Over the past 7 years, we have used HPI pluming at least 4 times. Sometimes it was for simple issues, a running toilet or leaking faucet. Twice we had a leak from the upstairs bathroom down into the garage. Each time they were able to locate the leak, once in the wall the other time under the bathtub. They were able to fix the leaks each time quickly and at a fair price. They explained what was happening at each step to locate and then fix the repairs. We were very happy with their work. They also were able to replace our outside pressure regulator for much less than was quoted by a plumber who was working on my neighbors home at the time. read more

WORST plumbing company EVER! After purchasing my first new home, I was referred to this company by a friend who had a good experience when the father owned the company but now the son has taken over and he does not care AT ALL and is shady. I spoke with the new owner/son, Ryan, and sent him a picture of my rusted-out plumbing under the bathroom sink and he said someone would call to make an appointment. Teyo called, made an appointment and came out to look at the plumbing in the bathroom at 7:30 am. He said he could "replace the faucet". When I asked what was going on with the plumbing, he just kept repeating he could "replace the faucet". I asked if that was going to correct the plumbing issue, he said yes without any explanation whatsoever, so I was confused, was the plumbing issue going to be fixed or not? Since this company came so highly recommended, I assumed he would correct the rusted-out plumbing under the sink easily so asked him if he could replace two other faucets (not rusted out) that I had already purchased and replace 7 angle stops, he said yes, no problem. Then he told me he would be back in 20 minutes. When he returned at 8 am he had a child with him who appeared to be around 12-13 years old. Teyo didn't mention who the child was or what he was doing there. They went to work in the downstairs bathroom together and the next thing I know Teyo is working in the upstairs bathroom and the unlicensed minor was working in the downstairs bathroom. Teyo finished the job by 10 am and handed me an invoice for almost $1400! I told him I didn't expect an invoice anywhere near that amount since he was only in my home for two hours and I had supplied the three faucets. When I asked him how he came to this amount he just pointed to the invoice which was not broken down. I ended up paying it and texted Ryan to call me saying I had questions about the bill and didn't think it was correct. After multiple messages, he finally called me back several days later and I said I didn't think the invoice was correct and asked him to break it down for me. He said he hadn't looked at the invoice and would do so and get back to me. I also spoke with him about Teyo bringing a child to my home without introducing him and said the child was working on my plumbing without my consent or any supervision saying I hired a licensed plumber, not an unlicensed inexperienced minor. Ryan said he was on spring break and it's better for him to be on the job than at home playing video games, "that's how they learn", he said. Ryan AGAIN said he would look at the bill and call me back. NEVER heard back from him. I texted several times and called, no response from Ryan. EVER! * Overpriced, inaccurate, ridiculous bill for the work that was done * Underaged, unlicensed child working in my home without my consent * No response to my questions about the bill * Extremely unprofessional * No customer service I would not recommend them at all, terrible experience. read more

I was referred to this company from a friend's referral. Initially, I contacted Ryan at HPI, who was helpful and responsive initially in getting me in contact with his worker Teyo. Teyo was responsive and came out quickly to fix my toilet leakage. However, before the repair, there was no written quote/estimate. It was verbal and not very clear what needed to be done but I went with it and had him fix my leak before it got worse. He was friendly , quick and got the job done. I then reached out to Ryan via phone call, text, email for an invoice since I sent payment via Venmo and NO response or follow up from Ryan. I would like more detail on what was done, and have an invoice in hand but cannot get a hold of anyone that will provide this. read more

Ryan and his company are the only plumbers we will call. They always respond to our emergencies quickly. When he or the brothers are here they are always polite and work wonders. They have come for a simple clogged toilet, a clogged sink. We have used they for a repipe of the entire house and yesterday they fixed a gas leak. The workers are always nice and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend HPI for all hour needs. Sal. read more

They left all the dry wall, brock my Garage cabinet & did not clean after their work! They said that they never fix a drywall!!! Will never use them again! read more

Dan, Kevin and Charlie are first rate plumbers. I've hired them several times now, including a whole house re-pipe, new water heater and simple things like faucets and drain cleaning. These guys don't just take their work seriously, they are passionate about plumbing, like an artist would be passionate about their painting or song. Every time I call them they tell me when they can stop by and they are always on time and polite. Their prices are very competitive, too. HUGE THUMBS UP!! read more

Customer service is terrible, I wanted to understand their charges to work with the insurance company. she does not know and yet she refused to let me talk to someone who knows. read more

I had hpi trimona through first American home warranty. Our garbage disposal needed to be replaced that was covered by the warranty. The guy came and after checking, he said we had to pay $225 extra in addition to the home warranty fee of $75. After challenging and requesting several times for explanation, they finally said they have to extend the line, but could not elaborate more as to what line. Finally, I called a different plumber myself and he came and replaced the unit for $175 all together and no line needed to be extended. HPI Plumbing seem to be one of the most dishonest plumbers around. I do not recommend them at all. read more

Called and they said they'd call back within an hour when they were on the way. No call within the hour. Called again and was told the same thing. Still no call. Called Roto-rooter who showed up in 20 minutes with two guys and a giant snake. Fixed it within 30 minutes. Included pads for spillage and then soaped up any remaining mess. Impressed with Roto-rooter. Not so much with Hannegan. . . read more

Kevin and his Dad are lovely people! Kevin is always so flexible and helpful.... Thanks for making these annoying repairs manageable!

Ryan sent Miguel to our home to address the leaky faucet that was looking water under our cabinet. We finally have a kitchen faucet that can actually wash dishes! Miguel went to the local Ferguson's, picked us out a new faucet, and installed it right away. We never knew that a new faucet could bring so much joy. If we would have installed when we first moved here, we could have had water pressure. We had no idea there was build up and that was causing the low pressure. After Miguel fixed us up he went to a friend of ours who had the same problem and fixed them right up too. Bravo. read more

Was told they'd be there on a Friday. They called Friday to say they can't come until Sat but would be there 8 am sharp. Called Sat morn to say "running late" . By 9:30 no word and didn't answer phone. Had to call another plumber that did show up. Non-reliable when you need them. read more

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the quality of work we received from HPI Plumbing. Our water heater had broke and leaked water through the wood stand it was sitting on and into our garage. Ryan sent two men to replace the water heater. He quoted us $1200 over the phone and said it may be "a little more" because of the water damage. The two men did not repair the drenched wood stand it was sitting on and started to re-use the old soaking wet wood planks to put underneath the new water heater, until my husband said wait what are you doing and said no way. The two men did not bring any supplies to use for the stand so my husband gave them old wood planks that we happened to have in our backyard. So they placed OUR wood planks over an existing drenched plywood and they were happy with that job. In addition, these guys never placed a pan or tray underneath our new water heater. Not quality work in our eyes. When the job was all done, we were quoted $1650 from these guys and we asked why. We were told it was because they are leaving two fans to dry out underneath the stand. We called Ryan and told him the situation and his initial response was well, they built you a new stand and that's why it's more. I told him that they absolutely did not build us a new stand and told him that the plywood is the old drenched plywood and that our wood planks that were in our backyard were used. Was a new stand supposed to have been built? If that's the case, then absolutely I would have paid the $1650 for quality work. All of this was acceptable to Ryan and it really disappoints us that he didn't make it right with building us a new stand. We would not recommend them. read more

Awesome! Had a main line stoppage at 8PM. Kevin said, "why dont I just come by now and have a look?" When it comes to plumbing, I'm always worried about taking a $ hit, so I called around. Eventually I called Hannegan-what I received was top notch, 5 star service, at 9PM, for a very reasonable price-almost unbelievable in this day&age. Hannegan is the first and only plumber I plan on calling from this point forward. read more

Kevin is amazing! Water leak....he came and fixed the problem and it was within my budget. It was more reasonable than I thought. I had a huge leak while on vacation and these guys saved my house, I got home and they had the wet drywall cut out, carpet dried out and all cleaned up! I have used them for small jobs and a full house re-pipe since then. The owners are super nice and down to earth and all the employees are great and always on time. They are quick to reply to calls. I highly recommend them! read more

Ryan Hannegan and his workers did a great job! I had them re-pipe my whole house (re-route from out of the slab), put in all new fixtures, new toilet, reposition the outside water spigot and install a water softener. It was a huge job- my ceiling and walls looked like swiss cheese with all the holes in it. But it all turned out perfect. The drywall guys he used did an excellent job. You can't tell where they patched things, the textures are all exact (and the textures in different rooms from the ceilings to the walls were different). All the workers were great and everything was done in a timely manner. I had to have them come back for a few things and they always worked with my schedule and were accommodating. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs you have! His crew was friendly, knowledgable and trustworthy. read more

Great customer service. Not only is the work they do excellent, fast and reasonably priced -- they took care of all the issues with the infuriating Home Warranty bureaucrats. My hot water heater sprung a bad leak Friday afternoon and no one would else would come out to even take a look. Ryan had one of his people take care of the whole thing right away! Very nice people too. Professional and polite. read more

WORST PLUMBER I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. He refused to stand behind his work, Had to be coerced to remedy mistakes. While he may appear to be a nice guy. He is irresponsible and took over 90 days to install proper parts. In addition, he is in position of parts that I need and refuses to return my property. If this is not enough his work is not up to building code. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

Hannegan Plumbing gets an A+++++ and Ryan Hannegan is a superstar. It was a Saturday at 2 pm and our water heater was leaking. I called Hannegan Plumbing (google search) Ryan picked right up and said "I will there in an hour!" He was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He installed our new water heater and did extras too like replacing a broken valve, cleaned up, and made sure everything was working properly before he left. We did not pay "emergency plumbing prices" like every other plumber would charge just because it was a Saturday. Their prices are very competitive and super reasonable (price was slightly less than Lowes and Home Depot) and the service was stellar! I will refer Hannegan Plumbing to everyone I know and will absolutely use them again! read more

I consulted with three plumbers prior to running a gas line to my backyard fire pit. I felt most comfortable working with Ryan at HPI, so I hired them. I am not impressed at all.. I called on wednesday and spoke with Ryan. I described the problem and asked him to call my tenant that day to schedule a convenient time to come by to fix the problem - this was about 9 am and she never heard from him though he took all the information and told me he would contact her to schedule. Obviously, Hannegan doesn't need the business. Reliability is certainly questionable - that is a problem. read more

We had just moved into our new house in JAN 2013 and noticed that our monthly water bill had increased over 100+% in 6 months. We couldn't figure out why. I searched and found HPI and they immediately came over to troubleshoot. My wife and I had our worst nightmare come true as first time home owners- a slab leak from the main line after only moved in for 10 months. Ryan and his team scheduled with us the re-pipe of our entire entire house (built in 1979) as well as worked with local construction team to help re-build our kitchen, floors, walls, paints etc.. An enormous job that took many men. They re-pipe was done in 1-2 days. Unbelievable how quickly they were able to tackle this job for us. They shared our sympathy and certainly provided us the support we needed to remain calm and work with our home insurance to cover the fixes. HPI was magnificent to say the least, so much that we asked them back to help with new fixtures for our bathrooms and to also install a tankless water heater- my old one busted after the re-pipe a few month afterwards. We pretty much have a new house now. :)) Chris, Ryan, John, and many other are due for recognition for their teamwork. read more
