Five stars for Ryan Harper and the team at Howdy Honda! I've never been to Howdy Honda before, but I recently got a new car and was struggling for months with Google Assistant not working properly. I just wanted to be able to say, "Take me home" or "Take me to work" without having to manually open Maps on my phone. No matter what I did, it kept asking me to download Google Assistant--even though I already had it! On a busy Saturday, I pulled into Howdy Honda (probably not even in the right spot at first), and Brian greeted me kindly despite the long line of cars. He suggested I might need a reservation but quickly listened to my issue and said, "We might be able to help you real quick--go inside and see if Ryan's available." Sure enough, Ryan Harper was free. I gave him a quick rundown of the issue, and he didn't hesitate--he said we probably didn't need an appointment and offered to take a look right away. We went outside, he hopped in the car, and within five minutes, he fixed the problem! I was so relieved, especially since I'm heading out of state soon. On top of that, he gave me a quick refresher on how to check if I need an oil change--something I'd totally forgotten how to do. Super grateful for the help, kindness, and efficiency from both Brian and Ryan. Thanks for turning my stressful situation into a smooth experience. Howdy Honda, you've got a great team!

I have been driving Hondas (Civic, Accord, and my favorite: CR-V) since 1994. I have been doing business with Howdy Honda since 1998. Since 2003, I have worked exclusively with Brad Plauche' at Howdy Honda. On August 29, 2025, I drove away in my THIRTEENTH Honda automobile. If you are considering the purchase of a Honda automobile, you owe it to yourself to make an appointment with Brad: I assure you that Brad's number one priority will be YOU. Brad is an active, patient listener who cares about his customers. They come first! * Brad remembers his customers, and they remember him. Recently, he visited with his very first customers from 29 years ago! * Brad follows up with his customers to ensure that they are completely satisfied with their new Honda. * When you are in the dealership tending to maintenance, if Brad is not meeting with a future Honda owner, he will greet you and make sure that you are still pleased with your Honda. Brad knows all things Honda! * His Honda product knowledge is terrific. When you purchase a Honda from Brad, you will receive a superb orientation about your new vehicle. * Brad is a fair-minded negotiator with his Howdy Honda sales team (as he works on your behalf). His goal is to find you the most sensible financial arrangement to suit your needs. * He communicates honestly, flexibly, and effectively. * Brad is solutions-driven and committed to resolution should any snags arise with your vehicle purchase. Brad is THE consummate sales professional. He is a super human, too. * He is responsive to phone calls, text messages, and e-mails. * His cheerful outlook is reflected in every single interaction. * Brad is organized. When it is time to begin thinking about your next Honda, he will reach out to you with options, ideas, and solutions before you enter the dealership. * He always takes the time to ask about you. Please give him a shout and let him know that MB sent you!

BUYERS BEWARE: I purchased a 2016 Kia Soul from Howdy Honda a few days ago. Within 72 hours, the check engine light came on, the engine began shaking violently at idle, and there was a strong smell of gasoline. These are serious safety issues that appeared immediately after purchase. I contacted the dealership right away and spoke with my salesperson, Rick, who said he would speak with his manager. After some discussion, I was told to bring the vehicle in tomorrow for evaluation. I understand the car was sold as-is, but a major safety defect appearing immediately after purchase should not fall under that disclaimer. I hope Howdy Honda chooses to take responsibility and make this right. I'll update this review once the dealership has inspected the car and I see how they handle the situation.

Service takes 4x quoted time: I was told the pro-pack installation would be 30-40 mins and I made an appt as well. I showed up Wed at 10:15 a little earlier than my appt. It took them over 2 hours to install - almost than 4x the time quoted.

Never met Rito before this week when we bought our new Grand Hybrid Highlander at $8500+ below MSRP. Ordered pretty much what I wanted and more. To the reader saying there must be something. It is through Costco Auto Program. Only two within 400 miles of Houston. One I never contacted in N Texas. The one in Roundrock was an awful experience..., to where even if they matched the price, the people that work there would be either very nice or rude as f. Had one or two employees made me feel like they were in a hostage situation ("get me outta here"). Selling cars does not give a dealership carte' blanche' to be rude. Nobody in Houston came within $5K on price, with many stating over and over again that I'm going to get taken. Nah, lazy people who aren't willing to do their research and drive 6 hours are getting taken. My wife has a RAV4 Hybrid and when we need a new Toyota we'll go see our friend, "Rito" at Autonation South Austin. Thank you!

He parked in the middle of the lot so drivers couldn't get by. I asked him politely if he could move over so we could get by. He stood there "mean mugging" us for a minute...Then started to slowly walk towards our car. His response after trying to be intimidating (my daughter is 18 by the way...who was driving) was simply, "I'm doing my job" followed by walking away without moving. I did walk inside to mention this to the front desk...and the employee quickly walked in to try and defend himself to his "boss". If this is how they treat you in the parking lot...I can only imagine how they treat you during and after the sale. Glad I came here to read the reviews as well....SO MANY bad reviews.... Definitely won't be trading in at this location. We left and went to a different Toyota not too far away and had the best customer service experience - Toyota of Cedar Park.

My 2025 Silverado experienced a catastrophic engine failure with under 6,000 miles and required a full engine replacement. While the mechanical issue itself is concerning, what has been more frustrating is the lack of communication, follow-through, and urgency from both the dealership and GM. Since the vehicle went into the shop: * I've had to repeatedly initiate contact just to get basic updates * Calls and promised follow-ups from the dealership were not returned * There was no clear repair timeline provided * The replacement engine was later confirmed to be on backorder, extending the delay even further * I've incurred ongoing rental costs due to the lack of a dealer loaner and minimal coordination Despite escalating the issue to GM Customer Care and requesting meaningful resolution, the process has felt slow, reactive, and dismissive of the real inconvenience and financial burden placed on the customer. When you spend hard-earned money on a new vehicle, especially a premium truck, you expect reliability, accountability, and proactive support when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, this experience has demonstrated the opposite. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Capitol Chevrolet or investing in the GM brand to think carefully about what happens after the sale -- because when a serious issue arises, the customer support simply hasn't been there.

Omar and Michael went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the purchase. My mistake was trusting his word. I was about to gopurchase the vehicle, but fortunately used Lemon Busters, who detected some issues with the vehicle. Defensive at first, Michael fixed one of the issues, but during the process I had to wait another day to eventually fly in to get the vehicle. With bad weather that hit and elements beyond my control, flights were cancelled, and I had to wait an additional day to go to Austin to get the vehicle. The flights were so backed up I purchased a one-way rental to go get the car in Austin. But as I was heading there, I was informed BY EMAIL (not a phone call) that he sold the vehicle out from under me. He stated he did not receive the draft from my bank, although I have proof from my bank it was faxed. I emailed Michael enquiring if he had received it well before he imposed (after the fact) a deadline in which I was never told, but he never responded. Be weary of the phone number of his business, as I called numerous times and received an unusual recording to "state your name." I called that number repeatedly and someone finally answered that informed me that it was not Michaels's number. They eventually provided a different number (one different on the paperwork Michael provided) to reach Michael. I asked Michael, who was aware I was en route to retrieve the vehicle, why he did not call me about a potential customer or to obtain my deposit (since I could not reach him via phone) and he informed me that "he did not have my number."Considering he logged my info into his computer and even placed it in the P.O. he arranged, I found this hard to believe.   In a nutshell. Michael will come across as a good guy, but in reality, he just wants money and he will justify it to you as he is a little man in a big pond and has to run a business. He thinks he goes the extra mile, but he has miles confused with kilometers. I spent hundreds on arrangements to purchase the vehicle and especially on the mechanical background check of the vehicle, but Michael opted to sale the vehicle to make extra money, putting him selfishly first and not concerned about the customer that basically paid for someone to fix the vehicle so he could offer it for more to another customer. It is dealerships and salesmen like this that give the car business and the buying experience a bad name. I hope someone reads this so they can avoid being burned. This place has given me second thoughts on using Cargurus.Com and others he associates with to sell his vehicles.

I recently took my Jeep there because a noise was coming from the rear of the vehicle. Despite their horrible reviews, I thought that it couldn't be as bad as the reviews. I was wrong. I dropped vehicle off on a Saturday am - Phillip said they would take a look and call. I didn't receive a call from Phillip Saturday but did receive two calls from the dealership trying talk me into trading my vehicle, trade it before maintenance fees etc and before the mileage eats the value away. Interesting but, the vehicle has the "max" warranty plan. I called on Monday, no status - Tuesday - received an estimate for almost 8k...with a bunch of stuff to do - even though most of it had been done within the last 100k. Anyways - talked on Tuesday...Silence till Friday when I called enough to get a response. Phillip said it should be out by the end of the day. No news Friday, Saturday and could not get anyone to call me Monday. Tuesday - took the day off to go to the dealer for a response. The adventure went from bad to worse. I arrived around 1000 am - tried to find a parking spot. All the parking spots next to the building were filled with inventory, to include the 4x handicap spots. I parked in the one spot left in front of the door - marked visitor. A couple of people came out of the dealership and told me to move my car. I identified myself as a disabled veteran and that they had parked vehicles in the handicapped spaces. The response - there is a space at the end of the second row in the parking lot. This response - you have to judge for yourself. I moved my car and then went into the dealership to find a manager - amazing - none to be found. So - I then went to find Ashley - Customer Service Manager. Ashley went to find Phillip- who was with a "customer". Then Ashley took me to Ivan who could not reach Phillip. We ended up walking into the garage bay to try to find out the status...The tech thought they had the parts, but wasn't sure about the specific parts they were replacing....Going to save the additional writing, you get the picture. Vehicle was finished Tuesday afternoon. Called back to discuss the parking issue - tried to talk to Walter the GM - no response, finally spoke a sales manager. Also sent the Southpoint President a note - no response.
