The community is awesome- super friendly, welcoming, and just a great vibe overall. Everyone I talk to has been here for 4, 5, 6, even 7+ years, which says everything about how special this place is. The coaches are amazing, focused on correct form, building skill, and making sure you get the most out of every workout. They have scaled options for everything, so no matter where you're at, you'll feel like you can do this and grow. I love walking in, seeing the workout, and thinking, I'm going to do that?! The "during" is always challenging, but walking out feeling proud and accomplished makes it all worth it. I've made this part of my daily routine, and I'm already seeing results. If you're thinking about joining- do it! You won't regret it.

From day one, I felt welcomed by the community, and now I've made some amazing friendships with people who share the same goals and interests. There's something really special about surrounding yourself with others who push you, support you, and genuinely want to see you succeed. One of the most inspiring parts of SUBU is the incredibly strong and supportive group of women here. The energy is empowering--everyone celebrates each other's wins, lifts each other up, and motivates one another to keep showing up and getting better. Being surrounded by such badass women has pushed me to go further than I ever thought I could. Since starting, I've seen a huge improvement in my gymnastic skills--movements that once felt impossible are now part of my regular workouts. My body composition has also noticeably changed for the better; I feel stronger, leaner, and more confident in my own skin. But above all, what keeps me coming back is how fun it is. The coaches know how to challenge us while keeping the energy high and the workouts exciting. I actually look forward to going to the gym EVERY SINGLE DAY! SUBU isn't just a gym, it's a community, and I'm so grateful to be part of it.

The best workout environment in Orlando! Coach Joe has created an awesome environment for every…read moreskill level. CFMD is a welcoming gym that works to empower, motivate, and make you an all around healthier person! I've tried my fair share of fitness studios and workouts around Orlando. For the longest time was a regular at a chain gym and focused primarily on weightlifting. I decided that I wasn't being fulfilled in my workouts and wanted to try something I had never done before; CrossFit. I was always skeptical about trying CF but reached out to see what it was all about. I had a new member consultation with Joe and was immedietly drawn to check out more. Joe walked me through his fitness journey and really hit on every point I was concerned about. He recommended started with some PT to see where I was at physically and get me comfortable with proper CF form. I felt so much better about starting CF after the training and felt like in such a short time my form and athleticism had tremendously improved. Coach Joe is amazing and really works to tailor the workouts to your needs. I took my first CF class recently and to say I'm hooked is an understatement. I am so glad to have found a gym that is so incredibly welcoming and motivating (both coaches and members). I would totally recommend checking out CFMD if you're looking for a fun yet challenging workout, this is it! Also, Grace the french bulldog is a regular and always ready for some pets!

5 Stars for a fitness studio that motivates and empowers, while still remaining scaleable and…read morecustomizable for any level of athlete. Including this "skinny-fat" girl who hasn't worked out in over two months. To say I was skeptical of Crossfit would be a gross understatement. Like you, I have made the occasional joke at my sister's expense about the cult of Crossfit. I imagined insanely fit people, or folks who were just generally over-the-top, yelling at each other while throwing weights on the ground, grunting, and pushing themselves to unhealthy places. And then I finally agreed to go to a buddy workout with my sister at her Crossfit studio. And then I ate my words. And burpeed them out again as new, and educated words. Words like "air squats" and "burpees," for that matter. The workout was posted ahead of time so we had an idea of how horrific it would be. I was prepared for the worst- the dreaded simultaneous puke/faint. Word of advice, eat a protein rich meal an hour ahead of class. I'm grateful my sister reminded me early because I have no doubt that I would have accomplished the puke/faint otherwise. Coach Joe and a woman coach (who was lovely and stayed to talk to me, but whose name escapes me) were so motivating. Coach Joe demonstrated each move we'd be doing in our long buddy sequence. What's that? You want another gross understatement? Here you go: "My big sister carried our team of two." I'm not ashamed to say that I worked at my own pace, and proud of it. The best part? Everyone in the room is doing their workout at their pace and no one is judging you. Overall, my preconceptions were wrong and I loved the warm vibes this place.

What can I say! I love Project 7 Yoga!…read more I have been coming to this studio on and off for years (starting back in 2018-ish). During the earlier stages of my time coming here, I'd usually only go to their Yin / Deep Stretch classes because I had a pretty solid work-out regime outside of yoga. So, the deep stretching was a great balance to my primarily cardio-based routine. It was not until last year, that I fully committed to a membership and it's been the best decision I have ever made. Though I am not a complete novice to the practice of yoga (as I have been doing it on and off with no real consistency since middle school when it was recommended as physical therapy to me by my doctor), I am a novice to being consistent with my practice of yoga. Signing up for a membership, has been the game changer. The instructors are amazing. Patient yet encouraging. They take the time to learn your face (and name) which just makes attending the studio feel that just more like a supportive friend group. Though, they offer primarily heat based classes, do not FEAR it. The heat is bearable. It's almost as if with each passing move you are sweating out the negative energy of the day, toxins, and any bad vibes you may have had following you that day. You leave feeling refreshed, inspired and deeply proud of yourself for showing up for YOU. Needless to say, I am a total fan of this studio. The space is clean and there is ample parking. They offer great membership packages as well as reasonable drop-in class prices. They also host various restorative events like crystal bowl meditations. And if yoga is your calling, fret not, because you can also go through instructor training under their tutelage. I say all that to finally say, if you have not been, I definitely recommend giving this studio a go! You won't regret it! Peace & Love. Namaste.
