It's not…read morethat far from the Oklahoma border, although some might consider it a far-flung exurb of Dallas. I honestly had trouble finding the place and nearly gave up. I'm glad I stuck with it and checked around the corner - that's where I found a super steep staircase leading to a magical coffeeshop space. The second floor has it all: creaky wooden floors, broad sunny windows, exposed brick walls, high ceilings, a counter full of quirky merchandise including stickers, jewelry, bookmarks and more. There's a rack of curated vintage clothes and a bookcase wall. So - the setting is amazing and this would be the perfect place to meet a friend, or settle in for an afternoon and get some work done. The menu is seasonal - I tried a latte and my friend tried an iced matcha - both were delicious! Really glad I took the time to check out this unique spot.

First time here, so I'll definitely update when/if I can return…read more First impression: uber cute decor, I love all the plants, there are books, children's books, and the bathroom is serene. Free water and bottomless coffee refill in the corner. They sell balms, stickers, clothes, and more. Prices are a little steep, especially with a farmers market across the street, but options are always a good thing. I ordered a large latte. The menu states flavors are an extra .50 in the menu book, but I was charged $1. (Just an observation that the prices may not be correct on yeh menu book) They ask for tips, but I wouldn't. They don't clean up, you take your cups and plates to the trash area. We ordered the tacos. It did take 25 minutes to get it and it was not busy. Our coffee was ready pretty quickly. I presume (wild guess) that the food fixer dude is not good with multi tasking, or his desire to serve is lacking. Anyways, the serving size was good! The tacos were warm on top, but the eggs were cold on bottom. Plus they really had no flavor. My latte was warm at best and the coffee was not strong? I would suggest switching brands. The hot cocoa my husband got WAS delicious and stayed hot in the travel cup... so maybe that would help in the latte arena. The coffee server was by far very friendly. Thank you for Truly not being ugly, just an honest review. If I come back will try a coffee and a food item to see if it improved.

I love the berry basil toast but the last 3-4 times that I've been ordered it it's been horrible. Either the FRESH BASIL is missing, which has happened multiple times or now they apparently put dried basil that has no taste. Had to break out the ole umbrella and walk an arduous walk that had me singing "Let It Go" from Frozen as I climbed the stairs up to the front door! After I was finished, I went to the coffee spot. I was recently hospitalized there for 8 days, and had been there a few times for coffee and snacks, etc... It's a great little spot and company! They have a wide variety of seasonal blends and a good variety of syrups (nice selection of sugar free- which I use!). They offer plant based milks as well, and the food choices are very fresh, organic and natural! Ask for Finley!!! She recognized me from my stay, knew me by name, and told me how beautiful I looked! I was pretty sick when I was there before. She really cared and remembered me well. This impressed me! She even remembered what I ordered last! They have a nice rewards program and a great selection! I ordered the eggs benedict and a biscuit on the side because I'm a fan of both. The biscuit was enormous and was served with what seemed like home-made jam. It was good, but on the dry side. The eggs benedict came with what I would describe as shoe-string home fries. Those didn't appeal to me all that much, but the eggs benedict was very good. There didn't seem to be quite enough staff members on duty. I had to make an effort to get and pay my bill. But all told, a satisfying meal and I'd go back.
