The White Rabbit is a little hidden treasure, tucked away in rustic downtown Sherman, TX. It's not…read morethat far from the Oklahoma border, although some might consider it a far-flung exurb of Dallas. I honestly had trouble finding the place and nearly gave up. I'm glad I stuck with it and checked around the corner - that's where I found a super steep staircase leading to a magical coffeeshop space. The second floor has it all: creaky wooden floors, broad sunny windows, exposed brick walls, high ceilings, a counter full of quirky merchandise including stickers, jewelry, bookmarks and more. There's a rack of curated vintage clothes and a bookcase wall. So - the setting is amazing and this would be the perfect place to meet a friend, or settle in for an afternoon and get some work done. The menu is seasonal - I tried a latte and my friend tried an iced matcha - both were delicious! Really glad I took the time to check out this unique spot.

First time here, so I'll definitely update when/if I can return…read more First impression: uber cute decor, I love all the plants, there are books, children's books, and the bathroom is serene. Free water and bottomless coffee refill in the corner. They sell balms, stickers, clothes, and more. Prices are a little steep, especially with a farmers market across the street, but options are always a good thing. I ordered a large latte. The menu states flavors are an extra .50 in the menu book, but I was charged $1. (Just an observation that the prices may not be correct on yeh menu book) They ask for tips, but I wouldn't. They don't clean up, you take your cups and plates to the trash area. We ordered the tacos. It did take 25 minutes to get it and it was not busy. Our coffee was ready pretty quickly. I presume (wild guess) that the food fixer dude is not good with multi tasking, or his desire to serve is lacking. Anyways, the serving size was good! The tacos were warm on top, but the eggs were cold on bottom. Plus they really had no flavor. My latte was warm at best and the coffee was not strong? I would suggest switching brands. The hot cocoa my husband got WAS delicious and stayed hot in the travel cup... so maybe that would help in the latte arena. The coffee server was by far very friendly. Thank you for Truly not being ugly, just an honest review. If I come back will try a coffee and a food item to see if it improved.

I love the berry basil toast but the last 3-4 times that I've been ordered it it's been horrible. Either the FRESH BASIL is missing, which has happened multiple times or now they apparently put dried basil that has no taste. Also, they only have strawberries and no blueberries because they were still frozen. If you don't have the ingredients take it off the menu. Try other locations because this one is not it. Posted a side by sides to show the difference and how bad the food quality has gotten.

My sister and I ordered 5 drinks ahead of our arrival and my sister went to the window to pick them up. She waited quite a while, but sadly, we're used to that here. What really upset us and the four kiddos in the car is that she was told they were out of frogs, then watched the guy at the window hand some to a coworker that had just arrived for her shift. It was a pick and choose and if you weren't cool by his standards, then you didn't get one. Not the first time something like this has happened with a drop and it probably won't be the last.

I ordered the eggs benedict and a biscuit on the side because I'm a fan of both. The biscuit was enormous and was served with what seemed like home-made jam. It was good, but on the dry side. The eggs benedict came with what I would describe as shoe-string home fries. Those didn't appeal to me all that much, but the eggs benedict was very good. There didn't seem to be quite enough staff members on duty. I had to make an effort to get and pay my bill. But all told, a satisfying meal and I'd go back. Ambiance is casual and would be family friendly.
