100% satisfied with quality of job, reasonableness of price, & customer service. My front yard tree died this year. It was one of those things where I thought "Man, I need to look into getting that cut down" but kept putting it off. Luckily, Howard happened to drive through the neighborhood & left a price quote. Very reasonable price. I gave him a call & he swung by a few minutes later. I showed him some branches in the backyard that I also wanted trimmed. He gave me very good deal to combine the jobs. A week later a large crew of ultimate professionals got the job done in about an hour. Left the place spotless. Even threw in adding the mulch to my shrubs. Normally I do a bunch of research before hiring someone. I'm quite fortunate that Howard's Tree Service fell in my lap because it was the perfect job. Good value, great service. Extra shout out to the receptionist, who I spoke with a couple of times and was very helpful. I stupidly had my ringer turned off my phone and thus made her job much more difficult than it should have been. She never lost her patience with me failing to pick up the phone! HORRIBLE!!! We called like 3 weeks before storm "ISAIAS" relating to 3 dead branches that were in danger of falling. We were told they would get to us in 2-3 weeks. It is now a month later and we are being told they are too busy because of "ISAIAS" after we were already on the schedule. read more

Howard and crew arrive like a little army with as much equipment. I had a 60' cedar too close to the foundation and garage. Howard...yes...he actually works with his crew had it down, gone, stump ground, chips removed in about 2 hours. No damage to close by garden, no damage to garage, negligent damage to lawn. He even cut some sections for my wife to make tables or something out of. All this at a price ranging from half to three quarters of other quotes. We had used Howard's a few years ago when we first moved into our home. We needed three or four trees removed so we could have a pool installed. That went very well. They used several sheets of plywood to protect nearby doors and windows, and they cleaned everything up very well. Fast forward about four years later to this past weekend. I needed my neighbor's tree cut down. The neighbor said it was okay with him, the tree didn't bother him. I had a problem with that tree because of limbs constantly dropping as well as the sap dripping. There was a little confusion at first about the company confirming which day they were coming, but it was eventually confirmed to be Saturday after 1:00 PM. The crew of six showed up on time. They obviously have worked together a long time, they all knew exactly what to do. The one fella who climbed the tree and cut and tied off the limbs was very calm and confident. I was nervous for him at first, but he seemed so relaxed up there that I fell asleep in my yard watching him! The tree removal took a bit over an hour and then they ground the stump down. There was a huge mess at first, not only in my yard and my neighbors', but in the street as well. Everything was totally cleaned up by the time they left. I am very satisfied with the whole job and cleanup, and my neighbor was happy with how they left his yard. I will absolutely recommend Howard's, and would use them again if needed. read more

Howard 's Tree Service is the BEST!! They took down a 100 ft Oak tree for us today. It was no small job. Howard and his men showed up 7am , just like they said they would. I recently used Howard's Tree Service. Very nice family run business. A neighbors tree fall on my property and garage after a heavy rain storm. Luckily no damage to my home. I called Friday late evening and left a message. Received a call first thing in the morning on Saturday to schedule an estimate. Howard gave a competitive fair quote and I booked him after getting other estimates. His crew was at my home Monday morning and completed the job. Efficient, careful, cleaned up after well. After a bad experience with another Tree service, saw Howard Tree Service Truck in my neighborhood and call them. They promptly came out and give an appropriate estimate and promised to call me on Monday to set up an appt to remove the tree. After almost 1 1/2 week and I haven't had a phone call, I called and got the impression Oops they kinda of forget to get back to me, but instead said they transferred my estimate to another of their services partner, who didn't call me until 2 days later. BUT it was to set up the appointment for removal.. they came and took down more than one tree, quickly, and efficiently. All done.
