PROBLEM: No shower card given for entry. Our expensive rig snd weary travelers could not be left a card? ?We paid ahead for this campsite. And they want $10 cash deposit for the shower card? Why are the toilets unlocked and showers not?? Could not figure out confusing WiFi I spy entry codes etc. After a day of long weary travel, I had NO shower means and NO WiFi communication. Argh. Call the tech assistance number you say owners?' After 8 hrs of travel NO thanks. I see the poor reviews here. I understand the owners own the gorgeous house on the property. No one available after hours. The RV lots are 2-3 feet apart. Little privacy, I received a call from the grounds keeper the next day after left message day before. Defensive, NO apology, bordered on argumentative. What a shame as the grounds are quite serene. Know ahead of time what you're facing and plan. I heard campers refer to the owners negatively. Can't you be kind and considerate to your patrons and tired travelers? Please check your phone messages at the very least. 'Nuf said.

When we first decided to become seasonal at LL we were told by the park manager that bathrooms were one of the top items to be renovated. Unfortunately renovated and working are two different things. There is no activity director therefore activities are regularly cancelled at last minute or moved with no notice. The store in site does not sell things you would expect to find at a campground store ie camping essentials but that's ok but it's really hot or miss as to when the store is open. Good luck finding the operating hours and if you do find them, even better luck finding the store operational during those times. As a seasonal camper with your credit card on file, you will be charged for pump outs that are not listed in your contract and are supposed to be included in your yearly fee. No wxplaination will be given to you as to why you were charged this year but not last year. Any campers who do speak up about issues with the campground or management are threatened with being kicked out or retaliated against. Team Outsider is who owns the campground. You will never see them post about Lake Louise like they do their other properties because for some reason they don't care about this one. The co-owners of Team Outsuder, Cody Sauer and Josh Weissenstein have been reached out to multiple times by campers to voice their concerns about the state of LL only to have both Josh & Cody turn a blind eye and a deaf ear. I would recommend not doing business with Lake Louise or ANY campgrounds owned by Team Outsider FKA Land Lease America.

Lincoln way inn is the Best bed and breakfast in Illinois! There I said it lol!…read moreLisa and her team are awesome! I truly cannot find the right words to explain how we felt during and after our visit. The hubski and I are bed and breakfast lovers, so about 3 years ago we started looking for a bed and breakfast in Illinois to visit. We found Lincoln soon after we started our search and was impressed with their commitment to the environment and local producers. The rooms looked so dreamy and we also saw that we could have the experience of being beekeepers! I was too excited. We booked our 2 night stay for our anniversary. When we got there, we were warmly greeted by Lisa and her team and they checked us in took us on a little tour of the property and then up to our room (we stayed in the carriage house). We parked our car in the heated garage below the carriage house (each room has a spot in the garage). The carriage house was amazing! A huge balcony, full kitchen, 1 full bath, 1 half bath, a full living room and a king bedroom. It was perfect. Our first night in, we made pan seared salmon in the kitchen and the next morning, Lisa came over with a 3 course breakfast! All local products and tasted sooooooo great! That day we went to the farm which had an apple orchard, chickens that provided our eggs for breakfast and we took a ride in the truck around the farm to see the wild flowers and the bees. We suited up and became beekeepers which was so much fun and after we enjoyed a really good lunch prepared for us and pour our own bottle of honey! This is one experience I will never forget We drove to Dixon that night to have dinner at an Italian restaurant and drove back to settle in and enjoy a nice quiet evening. They leave out cookies in the main building so we ran over and took a few and some milk to enjoy while watching tv. The next morning breakfast was equally amazing and we were so sad that we had to leave but we will be back for sure and hopefully try a room in the main house and going for a hike along the trail super close to the inn. Thanks Lisa and team for an amazing and memorable stay! Tse and Steve
