Spoke with an arrogant lady today 2/22/24 who claimed to be the owner. Did some research and the owner is listed as Joseph Perry. I feel sorry for Joseph if this is his wife/business partner. I have been taken advantage of by several companies regarding laminated glass in the past so my radar was on. I asked several qualifying questions to this rude woman and her response was "People like you who don't trust.." This leading response is unprofessional and does not follow the guidelines of proper customer service! Somebody smashed out a window on my truck to grab some spare change. I contacted my insurance online and was to told that my deductible ($500) was higher than their "preferred provide" Safelite's $388 charge. Went online to schedule a mobile repair with Safelite (via the link my insurance provided) and they could not get to me for 6 days! I wasn't about to drive around and park for a week without my side window. I called Hour Auto Glass, spoke to a very friendly woman, who quoted me $219 total, and could have someone out the next morning between 8-10 am. Carlos showed up at 8:45, texted me before he arrived (as promised). He was a good guy, friendly, and got right to work. Had a new window installed perfectly in less than an hour! I had these guys replace my windshield and a couple of days later when I was driving it started raining but my wipers didn't work when I tried to turn them on. I called them back, they sent someone out to look but he couldn't figure it out so I took it to the dealer who said that the fuse was blown. They said that it couldn't have been there fault because they don't touch that part which may or may not be true but I find it incredibly coincidental that my wipers stopped working after they replaced my windshield. I've been driving for more than 30 years and that's the first time windshield wipers stopped working on me. It's also the first time I've had my windshield replaced too. Coincidence? What do you think? Also wasn't happy with the trim work on my windshield, looks like crap to me.....and I found a shard of glass on my seat after they finished and left as well. these people are great! I had the worst fiasco with Safelite, three windshields later three canceled appointments later and a broken mirror mount.... I was left with a mirror it was literally dangling and I had had enough with Safelite! I got a hold of Hour Autoglass, and less than a day later he very respectful courteous and professional gentleman by the name of Francisco came to my house took a look at my mirror and was able to fix it right there on the spot, he really bent the housing bracket and put it back together perfectly I didn't charge a dime... I don't even want to give 1 Star Today is 06/28/2022 I had made an appointment over the phone to have my Toyota Prius Windshield replaced. The appointment window was between 2 & 4 at Coddingtown Mall in Santa Rosa. Cutting to the chase, Know one showed up... I drove a Combined 3 hours from Lake County to Santa Rosa. I took the day off Work also. These guys do not answer the phone! I called the day before to confirm. The woman on the phone said they will call me day of appointment to tell me when they will be arriving in my window of time they stated. Again they did not show up... They did not answer the phone when I called multiple times today... The phone number on Google does not match the phone that you call. The mailbox is always full. Very bad service if you ask me... I lost out on $200 Dollars of work pay today because of this appointment. They had the best price in town that is why I chose them. They just lost a customer who would have told so many people about them if they would have done something as simple as show up. I'm so upset right now! A whole pay day wasted. Like anyone can afford to take days off now with how expensive everything is... Maybe they will call me and make it right. But how can they do that when I can't even leave a voicemail..?! The quote that you first see does not include taxes and fees. After taxes and fees were added, it was $150 more!!! To make things worse, Safelite states their next appt was 10 days out.... Then I started researching and found Hour Auto Glass. Very easy company to deal with! And their quote was out the door price. And their quote was for $100 less than Safelite's quote before taxes and fees were added (so $250 less than Safelite). Oh, and they came the next morning!! They told me between 1-3 and my wife waited for them while I was at work. I called them at 3 and they said they were having computer problems but it just seemed a bit disorganized. They didn't have a lot of my info correct and I'm guessing it's because the girl I spoke to originally to make the appointment was rushing and I felt that she didn't get my info correct (maybe my fault). Finally after then getting the technicians phone number and giving my address for the 4th or 5th time he showed up around 5:30. I know it's not his fault. It should have been scheduled better and they could have called and communicated with me letting me know they were behind.
