They claim to be Lexus experts (my car is a Lexus). Different employees told me different recommendations which was concerning. I dropped the car off and the next day got a voicemail that the car was fixed and ready for pickup. Great, when I finished transferring my belongings back into my car I am told it just went up on the lift to get worked on. No work had been done whatsoever. Lots of miscommunications on their end. Finally, when I schedule an appointment to get the car fixed the following week they tell me they can't get me in/don't have a loner car until the following week because some people blew their engines and their cars were being worked on. I said "forgot it, nevermind" and went to a competitor I used in Greenville before. They fixed my car in less than 24 hours and had the loner car ready. Ridiculous..

Almost $1,800 later, we at this moment are standing in a parking lot, waiting on a tow truck, on Hwy 123 where two sweet young men helped us finish pushing our car out of the intersection. The car has stranded us twice since we paid YOUR HONEST MECHANIC nearly $1,800 for this very same reason we took it in for. They talked very nice to us and they said they felt they could fix this problem. We kept getting notices that this additional thing needed done and that needed replaced/repaired. We were under the impression all these new issues they were coming up with were necessary to repair the problem we brought the car in for!! At $1,800 they were still saying something else needs work but at this point we were out of money and not knowing ANYTHING about cars we weren't sure we should put more money into the car. We were told the original problem was repaired. Obviously it was not. We took it back for them to look at just a few days afterwards because that light came back on and they said they would like to do another diagnostic and it appeared there was a very slight leak around the top of the radiator. (We have had no issues with radiator leaks at all. Ever.) I would expect that $1,800 should have fixed the issue we walked in with. I believe they knew they had a couple of senior citizens who were completely ignorant about mechanical issues and took it from there. We are waiting, once again, on a tow. That $1,800 could have went a long ways towards our insulin or eliquis or any of our other prescriptions and doctor appointments. I'm giving One star because I can't give 0. Reason being, the very problem we told them about when we took the car in was NOT fixed. It's still doing the very, exact thing. Nothing new. Exactly how it was doing that made us take it in to begin with. They say they test drove it and it was fine but obviously they didn't drive it in the same way a person would use their vehicle because it still turns off if we sit at a light for too long and it will still jerk and act as if it's going to turn off sometimes when we are going down the road. Same 'symptoms' we had when we took it to them.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear that the work was warranties so if there was a problem he would not have to come back here. Well... after I dropped it off to him a week later it had a small problem. He took it locally in FL and told him he would be reimbursed by calling the 800 number. I stopped in at Carolina Automotive to get a copy of the original receipt and they reimbursed me completely without having to call the number. They were (again) extremely nice and I certainly appreciated not having to put in the claim. I would recommend them to anyone who needs repairs!

The dealership was 3 weeks out and $1000 more expansive for the same service that Seth performed in 2 hours in our driveway. We will be keeping Seth's contact info handy for future services.

I was recently notified, by the storage owner, that the vehicle would not start, he believed it to be the mechanical fuel pump as the issue. I contacted Gomez Mobile repair and others eventually speaking with the owner of Gomez, Andres. Andres gave me what I believed a fair price to diagnose and install a new mechanical fuel pump, new hose and filter if needed. I supplied the parts and within two days, Andres, had been to the storage unit, confirmed the fuel pump was the problem and installed the pump. I needed the jeep running the day I return from SE Asia to Greenville. Andres kept me informed, did the work and unbelievably stuck to his price which no mobile service guy does, I was shocked. Andres is well educated on car repair and will soon have his Master ASE technician certification! Andres cost was less than half of other estimates, who after receiving their quotes, I thought they must be quoting changing out the entire engine. Andres is a reservist in the Greenville SC area and serving our great country! I cannot thank him enough, who knew but there are still honest men out there! Andres called me after the repair and talked with me about everything he did. If you require mobile repair, I sincerely believe Andres and Gomez repair deserves a call and your business!
