She didn't wag her tail, didn't come to me like she usually does, and was unusually quiet. Something felt off. That night she stayed calm at home, but the next morning, after just five minutes outside, she refused to walk. I noticed her paw was swollen and inflamed. The vet said it looked like trauma or possibly a burn around the nail bed, consistent with grooming-related injury. The salon later sent a photo of Daisy after the grooming, but it doesn't show her paws at all. That felt strange. When I called to share what happened and ask for accountability, the owner was cold, dismissive, and refused to take any responsibility or even acknowledge the concern. I'm not here to point fingers, but I do want to share my experience. Daisy is healing now, but this was and still is a painful and stressful experience for both of us. We have a new appointment at the vet.

The waiting line can be long at times but there is a little space under the eaves when its raining. They have multiple bays and can wash many dogs quite quickly. There are two prices, one for 8 minutes and one for 12 minutes. I usually get one our dogs washed and dried under 8 minutes. All soap and rinse is from the same hose with no need to stop. The bonus is they have an herbal soap that keeps the dogs smelling great for days.

She was very polite and honest with what could be done and not. I had trimmed her face earlier and boss lady wasn't any about telling me that I messed up lol. ("Why did you trim her body if you knew she was coming here!") I personally appreciate her forwardness, feels like home I hadn't had good luck with other groomers in the past. Yorkies can be hard to trim and shape due to their silky hair so I was very skeptical. I kept telling boss lady that I want her to look very cute. When I got her.... VERY cute.
