My driveway at my new home was extended 1 week before Contract Exteriors' materials were delivered. The concrete company presented me with a letter stating the driveway was extended/repaired and had no defects before the delivery of the materials. The owner of the Concrete company said that if necessary, they are willing to go to court to testify. The delivery of the materials was not needed or used in the area where the damage to the driveway is located. I did not agree to damage to any parts of my property. Furthermore, your contractor delivered the materials using a forklift and delivered them to the wrong area. The installers from your company carried the materials from the front of my home to the rear and left side of my home by hand. All deliveries to the homes in my neighborhood that are transported by truck, the trucks park on the street/road and carry deliveries onto our properties. I paid Contract Exteriors company over $16,000, sixteen thousand dollars, and expected my property not to be damaged. The explanation for damaging my property is not covered by the agreement. Furthermore, the agreement states that damages to the driveway caused by the dumpster Contract Exteriors is not liable. There is nothing about a forklift in the contract. The contract agreement that I have shows a license with 10/31/2024 expiration date. The damage was caused by negligence, and the destruction to my property had nothing to do with what Contract Exteriors was contracted for. The original contract was for siding on the left side of my house and a screen porch in the back of my house. The damage to the front driveway was not included in your written agreement and should not have been used or damaged. I have a video recording from my Ring, which shows the Forklift in the damaged area. I've received two estimates for repairing my driveway, and they are both over $4000.00. Contract Exterior refuses to take ownership and states the contract holds them harmless of any damages. The contract is written to protect Contract Exteriors and does not protect the customer. It was a fiasco. They didn't do things that were promised, they delayed our punch list for weeks, we asked to speak to Randy on numerous occasions. He always had someone else contact. The "second in command" tried to bully us into accepting inferior and incomplete work. Thankfully, we held $$ back or I don't think we would have ever had a finished product. They also change project managers so often your head spins. I would never recommend them or use the again. Also, their quality survey people will only allow you to complete the survey if the can send it to CE with your name attached. That is not how survey research is conducted read more

It started out good....they installed covered porch on home. I understood what I would be getting and agreed to cost. To make long story short...I didn't end up with promised product. Sales guy told me numerous times that I shouldn't have signed off on project. (When completed) in their minds...... I DID question the builder several times ( during build) and main guy told me that he Only Drove The Nails....talk to project manager. We ended up getting owner involved and thought we had everything under control BUT NO! He soon disappeared and never called back to check in. I left last message a few weeks ago for project manager...Heath to call me....there are parts of the porch just lying around....I did pick up everything and put in a box ...trying to figure out where they go?...... My Mom needed TOTAL replacement of her stucco due to this Pulte Home BS that caused the stucco to fail. Over $2,400 in rotten wood to be replaced. They took out some of the windows which caused drywall damage which will cost $400 to repair (they won't cover interior drywall damage). She went with vinyl siding. The initial work started smoothly. The workers got all the old stucco off, wood replaced, windows secured and then everything stopped for 4 weeks. Nothing being done. One blaming the other for issues. The job started in June and it's still not done as of this review. People tell us they will be here and never show up. They tell us on such and such a day, we will be there to work. Never show up. This has been the worst experience not to mention very stressful. On top of everything, they want the last payment of over $10,000 even before the job is done. Please, if you need work like this, consider another company. Don't go through what we have. It's almost criminal. read more

High cost, low workmanship. 14 months with a new roof and it leaks. I tried to get them to fix their improper installation but they don't seem to care. There are many other options...I suggest you try another company for any home repairs. read more

It began to leak and the crooks wouldn't take responsibility, they refused to answer my calls, then moved. Enough of them. After being in this situation, I found it difficult to find a reputable contractor to make the repairs. I contacted Home Advisor, who referred me to Contract Exteriors. They sent a Roofing Inspector come to my home to evaluate the damages, but first, the cause. He found pounds of nails on my roof and that the crooks had skip nailed it. There was no installation kits around my skylights. No wonder I had interior leaks. Randy sent his men to the rescue. The Roof Inspector was so appalled by what he saw, he came back with his men and they removed and replaced the roof vent and tiles. He ordered installation kits for the skylights and installed them. He checked the exterior and attic, as well as the interior, to make sure there would be no leaks. Randy sent John, the manager in charge of the interior repairs. John called and told me he wanted to wait a few weeks to see if there are any leaks. We had a rain deluge and John came over to inspect if there were any further damage. He had his men come to my home, and make the repairs. All in all the whole project was done in less than 4 weeks. In that time, I had the opportunity to speak to the office manager, who was so kind and helpful. I wanted to thank this office in person for all they had done for me. They felt bad that I was left in this situation and were right there for me. I spoke to Randy himself, and told him that I would be pursuing litigation against the crooks. I felt like Randy was my big brother, with his protective arm around me. He told me not to worry about them, and provided me with paperwork I needed to pursue my case. I was really pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of the Contract Exterior personnel from start to finish. What I liked about this company in particular is their attention to detail and their commitment to keeping their promises. They kept in touch with me every step of the way while repairing my roof. What was surprising was, once they left each day, despite all the shingles and bits of wet wood while they were busy working, the parking lot looked like nobody had been there at all during the day. Another plus is that the crew didn't bring a boom box and put it on the roof and play loud music while they worked. Our roof was leaking badly and since this is our 2nd home we rent out to others, we needed to get it fixed immediately. I called Contract Exteriors to see what availability they had to come over and give us an estimate. They came the next day and give us an awesome price! They realized how bad the situation was and made time in their schedule to make us a priority! This company installed the siding on my home built in 2016. I recently had a piece of siding blow off and crack due to the wind. I contacted them back in early March to see if they would replace this one piece for me, since it was flapping off the side of my house. I was unable to get an appointment until April 17th, over a month later. Closer to the date of the appointment, they called and rescheduled two times and told me that earliest would be June that they would be able to replace this piece for me. They may do well with big jobs but if you are a person that needs help after the fact....don't count on it. The office staff, I will say, is very friendly and professional though. read more

Still waiting for these bums, 3300 dollars and their workers screwed my porch up. Supervisor took pictures-as we did of screw ups. Sent total of eight different workers to do the job, said we will be back and that was a year ago- won't even take calls. I was promised certain things by the very polished salesman Shawn who was our initial contact. He was not a contractor but suggested many things for our new Hardie re-siding which we desperately needed. Any questions I asked he would answer but would readily say if it were a specific technical contractor question, the contractor would address prior to starting. I asked if I could do a walk through with the actual on-site contractor prior to our start and he said yes. He promised an unsurpassed level of quality, top notch crews, detailed website pictures of the progress and that Hardie Siding themselves would send out inspectors periodically to inspect Contract Exteriors work. The day of the start of the job I was to meet the contractor at 7:45 as I had to be at work at 8:30. He showed at 8:15 and we did a very hurried, incomplete walk through and a couple items, the contractor contradicted the salesman Shawn. Long story short, the promises made by the salesman were not fulfilled and I went to him directly ( as anyone should who has a problem with an individual prior to posting on social media), expressed my concern about his over-promised job and he simple stated that other than these 4 items lacking was I satisfied!? I then pointed out that light fixtures, electrical covers, gutter guard and downspout brackets were lost and one fixture broken by his crew. I pointed out they had reattached fixtures with interior drywall screw and hid wires in one fixture that a separate electrician found and revealed to us when we reported the light didn't work. At the final walkthrough, the contractor Derek fixed, repaired or replaced our punchlist and again I met with him and the salesman together and a second time expressed my disappointment with the overpromised/underdelivered discrepancies made by the salesman. They made no concessions in our price which was about 8K higher than equivalent bids. Before posting this and calling Hardie, I made an email request to talk to the owner Randy Hann directly. He has not returned my request to speak 'which again makes me question the 'top notch' service and quality of Contract Exteriors. Finally, the salesman said if we completed a survey, we would get a $50 gift certificate. I did complete the survey and after not receiving the gift card, called Contract Exteriors and inquired about it and have heard back from no-one; yet another unfilled promise. read more

I hired Contract Exteriors to install new fiber cement siding on my home. My wife and I couldn't have been more pleased! They did a fantastic job and really were true professionals throughout the entire process. I highly recommend using them. read more
