it would be an hour wait... The people before and after me were not advised of this just myself. When I asked if that included a to go order she rudely replied " yes it does if thats not obvious" while gesturing at the half empty place. Even the other coustomers were shocked.
