I would not recommend this place for alterations due to the poor customer service I experienced. When I arrived to drop off my items, I had to wait for someone to assist me. Once the employee came out, I was not greeted and the interaction felt very unwelcoming. As I explained the alterations I needed, his responses came across as rude and dismissive. I dropped off my items on a Saturday and was told they would be ready the following Wednesday. On Tuesday, I called to check if they might possibly be ready early. Instead of simply answering the question, the employee responded by asking, "What day did I tell you?" When I replied "Wednesday," he then asked, "And what day is today?" in a very condescending tone. After asking for my ticket number, he eventually confirmed that my items were ready for pickup. Additionally, when I later went to wear my uniform, I noticed a piece was missing that had not been mentioned during pickup. Overall, the lack of professionalism and the disrespectful communication made this a disappointing experience. Because of this, I would not recommend this business to others. read more

I had a beaded, real leather skirt that needed 7 inches removed from the waist, and after taking it to five different alteration shops, I was repeatedly told it couldn't be done. My friend told me she was charged $90 to get her dress shortened and to get another altercation done at another tailor shop, I was charged $120 here just to get my dress shortened. Not coming here again, however they did a good job so in a case of emergency I would recommend, but otherwise most likely not. read more

decided to try a new alteration place, huge mistake!!!! upon arriving there was no one in the shop. Five minutes later a man walks in, doesn't greet us, walks straight past us. we tell him the service that we need which was just a hem to match another clothing item in length he says "that doesn't matter it's whatever." we KINDLY ask for an estimation on how many days it would take and he rudely responds "I don't know. you tell me" I don't understand why they are so many positive reviews because we definitely had the complete opposite experience. The owner is super knowledgeable, fast, and friendly. I came in to tailor my suit and it turned out perfect. He is up to date on the latest trends and I will definitely be back to get my other suits tailored here. He is also very honest. I took a well fitting dress shirt for him to tailor. But he didn't take the job because he is honest and told me that it didn't need to be tailored. Tailoring it more would have been uncomfortable, and he knew that. I also took him my first baggy pants to hem. He recommended a length that was a bit long for me, but he explained his thought process and I decided to trust him. I love how the hemming turned out, with his recommendation. I feel comfortable in baggy trousers now and will bring him another pair soon! read more

PROFESSIONAL WOMEN BEWARE! First, the quality of the service was frankly appalling. I brought several professional skirts and trousers to be altered a couple sizes down. For most, it took coming back at least FOUR times to be done correctly. E.g. Lopsided stitching, partial work, too tight or barely altered. And they lost one pair of trousers. Note that Owner required Zelle payment in advance but on later visits I observed that was not the case for other customers. BUT THE WORST PART: On later visit, the owner stated that maybe the work was poorly done because the seamstresses he employs may disagree with my clothing because women shouldn't have such jobs and wear such clothing!!! I suspect it was the owner that held such beliefs. I AM JUST FLABBERGASTED that in 2025 in the Bay Area of all places, we still have such backwards-minded people! (AND YES, I am preparing a formal complaint to submit to the CA Civil Rights Department.). read more

I have taken so many things here for alterations, shirts, jackets (including a leather one), and pants. I'm always given a warm greeting despite everyone being so busy. Each time my clothes come out perfectly. I was very worried about taking my $2,000 leather jacket there to get sleeves shortened, but they did an amazing job (it's perfect). I took 2 casual jackets there and they now fit perfectly. It doesn't mater what you need altered, they do an amazing job each time. Can't say enough good things about this place. Originally brought in one shirt to be altered after losing 50 lbs. The single shirt was done on time, perfectly and for a very reasonable price. I then brought in four more shirts. He fit me for one and used that as a template for the others. All of them were done exactly when the owner said they would. All of them had the same quality work. I had an indian outfit that came from India that was stitched together with no body shape in mind and the guys here did wonders on making it a masterpiece. I took a bridesmaid dress here that I bought online to be loosened. He priced it at $48. I came back and asked him if he could shorten it a bit more. My fault for not asking how much it was gonna cost. When I came back to pick up the dress, he charged me $65 to shorten it - for a whopping total price of $113!!! It was more than what I paid for the dress. Another shop's quote was $25 but I went with Hasaad because he already had my dress. I won't be coming back. What a rip-off. read more

I needed to get my Afghan dress altered because it did not fit around my back at all! It needed to basically be resized. I was nervous however because I wasn't sure how it would look considering I brought such a big job only 2 weeks before a wedding that I was attending. They did a fantastic job in not only altering the back of the dress so that it fit, but also making sure that it was ready by the promise date so I did not have to worry.
