I have been using HTC streaming for the past 5 years. They give you a free Firestick and it didn't take long to figure out why. It looks very much like the app is only optimized to that device and smart TV users have to put up with glitches like certain channels that stall and may or may not come back, commercials that get stuck on a loop so you have to change channels and go back to get out of it or DVR recordings that stop suddenly then restart from the beginning forcing you to fast forward to where you left off. None of these issues are seen with the firestick. So if you want to avoid the issues which I have reported and never been resolved (recently they tweaked my internet connection and it is still happening) your smart TV needs to keep the firestick plugged in just for this app. I've given up reporting issues to their support because having done software tech support I know only rolling a patch will resolve it. This service now comes with my HOA so I really don't want to now pay for yet another streaming service. read more

I have a few dealings with HTC in the past and would be remiss if I did not give them a thumbs up for great service My most recent call was for a rouyer installatoon and the representative was on time and even called ahead to let me know he was on the way. He covered his feet with booties upon entering my home and was quick to install and test my service. Thank you HTC for a great experience. read more

Just got off the phone with I believe her name was Amber and she could not have been more helpful. Needed to change our installation date and she couldn't have been more accommodating or nicer. My new house had a multi-room surround sound system that worked fine before installer came to connect my phone and internet. A few weeks later noticed my sound system was no longer working. Found out, the man ripped out the whole wiring system and Distribution Module in the communication box. Called HTC and spoke to supervisor who called us liars and "his" guy would have never done this. His "guy" was the ONLY person that had access to the communication box other then us. He then made the statement that the system never worked and we were trying to get surround sound equipment we never had. Well...the painter witnessed it working, the realtor knew it was working because the system was on when you entered the house. The previous owners knew it worked and even the Zillow listing stated the home has surround sound. As of this date, we have no surround sound and are in the process of getting the police involved. BEWARE of this company!!! They are thieves! read more

I have had my internet service with HTC for 3 years now. Have the fastest WiFi ever!! Never slows down no matter how many devices are connected or what is running on devices. Today my connection was lost and I had no idea why so I called customer service and here is my experience with that. My call was answered promptly and after just 8 minutes, the promblem was solved. The representative was very friendly and quick to resolve the issue. I am overall very pleased with my service and just realized how amazing HTC is! Three years and this was my first time having an issue and it was resolved ASAP! read more

I switch to HTC after a number of years with Direct. I had problems with the service for the first week after installation. However, HTC customer support was outstanding. They had someone out immediately and it turned out to be a host of problems. They were out almost every day, but the service techs were outstanding. They are worth the customer service alone. read more

This place is the worst customer service is awful I waited on the phone over 40 minutes listening to the same crap over and over. They also charge you if you need service If I could fix my own TV I would I think they charge too much already now a charge to come to your house and they expect you to just wait all day this is ridiculous ! HTC on demand absolutely sucks. We were told 3 months ago that their system was being upgraded and after waiting 3 months it's only gotten worse. We are not able to watch any shows, especially on CBS. HTC says we dont pay for it so it's not added to our bill but when a customer signs up got something with all the bells and whistles, we expect to at least get what is advertised. read more

Tried to sign up for service ... 3 days later when it was to be installed they indicated a delay because they had to send someone to see if construction needed. Definitely a sign. Customer service sorely lacking. Only problem is I hate Spectrum more. read more
