I placed a mobile order at 7:28 AM this morning for drive-through pick up. When I got there, they handed me a bag with my food items and my two hot beverages. I drove off to work, assuming everything would be as it should reflect on the order. When I arrive to work, I opened the bag. My oatmeal was not in the bag. The cinnamon pull apart bread was not warmed up. The chai tea latte was watered down and not made to Starbucks standard. I never complain or call Customer Service but today I most definitely did. They need to stop pushing the employees to work so fast so they can actually focus on quality service. Great faces and wonderful customer service. I notice that even if I order 10-15 minutes early on my app, then it won't always be ready upon arrival. Just during busy times. Terrible service; went inside this time: asked for 2 breakfast sandwiches, was told to look in cabinet to see if they had them. I have glaucoma so couldn't see small print on items. At first when I entered this Starbucks I was a little discouraged. The line was long and the store itself was very narrow. I was needing to work a bit and most of the tables were taken by people waiting on their order, many not even intending on staying but having to stand around and wait. But when finally I was able to place my order and a few people cleared I was able to find a table to sit. Still I felt like I was in the middle of the store close to the door because the placement of the sitting chairs are right in the middle of the area which typically I would see tables instead at other locations. I lucked into someone who was working at the only table not on this one wall closing up shop on what they were working on and leaving. I slipped over to this section and it was night and day from the section I had been seated in. Though only maybe 15 feet away, it was in a cove and much quieter for working. This completely changed my outlook on the store as a whole. My order itself was average but I have found that when you office from a Starbucks, seating is important! read more

Had a great experience when I took my sweet Chocolate Lab mix (5 month old puppy) through the drive-thru for his first puppachino after his Vet appointment. The girl that waited on me was so sweet and helpful. She also had a Chocolate Lab and assured me it would be fine for him as I didn't know if he was to young for it. I also didn't know it was free to customers for their dogs. How cool of Starbucks! The very, very long line and slow moving was sooo worth the happiness on my dogs face when he enjoyed his first cup! Im not sure if they are just training new employees or what, but im a very big starbucks fan and old employee. needless to say i get the same drink every single time, and i know the taste of it very well. i wouldnt normally do this, but ive given chance after chance. The past 5 drinks i've received have been made with white mocha instead of regular mocha. I hate white mocha, the taste is awful to me. Not only is the taste different but the color of the coffee itself is very different. The one before this most recent one i made a point to very clearly say Mocha. The employee had an attitude because of this, but im tired of wasting $8 on a coffee i hate. Today i mobile ordered it, maybe thinking it would be right this time and nope still White Mocha. Ive checked every label on every coffee ive gotten that was wrong and they all have said the right thing, but the contents are wrong. Ive also tried when i got home to mix the entire drink up, thinking that maybe the syrup was just stuck to the bottom and nope. I know i should probably say something when i realize its wrong, but i dont always catch it till ive left town and when i do, the line is to the service road and i have my baby with me, and its a bit much to take him out of the car to go inside and fix something that shouldnt keep happening. They have definitely lost a frequent customer, ill drive to denison before i go to this location again. read more

Why is this Starbucks always out of the stuff to make a strawberry frappe? I did have a barista that offered to make a vanilla frappe with strawberries in it, and it was good, but it's so odd to me that they can't keep necessary items on hand. It's a busy place, and they've made the seating less comfy and inviting. The drive-thru is impossibly long, and if you park in the wrong spot you'll be trapped there. Staff is usually helpful, but some of the usual oddball sorts can be annoying and distracting if you're trying to work there--talking to themselves, attention-seeking behavior, etc. read more

Meh. Not bad, yet could be so much better. This Starbuck's location is in a shopping plaza on the intersection of Highway 82 & 75 south. While the drive-thru is clearly the most dominant feature of this store, walk-in business takes a bit of a hit due to how badly the parking lot sucks. I mean, the engineers that designed this place could've done so much better than to have a teeny-tiny parking lot that the drive-thru traffic blocks you in for an indefinite amount of time. Customer service here meets expectations. In fact, they are a notch above friendly. My barista, a female firecracker by the name of "Potatoe" had a good spirit about her. Nothing short of exemplary as she made my drink effortlessly & with a bit of panache, smiling the entire time. You rock, Potatoe. Interior seating is reasonably, yet not exactly spacious. The small tables with the two chairs along the wall are really something. Nothing like having a customer's backside less than two feet from your drink while they wait in line to order. Ugh. This location seems to be built clearly for the "hurry up & give me my coffee fix" with its drive-thru service. Not that it's a terrible thing, but still. read more

I'm still a huge fan of Starbucks, but with the rise in popularity and the enormous amount of traffic that has descended upon the intersection of Hwys 75 & 82, getting in and out of the 'Bucks is a nightmare. Parking was already scarce and if you are lucky enough to grab a spot, beware of the snaking drive-thru line. It's like a turn at bumper cars trying to maneuver your way out of the lot. read more

Typically, I love this Starbucks. I order strange drinks and they always accommodate my "blendicano" needs and never over charge. The staff is so sweet and upbeat. However, on 8.6.14 my fiancé and I visited and were treated horribly. We had gone that morning and returned with a treat receipt. Got our usual green teas, and a caramel frap for a friend (why not, it's only $2). Anyway, the barista at the drive-thru was awful and disrespectful. She got our order wrong twice, and then had the audacity to blame us. I am sorry, but neither green tea or caramel frap sound like "cheese Danish". At the window she snapped at us for asking for an order repeat as the total did not match. She corrected it. We pulled away, only to realize she did not honor the treat receipt. My fiancé went back in and another (very sweet barista) refunded the full frap and apologized. Moral of the story; yes the service industry can be tough. However, there is no need to be rude to paying customers who are being nice to you. Maria, that is not the proper attitude of a Starbucks employee. Please seek further training. Has to be the rudest starbucks staff ever. I've never even thought to review a starbucks, but this place is ridiculous. Like being laughed at when you order a sandwich then told the burners are off honey? Yeah, me either... but you figure it's a starbucks, and just one sassy woman on the intercom so you go back another time. What about when you arrive way too close to closing and you get an inconvenienced sounding "we close in 5 minutes, everything is already clean" Ok, fine, just let me know. No need to sound snotty. Your life may revolve around the open hours of your starbucks, but I have no clue! But yeah, it's just one sassy woman on the intercom, so you go back another time. What about being informed that there was no such thing as a caramel apple cider and that it was a CARAMEL APPLE SPICE. When you ask if they're kinda the same thing? No, we don't CARRY THOSE, we carry a CARAMEL APPLE SPICE. Then you get the begrudging list of ingredients, which.. what? Sounds like a caramel apple cider except sub apple juice for powdered cider. Mhhm, couldn't simplify things by just ringing up that damn caramel apple spice? Then when you drive up to get your caramel apple spice, what happens? If you want to study here, be aware that the wi-fi out in the front is very weak. I was lucky to find a table in the back where the signal was stronger, but you catch a bit of bathroom traffic when you are back there. The service was fine and I enjoyed my chestnut praline coffee, although it was mostly whipped cream and less drink. This place is very busy in the evening and I saw people waiting for quite a while for their drinks. Also, the parking is kind of a hassle if you park out front since you run into the risk of backing to someone waiting in the drive-thru line. If I were to have a free afternoon to spend here, I would definitely reconsider coming for another study session granted I could get a decent seat and not have to wait forever for a drink, but I would avoid coming here if you need an in-and-out Starbucks experience. read more

As if it wasn't enough that they were unable to serve any espresso based drinks (or even hot chocolate) due to machine failures, the store was also completely filthy. You'll find the great coffee you would expect from Starbucks at this location. Seating area is a little smaller than most locations, but this is Sherman, a small town north of the DFW metroplex. One slight complaint...there is no clear way to get from the parking lot to the right of the store into the store without crossing the drive-thru, and if it is busy, you will be crossing right in front of a car at the ordering station. We went inside because the drive through was packed, not to mention the organization of how you enter is completely unacceptable.
