Although we were outside of his service area, Jim still took the time to help us. After getting a $1,400 quote from another company, we contacted Atlantic. Jim spoke with us over the phone, diagnosed the issue right away, told us exactly which parts to buy from a local home improvement store, and even gave us a realistic idea of what a local handyman should charge to install them. He said he'd be happy to walk us through the repair over the phone if we decided to tackle it ourselves -- all completely free of charge! We weren't aware we needed one and there was a sign posted that said walk ins welcome. He left us to wander the store on our own and didn't come over to ask if we had questions or pay us any attention at all really. We asked to take home a couple of samples. He gave us a business card. After a few days, I contacted him to set up a measurement appointment. He came out and did the measurements and said he'd get back to me the next day with a quote. I waited, but didn't receive the email he'd said he would send. A day or so later, I missed a call from him while working. I returned his call that afternoon, but got no response. I tried twice the next day with no results. I decided to wait until today while I wasn't working to try once more. I left voicemails every time I called. I left one this morning and got no response by their closing time today. I'm through trying to give them any business. There are too many other places to go where I would hope we'd be treated in a more considerate manner.

We hired Jason to assemble a high quality aluminum pergola that we purchased online after doing…read moremuch research. Although the manufacturer indicated this was a DIY type assembly, the instructions convinced us otherwise. It was definitely a two man job and required the right tools. Jason brought a partner and did the assembly on a pretty cold day in January. They arrived on time and did a great job, including securing the pergola to an new concrete patio slab, hauling away all the packaging materials and cleaning up the job site.
