It looks clean, but beware

We got bedbugs Yep. My husband let them know and they said they would "look into it" We booked through hotels.com and the site reached out to them to get us a refund and the hotel refused. We had to THROW our stuff out. A doctor and nurse verified the bed bug bites. And we had pictures. Beware.

We stayed here the first week of May. Hotel Moab is centrally located with easy access to local shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable and served our needs for 4-nights. There is free parking on-site. And check-in was reasonably quick and friendly. It's an older hotel with dated bathrooms and fixtures. There's no closets for your clothes. I believe some of the rooms may be remodeled. However, ours was not. We had a 2nd floor room in the main building/lobby of the hotel. We were originally facing the street side, but we could immediately tell that it was going to make for a noisy stay. Upon our request, they immediately changed our room to one overlooking the parking lot. It was pricey for what we got, but everything in Moab seemed to be at the higher price point when we stayed. With reservations, you receive a daily $5 voucher for the Pancake Haus next door.

The only nice thing about this hotel was the bed. 120/night for a room with a broken vent piece on the wall and counter in the bathroom. I understand we were not given a renovated room but this was a broken down reject room in the corner. Half of the outlets didn't work, the tv hardly worked and when we notified the front desk we were told that maintenance wouldn't come until morning which was fine. However, when maintenance showed up he spent less than 20 minutes looking at the tv before telling us it must be the cable provider.... I will say that the ladies working the front desk are all very nice and the Pancake Haus was decent. Otherwise don't waste your money here when you can get the same experience Aran 80$ morel.

BED BUGS!!! Over 13 bed bugs found in first 10 minutes in room. Immediately advised front office, 2-3 other families were before us all leaving for same issue. They have an infestation here, they were on/in both beds, ceiling, windows. Just covered it's a true INFESTATION! Couldn't imagine waking up to a big in the bed or on my face!!! Yuck! Owner ran off when we checked out, this place should be condemned and closed. For the health and safety of your family don't book here.

The room was big and clean, the bed was comfortable.... the AC was noisy but the windows open and it was cool at night so a non issue for me. It is right downtown so the location was great. The checkin staff didn't seem to know much about the town which was disappointing. The Internet worked intermittently and the top dresser drawer slowly opened all by itself all the time.

This motel was very gross and staff are very rude and inconsiderate. We were so grossed out that we ended up just driving home 3 hours away and just taking the $80 loss because they would not let us cancel.

We found feces in our room. #neverforget. I am truly disgusted by the reality of our experience at this hotel. We have not forgotten.

Our room was spacious with a sitting area that included a comfortable sofa, and a chair and ottoman. The staff is incredibly friendly and jumped in to assist with any needs or inquiries. The breakfast was a hive of activity with staff that refreshed supplies as they dwindled, helped to tidy tables and made every guest feel welcome. Things to note: There is a large patio outside the breakfast area that is open to guests any time of the day. This space is a great spot to eat breakfast, watch the sun come up, to check out the constant parade of 4WD vechicles that come though town, to people watch, and to socialize at the end of the day; This location is perfect for walking just about anywhere in town; Numerous restaurants were a block or two away; Free parking at the hotel was plentiful; The pool and hot tub were wonderfully relaxing and were in a private outdoor space with some tables/chairs that were either under a roof or umbrellas that provided shade; A locked bike room was available; The coin guest laundry room was very nice to have on-site; The entire hotel was very clean and well lit. Will I stay here again? Most certainly. This area has so many places to explore. I can't wait to go back, and now I know of a great place to call my home-base.

First let me say staff was super friendly. The gentleman doing the breakfast was super nice. But…read morewhen we checked in they informed us they now charge for parking. They had no written or documentation of this when we reserved our room. We have stayed here once before. And we're never charged this. Rooms are clean but the tub drained so slow that you had to wait before the next person could shower. The beds were so lumpy and uncomfortable also. The only reason we are giving 3 stars is do to the friendly staff. Also we spent the night and morning listening to all the doors slamming shut. They need to fix this because people don't care to be quiet.

The toilet handle sticks so sometimes you have to make sure to unstick it or the water keeps running. The shower door was beginning to become unglued from its frame. It's an older hotel maybe? The breakfast buffet was average. Nothing special. But it's a hot breakfast so that's nice. And they offer tea, not just coffee. The dining area was large which was also nice. There is a small fitness center but enough to get a cardio workout in. The pool is indoors so you can use it year round. And then jump into the hot tub after too. They provide towels for the pool and fitness center. There is a convenience corner with little items you may need. And what looks like a former business center area. No computer there now, just two chairs. The Halloween decorations are so fun. I love the skeletons hanging out. Our view was of the back of other buildings. Bed ok, pillows too fluffy. Wifi connectivity not great so the TV froze a lot. There is parking that's covered and an underground overflow lot too. Diamond member parking with handicap parking up front. The rewards program asked for a lot of points to book a stay which, compared to a Marriott property we had come from, was an outrages amount. But if you are looking for a solid place to stay, this is not a bad property. Easy to walk to many places on the Main Street. Close to many good and retail choices and also to the Information Center.

The very best ever front desk employee we have ever had the pleasure of meeting in alllll of our years traveling! Red is a GEM!!! Hotel is very clean, pools and hot tubs are amazing! Breakfast was good, one breakfast attendant was rather rude and we could hear her yelling back in the kitchen. I hope she has better days. BUT this place is amazing with amazing staff, especially Red!!

We checked in at 3pm and the room class we had reserved wasn't available - "we only have one room…read moreready." We took it, only to discover it smelled like 2-3 wet dogs had been in the room for a week.... Totally disgusting. They told us to come back in a couple hours. Only one room available and it was ok, but not what we had reserved. Other issues: The "filtered water" station tasted horrible. Not sure what was wrong, but the tap water was better. Tried to get the front desk manager to try it, but he wouldn't. They did have complimentary water bottles available, but they were out. "We haven't had a delivery in a few days". Didn't really seem to think this was a problem. Overall, the front desk staff didn't seem to give a crap! Also, the pool heater was not working, so pool was not an option. Room was just ok (I think it was $350 a night?). Coffee at breakfast was way better than most free hotel buffets. Breakfast staff lady was super nice. They should move her to front desk!
