This Hotel was one of the most charming (and not in the old, weird way, in the kind and stylish way) boutique hotels I have ever stayed. The staff were incredibly attentive and generous, from the manager to the young woman who cleaned our room. They acted like our patronage mattered and they made every effort to give us a special experience. The rooms are small, but accommodated with all the modern and high end finishes a hotel like this must have. They cleaned our room completely once a day, and tidied it up twice a day.
The hotel did not include breakfast, but they do include a tea service in the sitting room which was quite lovely, dare I say civilized. The Hotel Racamier manages all these things without being hoity-toity.
I can't capture this place in words, but I'll try: beautiful, warm, French, clean, special, boutique, stylish, fancy, modern, delightful. read more
