I saved hundreds by not going to the dealership and who knows what mechanic I would have had there. I found this place because I have an aftermarket warranty and I took the time to read the fine print stating that I needed to get services done from an ASE certified mechanic. I am sure if I didn't read that and I needed to fix a problem, it would have been the excuse of the warranty company to deny any claims. I thought most repair places were ASE certified. After talking to several on the phone, I found out that was not the case. I did a quick google search and Lakeview automotive came up as one of the only service/repair places around with that designated certification and a blue label certification at that. I am not exactly sure what that means but I know for me, it was peace of mind. Knowing that the shop and mechanics have gone thru extensive training, have all the tools/devices they need, and continue to get training in all aspects of their business. This professionalism was demonstrated early on when I first called and spoke to Karen, asking all my questions. I also spoke to the shop manager Phill who took the time to put me at ease about bringing my car in vs going to the dealership. When I arrived for my appt, Karen greeted me with a warm hello and Phill came out to introduce himself. I was taken back to the service bay to look underneath my vehicle and met mechanic James who was also very nice and accommodating. I knew my car was in good hands with someone who actually cared about the work they performed, even if it was just an oil change. I would have said a "simple" oil change, but that's not the case w a Jaguar, it's a lot more involved. When the service was done, I received an email with a thorough inspection report with pictures and items that were completed and items that would need future attention. Not once did I feel any type of upsell. It is comforting to know that I am not going to be told something isn't true or need a service that I don't. Bravo, you guys are A++++ in my book and will get all my future car needs. Thank you Lakeview Automotive and all the staff working there. Keep up the good work. If you are looking for a place for your vehicle, you will be doing yourself a disservice by not contacting this business. Give them a chance, I think you will be impressed.

Early the next morning I started mass calling local tire / maintenance shops to see how we could get the problem fixed before our drive back to FL 2 days later. None of the shops could fit us in until the following week. When I called W.N. Watson, I spoke with Tim and he said bring it in straight away and we'll fit you in. Luckily their convenient downtown location was less than a mile away so I carefully drove to the shop and I was greeted by Tim and a lovely woman at the desk. They called a few hours later to let me know the brake line failed and they could get the parts we needed before they closed for the holiday weekend (it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving!) The car was ready at the end of the day. When we went in to pick it up they were so friendly and helpful, giving restaurant recommendations and sharing some favorites spots for us to visit during our short stay. Before leaving he also switched out our windshield wipers with new blades for our long drive home. Tim and his team saved our vacation by their kindness and helpfulness to fit us in so we could head back home on our planned day. My kids and I could not stop talking about the experience! If I lived locally I would never visit another shop.

He came to my house and looked at my car and gave me an estimate of how much it would cost to fix the issue. He did charge me to come look because that's part of the cost. We agreed on a time, and he showed up when he said he'd be there and my car was fixed for the price he had told me. I had major oil leaks and needed my car to be fixed! Since then he's done cv axle, ball joints, brakes, starter, and alternator. So far I haven't had any problem he couldn't fix. And did I mention he shows up when he says he will?
