The morning we left after our vacation in August 2015, this is by the entrance to the Hotel
    Tony L.

Hotel Ticuan is still as good as my previous reviews indicate, full service with a great restaurant and staff, also secure garage parking with valet service at no extra charge. Others have complained about things that are simple cultural differences. You cannot charge anything to your room, that seems to only exist in the US and perhaps Canada. There are limits as to how many people can be registered to a room. They also have strict rules about visitors after 8 pm. This is due to the rule about only so many people may sleep in a room. This is common practice in many countries outside the US. The hotel is not homophobic nor does it discriminate based on race or nationality. I have been using this hotel for myself and my guests for close to two decades. I eat frequently in their restaurant and enjoy it very much. The one amenity the hotel does not offer is a swimming pool. Otherwise they have everything you could possibly need. Also the location is great for seeing the sights of Tijuana. It's literally 1/2 block from Revolution the Main Street of downtown Tijuana, a plethora of restaurants, shopping, coffee shops and cafe's, and of course bars. Overall I love staying here and do whenever I am able to do so. All my guests I have recommended the hotel to, have also been highly pleased.

MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I decided to give this place a second chance. NEVER AGAIN!! Bad hospitality. They ask for identification for all guests staying here which is fine, but asking for ID for my little son which he does not have a ID so they ask for birth certificate to make a copy... ??? I told her no personal information is on there, she was really rude with attitude and had us wait for so long she was doing it purpose. We came here before and they were always ok with it. She must be new, she really needs training on good customer service skills. Her name is PERLA and supposedly she's the one in charge tonight. QUE EXPERIENCIA TAN HORRIBLE.. She needs to humble herself and appreciate people staying here. Then in Morning went to have breakfast with our family that stays here and decided to take our most valuable stuff after reading the some of the people past reviews thank god I did. We left for a couple of hours came back then realized they had taken our bathroom accessories such as traveling shampoo etc went to talk to the staff in the front and with our luck it was PERLA . and had said that housekeeping left for the day and they have to communicate with them in the morning. 2 hrs went by decided to go downstairs and saw housekeeping inquired about our belongings and they said they will check came upstairs 5min later housekeeping knocks in our room brought back our items. Another reason why PERLA shouldn't be working here, she lied about housekeeping gone and to check in the morning she didn't want to help us because of the incident of last night. Next time I'm just stay at our usual spot the grand hotel Tijuana. Rated 1 star only because it wouldn't let me proceed because this place would have zero stars with the hospitality and service.

A great hotel located and attached directly to the front business building where I get my dental work done. Free parking if you stay the night or $20 pesos ($1.00 US) per hour, (I believe $100 pesos ($6.00 US for the day), very clean parking lot with a security guard. Elevator access from garage to interior of the building. The room I stayed in was quite large, clean, with large windows that provided a view of the city. Would definitely stay again and highly recommended if you're in the area

My room #420 was flooded. When I reported the incident I was told it came from the air con vent. Shoes got wet. The management did nothing to accommodate my stay. They offered 10% discount on future stay. Which i declined because it was a pathetic deal. I asked them to refund or rebook a room which they declined. The manager was not a customer service person even pleading for alternate accommodation. Took pictures for evidence. Will never stay here again.

Loved our stay at Hotel Ticuan this past weekend. Service was phenomenal. Very clean & nice decorations. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Went to the bar for some drinks and our server / bartender was very attentive.

I've been here several times and always felt safe. They are accommodating at a great price. First off they have their own parking structure and security. It makes you feel safe leaving your car here. A lot of the staff speaks English and they have a restaurant and bar in the lobby. They accept USD debit and credit. The gym is decent. I haven't checked out the spa. The food in the restaurant is okay. It's expensive for what it is. However the area is safe. I wouldn't venture off walking in the middle of the night but I feel safe walking back from the bars and restaurants down the street in the tourist area. There's plenty of police around and you're a stones throw from shops and nightlife.

My friend and I stayed and had a great time, the support staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The woman at the front counter had a dry personality, in my 3 or 4 interactions with her she never smiled, she answered our questions direct and to the point. I was unfamiliar with the hotel, the parking procedure and the area, a reassuring smile would have made a world of a difference. The housekeepers were extremely kind and helpful as well as the security personnel for whom I did leave a tip for their willingness to assist and go the extra mile. We enjoyed the breakfast and had a great experience. Our double room was clean and orderly, not too much noise came in from the club next door, I enjoyed better sleep than I do in my own home. It was a nice experience.

Good location for hotel. We stayed here just for the night. The room was Very clean felt up to date. Beds were comfortable. They had a couple bottles of water in the room and a coffee machine. The shower was very nice and the amenities (soap and such) were good. Great towels for what it's worth. We did have a good breakfast in the restaurant. Huevos Rancheros were good, not great. My buddy really liked his American Omelet. I wish I would have reviewed Yelp for the tip on room location. DO NOT ACCEPT A ROOM FACING REVOLUTION AVENUE. The club goes till 4-5 in the am. Ugh. The boom boom boom never stopped from the bass. We were even on the top floor, 7th, which did not seem to help at all. We did have breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. It was a good m

The rooms are small, with all the usual amenities, plush bed, and space is utilized well.  Staff is very friendly, attentive.  There is a really awesome bar with indoor outdoor seating and the chef/bartender Miguel  great stories and life experiences from his world travels he's willing to share. Drinks were good but a bit expensive.   If you are a couple who want to be in the downtown TJ area to experience nightlife, this might be the place for you.  However, the hotel doesn't have its own parking, as it is off-site, not oriented for families or those who have difficulties moving around or in need of ramps.

I felt safe. *Bar was clean and great environment. *Close to all the Bars, Casino, Clubs, & food. *Bar Waiter is great and attentive. *Drinks are great, loved the Whiskey Sour. *Bathrooms are clean with hot water. *Loved the hotel environment and the artistic atmosphere. *The hotel gives discounts on parking. *Decent coffee by the reception desk. *AC was working. Cons: *No way to cancel rooms. *Rooms are a little pricey for the location. *No free continental breakfast. Just some small cakes and postre at the reception desk. *Bed sheet had stains. *Pillows are too soft. *Bed mattress was okay, I prefer firm mattress. *The room I stayed in had a huge square hole on top of the closet. *You have to park your vehicle at the 24-hour Sorianas Parking Lot. It appears to have no security, so park at your own risk. *Hotel is not exactly located at a great location, I witnessed a robbery and an on foot cop chase. *Loud music that you can hear in your room until around 2:00 am. But it's not too uncomfortable. *Can hear doors slam from other rooms. Final thoughts, I would definitely recommend it, and I will stay again.

But hey it's a brothel hotel so we should already be expecting that. Compared to other brothel hotels I've been to around the world this one is very nice lol They have been trying to improve it though. They built newer rooms with nicer decorations and refrigerators, updated the restaurant Azul that's attached to it, and have comment cards for you to write comments and suggestions which I don't think anyone reads lol They make you give a $30 deposit if you get one of the newer rooms for the drinks that are in the refrigerator in case you drink any. Also a separate $10 deposit for the remote of the tv. The older rooms are shitty so sucks if you get stuck with one of those cause they have been being fully booked a lot recently. Another thing to note is that when you walk up without a reservation they almost always tell you they are sold out. It's always noisy too so don't think you're gonna get good night sleep here. Sound of high heels walking down the hallways at all hours of the night, drunk fuckers being loud and making noise while walking in the hallways as well. So it's hard to relax unless you're really far away but still then always someone making noises or moans from fucking. The walls are thin lol There are 2 entrances. One on the red light side where the street girls are and the one in the front main entrance for hk. You can exit hk on either side and go up with a girl so it's still convenient. If you wanna go up low key with a girl and not let the whole club see you then go out the back entrance. Less eyes and you won't be seen doing the walk of shame back into the club haha enjoy! P.S. I forgot to add that one day I was walking out and there was a mouse outside one of the rooms. ABSOLUTELY VILE!
