We stayed here for five nights in October 2023 and we had one of the best rooms, on the fourth floor with a tiny balcony big enough sit and enjoy a glass of (red) wine, even eat our to-go dinners. Surely this one of the best rooms in the hotel. Wonderful and helpful front desk staff; they made us feel like family. A wonderful location, around the corner from the Spanish steps, walking distance (for us) to Borghese (don't miss this, the best gallery in our four-city European tour). We walked to the Colosseum, Tivoli Fountain (go early or very late) and had nearby choices of dozens of restaurants with indoors and outdoor seating. Plenty of convenient markets, shops and gelato galore. Hint: get off the busy main streets and you'll discover all sorts of
wonderful little shops, places to fill water bottles and have a coffee. The only thing on our hotel wish list was for better, softer pillows. The Pillow Man could make a fortune in Europe and we would be rid of him...the evening views from our deck of the restaurants and traffic below memorable. We will definitely go there again...and book early enough to get that same, magical room. read more
