I called Joe, explaining the problem with my "mix-it" old shower system. He explained why it would be best to changeout the system entirely with a better setup. This meant cutting through a fiberglass shower wall to access pipes to modify, as access from the other side of the wall could not be done. Joe is great! A contractor accidentally hit our main water pipe while digging. Turned out we needed to update the pipe anyway according to Santa Margarita Water District. We couldn't move forward with our walkway and patio project until the pipe was fixed. I called Joe and he came out next morning. And he changed out some of our irrigation pipes and re-routed them along the house. What we thought to be a straight forward fix ended up having leak issues due to old pipes. I was so pleased with his work overall. I'm not the person who's going to post pictures of my sink (yawn), but Joe made it 100% better. It was a very expensive farm sink (which I cannot afford to replace now on a fixed income), and very difficult to keep clean from food particles due to of its very flatness. Joe put in a new garbage disposal, and it makes an amazing difference. He also fixed the water lines which were incorrectly installed (homeowner error). It'll take me a minute to get used which way is hot and cold (I had a sticker labeling it for five years), but the change is welcome. I highly recommend Joe The Plumber. I have a little plumbing knowledge and I tend to be a perfectionist. First thing he always wore shoe covers in the house without me asking him to do so. I have hired other plumbing companies in the past to come to do something and they send a young man who is learning and making mistakes at my home. The young man is working under the license of the owner. I learned not to hire someone like that. Joe is the owner and he comes out to do the work. He installed kitchen faucet, air gap, replaced 2 angle stops, soap dispenser, P-trap and garbage disposal.
