Our pup has never looked this amazing after a grooming appointment (seriously)! Although we got started a bit after the scheduled time, considering things like traffic and the lack of parking downtown, the delay was not terrible. Amy took such good care of our pup -I'm impressed with her look because my husband and I didn't have a vision per se, but Amy fulfilled our fluffy pup dreams! She took her time with Bella's mats and shaved the ones in sensitive areas to keep her comfortable and healthy, while maintaining her aesthetic. Although the services can be a bit pricey with timing and such, I know my pup benefitted from being the only dog in the van as she can get riled up from wanting to play. I would highly recommend this for pets that are like that or are just generally anxious about grooming. TLDR: I'm super happy with my pup's look, and would recommend Amy!

House and Hound is the BEST! It was the first time I used them, and I'm so glad I did. Amy is professional, a great listener, prompt, and worked with me to ensure Harley, my English Spring Spaniel (9 years old), was groomed VERY well. Amy even got out the grooming standard book, as we discussed Harley's haircut. Gold Star for accuracy and precision! Having previously gone to a regarded groomer for the last year and endured a very bad recent haircut, I was nervous about starting over. Yet, Amy worked to clean up Harley's lines and and make her simply beautiful again. Harley got the full service bath, grooming, teeth, and nails! Pup beautification complete. I'm so glad I chose House & Hound - our next appointment is already booked. Don't go anywhere else - just call Amy. She comes to you, with a great attitude and provides gentle, quality care and grooming for your pup. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Our golden shows her neat fancy pants and deshedded coat.

First time grooms for our 6 yr old golden and 2 yr old corgi, and it couldn't have gone better. Amy found a flat space for her mighty grooming van at a nearby school because our cul de sac is too sloped. My pups met her and then I walked our golden over. This pup can be anxious and had some sap and mats to remove from her coat. I helped Amy put her in the tub and left for a while. Amy likes a natural look on Goldens, and I agree. Pup's legs were tidied but still feathered, fancy pants shaped, coat deshedded, and tail dematted. She's sooo soft now. Our corgi needed much less in the way of mat removal, but he got his toenails Dremmeled, booty shaped and he smells great!

My 6 month old yorkipoo got his first grooming with Diane. Diane was attentive, calm, very good with my puppy and did an excellent job. Also, I appreciate her asking me what style of cut I wanted. He received so many compliments so I'll definitely bring him back for another grooming. Little Bear Grooming will be my puppy's main go-to groomer. Can't wait to bring him back for another cut! I…read morethink I spoke with Paola and she was able to fit him in the next day (which bar the time was a Wednesday..?) In one of the recent photos attached you can see he is well past-due since we typically trim him at home only taking him in if absolutely needed/when his grandpawrents offer. We dropped him off around 1pm and he was done close to 6:30pm. Poor thing has high anxiety so to say the least, he was not happy when we took him home haha. Disclaimer - we give him lots of treats and love. They were short a staff member who called out that day so rather than cancelling on clients, they split the dogs amongst the ladies working and you could tell they'd were strained but still treated the dogs kindly. Cheryl groomed Kona that day and we got a kick out of her bc she doesn't sugar coat - Kona was "not good" that day as he can be very dramatic and wiggly. She was stern in a nice way towards him but you can tell she is also a perfectionist so he turned out quite round and floofy - which we loved. His coat was growing out by the next week as expected. I'd recommend taking a look a the nearby shops while waiting as there are plenty of them.

We have been regular goers to Pawbillion, but after this last time we will not be going anymore…read more To start, the staff are lovely and kind to both us and our dog. However, multiple times now the grooming service has taken 5+ hours. The last time, we dropped our pup off at 12:40PM for a 1:00PM appointment for him not to be done until 6:00PM when Pawbillion closes. Not only did our pup take 5 hours to be groomed, but the result was poor. His head barely looked like it got worked on and his paws look like horse hooves with how they cut in between the paw pads. It is unfortunate because we have liked going and found the staff to be great to both customers and dogs. Seeing 10+ dogs leave the groomer before ours even got worked on means that our dog was sitting in a pen for at least three hours before he was attended to. And yes, we were sitting in the parking lot for 2 hours thinking our pup would be done around the 4PM timeframe (3+ hours, a more common time for a grooming) so we saw exactly how many other dogs got groomed before hours while ours just sat in a pen... If you book a customer for a 1PM appointment, then don't overbook which makes dogs just sit there. Very disappointing.

The gentleman had on a newsboy cap and the woman had reddish hair (forgive me for not having better details, I was so sad. But the sentiment remains the same.) There are businesses you visit, and then there are places that become part of your family's story. All The Best falls firmly into the latter category. Since moving to Ballard, our dog was a regular visitor. He'd shamelessly help himself to treats from the bins, tail wagging with pure delight at his "successful" heist-- the cashiers were always so gracious. And on top of that, the store regularly hosts wonderful community events (like the wading pool they set up during farmers market days.) But it was on our dog's final day that the staff last Wednesday morning truly showed us the greatest kindness. We brought him in one last time, and they let him steal treats to his heart's content. Without being asked, they prepared a goodie bag filled with food and treats he might enjoy, and they gave me forget-me-not seeds. In a moment when I was completely broken, they showed such genuine compassion and understanding. Those treats kept Teddy calm and happy in his last moments, and I will never forget the incredible kindness of their gesture. If you're looking for a pet store where your furry family members will be truly welcomed and cherished, where the staff genuinely cares about your pet's happiness, and where you'll be treated like family, this is your place. Thank you to the team for being such beautiful souls. You've made me a customer for life.
