They do have many vegetarian options, and the setting is neat, clean and there is one big Green sofa right in the middle that catches your attention as soon as you arrive at the sitting area which is right behind the bar- ah yes, they have a bar too. I ordered the Gaucamame , which is a mix of Guacamole and edmame that was supposed to have 2 options of corn chips or flar bread. I wanted flat bread, which you know...is flat Bread, but what they gave was certainly deep fried and not as expected. The gauc was not made fresh, it had the blackish tinge it gets when u expose an open avocado to air for long, so, though I agree gaucamame was interesting, it was not as fresh. The other order was Quinoa falafel. It was really yummy but too green to think there was any quinoa in it, didn't taste any quinoa at all. I was really looking forward to a southwest steak salad for lunch. Went and picked it up to-go. I get back to my desk and realize there's NO STEAK!!! $14.00 Salad!!! Then, I realized this is not even Southwest! I watched them put the correct southwest ingredients into the bowl, but did not see the steak get added. This is all veggies with strawberries and carrots, cabbage and some nasty beet top! GROSS! I called the restaurant and they made it right. My family and I purchased the SHANGHAI SOY GINGER CHICKEN BOWL, chicken taco, steak taco, and buffalo chicken wrap. Everything was really yummy and flavorful. The best item was the chicken bowl. We stumbled across this gem while trying to find some healthy and savory eats. We had their Thai grilled shrimp salad and crunchy duck salad. Both were so fresh and delicious. The Thai salad had a little bit of heat in the dressing which I really enjoyed. The crunchy duck salad was deliciously paired with the cilantro lime dressing. I'll definitely be coming back and see myself becoming a regular once my office in Greenway Plaza opens up again. My recommendation for improvement is their customer service/professional tact with their customers. I called my order in and when I went to pick up- the register was abandoned and it took a while for anyone to notice I was there and ready to pay. When I was finally noticed, I paid and was getting ready to leave when I realized I was forgetting my lemonade. The cashier realized this as well and went to fill my drink. In the middle of it- she was interrupted by a coworker and went on to carry a full conversation while I just waited there. There's nothing wrong with talking to your coworkers but to do it while a customer is waiting on an item is generally untactful. read more

My friend chose the location, I just happened to have already had it in my bookmarks. Lucky me! For real tho... Situated in the galleria area, this spot is nestled in a strip center. While Alison took about 20 minutes to make up her mind, I went with crispy Duck Fontina Pizza, and started with Texas Caviar as an appetizer. The Caviar, (which is not real caviar, in case you're wondering), was surprisingly flavorful and pretty sturdy. The pizza tho.... Damn. Nothing was overpowering. It was an orchestra of flavor being conducted in perfect harmony, in my mouth. Alison went with shrimp tacos, which were good. But not Duck Pizza good. I truly enjoyed this. They had some decent lemonade, and teas. I mixed it. It was good. But the food is what's up. The facility was very nice and had a good feel to it. Looks like a cute spot when you walk in, bar area is big and has large comfy chairs, but bar was sticky and there were only 2 of us at the bar, with only 3 other tables sat in the restaurant. Shrimp Thai salad had 5 tiny shrimp, that tasted frozen on the inside and charred on outside, but 2 were still stuck together. Dressing was thick and sweet like a dipping sauce. $20 for salad and a tea, but I'd skip this place. FYI they don't offer calorie/ nutrition information for their soups. read more

Love it here! I've been coming here since they first opened. Serving grapefruit juice and orange juice in plastic cups and they were still offering stamps. Buy 10 get 1. My favorite go to dishes has always been the southwest chicken wrap and the duck fontina pizza. Those two are just soooo bomb. I bought some for my salon and my sisters salon and it was a complete hit! They all loved it the pizza. The southwest wrap is my sister's and my favorite. It's just so refreshing and we're a sour type lover so we add even more lemons on top! Yummm The staff here is really nice they're always on top of things. This place is a very cool Healthy Choice restaurant. I love the splashes of green furniture that are incorporated arpund HS Green. They have a bar area that serves beer, wine, smoothies and juices. Pretty awesome. For starters we ordered the hummus. Was not a fan at all. It almost had the consistency of baba ganoush. Not my favorite. I did love the flatbread chips that it came with though!!! For our entrees we ordered the Southwest wrap with chips and salsa and the Greek Feta Chicken pizza. Both of these dishes were so delicious. There is a very nice man that works in the food line that recommended these. I wish I got his name. Everyone was so polite and helpful. By the way, that sweet and spicy salsa that is served as a part of the chips and salsa.... we loved it. Cool new spot, but I will say that I would have never ventured upon it had I not happened to meet up with a friend in that shopping strip. In other words, I've never heard of it, whether through advertising or word of mouth. It's the old Chinese Cafe, but you would never guess walking in there. It's completely revamped! This place has a Salata feel, but it has a lot more options - not just salad. They have pizza, sandwiches, soup, and other entrees like salmon. Their menu is a bit odd in that it's one set price for the salad, regardless of what protein you choose (so of course I chose steak). It was good, but I will say the toppings do not look as fresh as other comparable places. I also tried their chicken tortilla soup which I thought was too thick and creamy and not very soup-y. You're probably wondering why I'm giving it four stars based on what I've said so far. Truth is, I like the concept, the price is reasonable, the service is great (we sat at the bar and enjoyed a glass of wine (another plus - they have wine), and the atmosphere is very trendy. So this a review of a couple of items I purchased. Great products: 1. I loved their Vietnamese wraps such great flavor on the shrimp. 2. The Horchata latte was delicious! 3. Great service. Not so good: I was a bit disappointed on the shrimp tacos it's just so plain. It only had purple cabbage, a slice of lime. The salsa was good. Not sure if I just thought had other ingredients. I went and picked up an order, and I would've loved to dine inside someday after checking it out for the first time. The inside is very aesthetic with hanging ball lights and natural wooden counters and benches. The place looked very clean, and was like a mix between a nice coffee shop and brunch place. They had hand sanitizer when you first walked in, practiced social distancing, and were all wearing masks inside. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Greek feta with grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was made to perfection: soft, warm, with nice blend of spices. The pizza had a healthy blend of spinach and tomatoes. Even though the pizza wasn't rich in sauces, the flavor was not missing at all. And if you like thin crust, this is amazing. The menu items looked fresh and there were a variety of healthy options. My first time, I came during lunch and got the steak salad with one of my coupons and it was very good. A nice, big salad with freshly grilled steak and a great dressing. The reason for the three star review is because of my second visit. I called in a pickup order for two of their pizzas. The chicken and mushroom and the Margherita. We picked them up about 8:30. It was just very disappointing. They just looked like they were haphazardly thrown together by someone who really doesn't care about the customer. The Margherita pizza was NOT made properly. It was basically just a cheese pizza. Shredded cheese all over the pizza with a pile of chopped up basil in the center and pretty much no sauce (see photos.) Plus they put lettuce/tomato/onions after it has "No Toppings" requested. The manager I spoke to on the phone was rude and made me feel like it was my fault. She said "it's not enough to unselect the ingredients you don't want, you have to put it in the notes", absolutely unacceptable. I haven't been this impressed with a local restaurant in a while. It's has a focus on clean eating with a healthy focus. Simple ingredients with a large selection. You add anything you want or design it yourself. They do serve burgers and tacos and beer and wine. So you can eat here anytime. I really enjoyed HS Green when I went there, I've been meaning to go for a while now, but am rarely close enough to swing by. The food all seemed very fresh and highly health conscious. The chicken sandwich I ordered was light, flavorful, and a really great size to fill me up but not feel heavy afterwards. I think it was pan seared? Don't expect it to be a fried chicken sandwich like many other restaurants. The sweet potato fries were fresh and not too greasy, but still seemed heavy in comparison to the light sandwich. I would get them again if you're worried that "light" food will keep you hungry.
