He drove in on a Sunday and was able to reprogram an existing car key, program a new car key with a remote, provide me with a two shells for the car key that had a rusted shut shell, and make a copy of my mailbox, which was out of stock at both Home Depot and another locksmith. All of this in under an hour (probably could've done it even quicker but I had gone out to walk the dogs). But not only is he proficient and efficient, he is also dedicated, professional, and courteous. Not once did I feel like I had to haggle with him on price or that he was pushing an agenda. Leon is awesome! We communicated for two days on meeting up for a key. (I wasn't in a rush and was able to head towards his direction.) But what I appreciated was that he was communicative and kept me well informed of his availability. Once we locked in a time he was really fast and made me a duplicate in less than half an hour for my mom's Honda CRV alarm key. It was identical and worked like a charm! I don't know why he gets such great reviews. He was the cheapest to program a key fob, so I called him out. The first time he spent over an hour and left saying my fob was bad. He came out again (another hour), this time supplying his own fob. He said that one was bad. Two strikes and your out. Furthermore he shows up and his car/truck looked like a junk yard. That should have been one sign that he wasn't on his game. Communication was cryptic and very hit and miss. I went to the next guy (a little more expensive) and he programmed my the original fob that Leon said was bad. Sorry Leon, you may be good, you get good reviews, but this experience did not pan out. My lesson: cheaper is not always better! read more
